I would definitely recommend Jesse James Critter Gitters. We received a thoughtful, professional assessment followed by timely and thorough work. Tyler was professional and informative to work with, and he and Brian provided great service. We had vents (as high as four stories up) appropriately cleared and screened to prevent birds, and wasps/hornets killed and removed and preventative measures incorporated along our terrace.

Called Jesse James Critter Gitters after noticing something digging in a garden bed right next to my HVAC unit. We assumed we had rats burrowing and were bracing for the worst. Tyler came out, did a thorough inspection, and discovered it wasn't rats, just a larger animal digging around for food, with no real threat to the property. He was courteous, respectful, and clearly knew what he was looking at. Straightforward, honest assessment. Will definitely be using them again for any future pest needs. Highly recommend.

I have now been a customer for a couple months with Jesse James Critter Gitters. I work with Tyler primarily as he came out to do my initial inspection and has worked with us on the different options and services. And Cody has lead multiple teams to come out to our house to complete work and installs. I have been super impressed with the full team. First, I admit that I felt unsure paying $99 for the initial assessment. Yet I can tell you that it has been the best investment. I call out multiple companies. And you truly get what you pay for. One company (unnamed) came out and was gone in 5 minutes and sent me a $5k statement of work from one chat and a quick house walk around. Tyler spent well over and hour evaluating our home top to bottom. He took pictures and evaluated every nook and cranny. It was the most helpful assessment as we just moved into the home and didn't even know what to expect. It's a 50 year old home. He was on the roof, in the attic, etc. What is most impressive is that another competitor sent us a +$10k statement of work. I asked Tyler if I needed some of the items they listed. He came back out and showed us why we didn't need screens on certain vents as they already had protection. He was a true thought partner and consultant. Cody and his crews came out and completely top tier work sealing up our entire house. He would offer observations for what was possible and not. We are learning how to fight these critters and they have been so helpful. And when something is outside of their scope or remit they have offered referrals. I super highly recommend Jesse James. The $99 initial fee is the best investment. And their service, pricing, and response/customer support is the best. We plan to work with them for a long time. Even after we seal up we will stay protective to keep the house protected. We have the monthly plan. And Tyler came out ahead of schedule to check the traps. Lots of success means we needed a quicker refresh cycle. And he happily volunteered his time to check us out. Sorry for the long write up. But good service and real team alignment deserves being applauded these days. Its easy to go through the motions. We were referred to Jesse James Critter Gitters by another pest control service and couldn’t be more satisfied with the service that Tyler and Cody have provided. Discovering that rats were freely entering our crawlspace and basement for the first time in 25 years, we went into crisis mode and needed help fast, as we were about to leave town for 3 weeks and had a house sitter scheduled to move in within days. Tyler came out quickly and we were immediately impressed with his professional manner and clear and detailed descriptions of what Jesse James Critter Gitters (great name!) would do. Tyler did a thorough inspection of the interior and exterior perimeter of the crawlspace and basement and identified numerous potential entry points. He generated a very specific workplan on the spot for sealing the entry points and setting up a 2 week trapping and monitoring program. Tyler got the work scheduled immediately and he and Cody completed the work promptly, shortly after we left town. What made our experience with Jesse James Critter Gitters notable was the degree of trust that both Tyler and Cody were able to quickly establish, both with us as well as with our house sitter. We arranged for the house sitter to meet them in person before our departure and she was also immediately comfortable with both Tyler and Cody. The three of them efficiently coordinated half a dozen visits while we were away and everything proceeded smoothly. Most importantly, we were able to leave town confident that we had left the situation in good hands and were able to enjoy a stress-free vacation. There have been no rodent incursions or activity in the crawlspace or basement since we hired Jesse James Critter Gitters and would certainly hire them again if we have problems in the future!

Horrible customer service and terrible service that was not thorough at all. If I could give the company zero stars I would. It’s extremely frustrating to pay $500 for an incomplete service that only took the technician 40 minutes and did not get the job done. Subsequently, I persistently called, left voicemails and emailed for 2 weeks letting them know of my issue and they kept giving me the run around. It’s unfortunate because they were so quick to get me scheduled to take my money but when I told them they obviously didn’t do the job I paid for, they have been completely ghost. Because of the nature of the situation and the health hazard, I had to call another company to fix the faulty job they did. The new company is excellent, great customer service and I will recommend them to everyone with any similar issues as well as my HOA because we have wildlife issues is my neighborhood quite often. Companies like Jesse James do not care about customers… customers who work hard NOT to throw away money! I do not write reviews often so when I do it’s because I value my dollar and do not want others taking advantage. Sadly, I was referred to Jesse James by another company who could not get to me sooner so I’ll have to also let them know about my experience so others do not have my same fate! And do not lie and say you were not given access to the interior of the house as a response to my initial review. If you would’ve called me back or responded to my emails - had a conversion about any of this you would have heard the truth. Review our invoice that states exactly what we said no to - upcharges your technician tried to sell us for exterior gates around the vents. This is exactly why your customer service is horrible. You as the owner weren’t even respectful enough to respond and let me know hey this is what my technician told me but what actually happened? Again, absolutely horrible - all around hands down despicable service and an even more terrible leader who would rather hide behind a computer and lie on the internet than face the truth!

Crew performed the service in a good workmanlike manner, tidy work with good attention to detail and cleaned up when work complete

A fox sadly perished on the side of our home. As heartbreaking as it was, we knew it needed removed due to the smell and overall health risk. Animal control nor other companies would remove it (a no from AC because too decomposed to test for rabies, other companies a no because of rabies risk despite decomp [??]). Anyways, I gave a call in the morning and Cody was able to get to our home and remove the fox within hours of me calling. Really, really rapid service. Thanks again.

After working with other companies unsuccessfully, we were relieved to finally find a true expert in rodent control. Tyler was able to help us identify the entry points for a longstanding rodent problem in our attic. His inspection was incredibly thorough, even covering very hard to reach places in our attic and crawlspace. He found all the issues others had missed. He explained and documented everything in a very detailed manor, and was professional in all of his visits to the house to set and check traps. 5/5 stars!

We found a copperhead while cleaning out my Mother’s basement. Fortunately, after calling around, we found Jesse James Critter Gitters. Their pricing, immediate availability, and excellent customer service made them the clear choice. Jake arrived within the hour and handled the situation with professionalism and expertise. The entire process was seamless, efficient, and entirely stress-free. While we hope our basement adventures are over, they will be our very first call if we ever need backup again. Jake is an absolute hero.

Jake at the wild life removal company did an excellent job! He removed a big snake outside in my lower deck. Also he provided me very helpful information to help prevent issues around the house living close to a wooded area. I signed maintenance company today after the snake removal. I highly recommend!

Jake came out to check out the chipmunk and bird problem at the front of my house. He was super knowledgeable and upfront with everything. Gave a very detailed walkthrough of what they would do and how it was done. Very professional and personable. Would highly recommend having him come out to address your critter concerns.

Jake was awesome! He was extremely polite and friendly. He took his time to answer our questions and educated us on critter management. He shared his years of knowledge so we could better understand how critters (mice) get into our house and their habits. We will definitely be contacting Critter Gitters again when the need arises.

Jake was great! He gave me a heads up on his arrival and was on time. He explained what he was doing (dead bird and nest removal from exhaust vent) and why. Never imagined so much bird nesting could come out of a vent. Jake cleaned up when he was finished. We had a great experience and would use them again but hope we don’t need to.
