Classic Pest Control & Insulation

We use Classic Pest & Insulation for our rodent and spider maintenance, and we have been so pleased with the service that we had them replace the insulation in our attic and crawl space. We were so impressed with their service, from quoting to installation. I want to give a big shoutout and thank you to the crew who did the work, who were so courteous and left everything spotless. They expertly covered any surfaces that needed it, and when they finished, you would never have known they removed old insulation and replaced it with new. Thank you! Called Classic Pest Control & Insulation for an estimate on improving our attic - Todd came out the same day and did a thorough evaluation with pictures and helpful information on the current condition and various options. Todd was a great communicator, he was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. No hard sell, which makes me more likely to trust this company and hire them when the time comes.

Wow. I have used Classic for 8 years, both for insulation and pest control. They were great to work with and did a consistently good job for a reasonable fee. As a text from them today requested, I called to reschedule a service call. The person who answered identified himself as the owner, and indicated he was “back” because he didn’t like the way the company was being run. Because I wanted my service to include a crawlspace inspection of the rodent traps that they put in - something that is part of the service they have always done — and that I pay for — said I was being too rigid and he didn’t want me as a customer. Again, wow.

They don’t follow through on their contract and forget to check bait-stations and traps, or spray the areas they said they would! In 2019 we hired them to do the insulation in our crawl space. We signed a contract stating that as long as they do the pest control at our house they’ll guarantee the insulation. Now in 2024 they decided that they don’t want to service our area and broke the contract. They didn’t even offer another company that’s willing to take the contract over from them. Also their technicians don’t always check all of the traps/bait-stations and don’t always spray where they said they would. If you hire them make sure you double check their work as often they forget to do what they got paid for! Now we hired a different local company for our pest control!

I have used classic pest control and insulation on several of my properties. The person who answers the phone is very helpful. Also, when we needed a situation dealt with right away, Josue Came the same day and sealed the access point. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and I trusted him to protect my property. I highly recommend!

Josue arrived with an extremely positive attitude. He was pleasant and immediately outlined what he expected to do. Classic helped us address a powder post beetle problem in a 99 year-old house in Anacortes. Mark Robinson came out and did the initial inspection and found activity in several locations. He suggested spraying the wood in the crawl space with Bora-Care and/or Tembor. This involved removing all the old insulation and replacing it with new after the spraying was complete. The cost of this project was substantial but given the work involved reasonable. Everything was done on time and the guys that did the work were friendly and efficient. The office staff was also very responsive and friendly. If you have a PPB problem, I suggest you give them a try. Mark was an easy guy to work with. I'd done a lot of reading on PPB control prior to his inspection and I was impressed with his knowledge. Highly recommended. We sold the house with the PPB problem and bought another house in Anacortes. It turned out to have a squirrel in the attic problem which Classic helped us address. They inspected the exterior of the house, sealed access points, helped trap our "house guest" squirrel, and finally restored the insulation in the attic areas where the squirrels had made a home. This took place over a couple of months with several crews involved. Everyone was very helpful and professional. Highly recommended!

I have had the best experience with Classic insulation twice! They sealed my basement and attic areas where I had had constant problems with mice, rats, birds and weasels. I have not had a sign of anything getting in until recently. A few sneaky little mice got into the basement area through the basement garage door which is impossible to seal. (1929 house). Todd showed up and got in there and helped me solve the problem. Gave me great advice and now we are on the way to a rodent free home again. I highly recommend them!

Excellent customer service. We are really happy with the job they did cleaning and reinsulating our crawl space. They did the job quickly with minimal disruption. Now they are keeping it clean with their maintenance plan. We are really happy to have it taken care of.

Justin and his trainee did a great job of spraying for ants and was very informative about the process. Very quick and efficient. Highly recommended.

Great company. Always been a pleasure to work with them. They redid our crawl space about 10 years ago. About 5 years ago we heard noises coming from what sounded like the attic. Turned out to it was just squirrles running around on the roof but they did a through inspection of both the attic and the crawl space. A few weeks ago my wife heard noises in the crawl space. It turned out to be a rabbit in the crawl space access well. The price for the inspection was very reasonable.

Punctual, professional. Used them for nuisance ant problem 2018 & for regular maintenance services since. However, drilled holes in ext. wall to treat nuisance ant problem. It worked, but they left the holes open. Called them this summer because we are going to have house pressure washed. Told we should caulk the holes. Would be expensive to have them do it. Seems like should be part of original service to close holes or done on one of the followup checks.
