Eric, Hugo and their team were outstanding. We had an extremely large job. They started with a dirt lot. We ended up with a park. We still can’t get over how well it turned out. It consisted of concrete work, boulder work, electrical, pavers, sod, trees, deck, pavilion, a play area, lighting, fencing and a fire pit. Everything exceeded expectations. This was a brilliant example of value engineering. A beautiful space within budget. Everyone was courteous and respectful. They cleaned up at the end of each day. We would recommend Millburn without hesitation.

Me
I recently purchased a home and I decided to add a seating area to the existing fire pit. I reached out to Millburn Lawn & Landscape cause after look at there website I thought they could do a good job. I called and spoke to the woman that works there, I believe her name was Jennifer. She described the steps are first Jon would come out and assess the area and draft a design for the fire pit area. Next Eric comes out to view the site and go over details. Finally, the job would be scheduled to start. Quick fact. The design created by Jon cost $700. So, I scheduled the first consultation with Jon. I provided pictures and examples of what I was looking for. He was great. He explained the cost of different materials and rocks and the pros and cons of each material. We went over additional options, based on my budget which was $5k. I clearly communicated to Jon that my budget was $5k. I was charged $700 for the design. Next step is I will receive a copy of the design and Eric will coordinate with me to come out and review the site and discuss details. Weeks pass and silence. I call and speak with Jennifer to get a status. I also informed her of my budget. I was told that they have solutions for all budgets and Eric would work with me to fit the project within my budget. Weeks later and I call again because I haven't heard from Eric or their office. Days pass and a meeting is scheduled with Eric. Eric assesses the site and sends me the quote including all options. The quote was around $15k. This was expected as I had several options. I responded to Eric and requested he provide a new quote with the options removed. During the consultation we agreed to modify the quote as needed. I told him my budget and I haven't heard back from Millburn. So, I call and ask for a status. I was asked if I received the quote. I informed Jennifer that I received the quote and responded. A month past. After July 4, I called to close the loop with these folks. I started this conversation with Millburn back in May. I haven't heard from these folks in months. So, I call Jennifer and I was candid and asked if they would tell me if they just really busy or if they have decided not to take my business because of my budget. Jennifer tells me Eric is out but will be back tomorrow. Of course, I haven't heard back from Millburn. I'm just saying

As a member of our condo association board, I was involved in choosing a landscaping company for our community after we had gone without one for quite some time. We considered several companies, including some that came highly recommended, but Millburn stood out because they had such a strong number of positive reviews. They were also the most affordable option, which honestly made me hesitate at first, I wondered whether choosing the lowest bid might mean sacrificing quality. I’m so glad we gave them a chance, because they have completely exceeded our expectations! From their very first day, they came in with a large, hardworking team and completely transformed the property. Our complex desperately needed attention, and they truly cleaned house. They trimmed, cleared, cleaned up, and tackled everything with an impressive level of efficiency and care. Since then, their weekly maintenance has been consistently phenomenal. They are also incredibly responsive and accommodating. Whenever we have a specific request or suggestion, they handle it promptly and always with a positive attitude. Every community has its own preferences and learning curves, especially one with longtime residents who are accustomed to things being done a certain way like ours, and the Millburn team has shown so much patience, flexibility, and professionalism in working with us. What truly prompted me to write this review, though, is how genuinely kind every member of their team is. They smile, wave, hold doors, make sure they are not inconveniencing anyone, and are quick to apologize if they think they may have gotten in someone’s way. They are friendly, respectful, thoughtful, and consistently have wonderful attitudes. You don’t always expect to build that kind of warm rapport with a landscaping crew, but they genuinely feel like a welcome part of our community. It is rare to find a company that provides excellent work at a fair price while also placing such a high value on kindness and customer service. We are incredibly impressed with Millburn and could not be happier that we chose them.

I never leave reviews, but I was so impressed and pleased with how my project turned out that I have to share! TL; DR - Please give them a call! You won’t be disappointed! See my before and after photos for proof! I found Millburn Lawn & Landscape through a random Google search after a different company never responded to us after accepting their bid. Millburn was very responsive and enthusiastic, even though it was a small residential project. The design process was very fun! John understood my vision immediately and created a design to match. Eric, the owner, personally walked through the entire project with us and helped me choose water-wise trees, shrubs, and perennials. He also gave me information to get water-wise rebates back from the local water conservancy district! Eric’s crew was very detailed-oriented and did not cut any corners. For the amount of work that had to be completed, they worked efficiently and professionally. They were dependable and started on time. We completed the project within a day or two of Eric’s original estimate, and that included a few days of delay when I asked them for several changes. I have worked with many contractors over the years that I’ve owned a home, and most of those projects have left me not wanting to do other projects around my house. Eric and his crew have completely changed that perspective. I cannot recommend them enough and I will continue to use their other services, including yearly maintenance and winterization.

Milburn Landscaping (Eric) has just completed a fairly large landscaping project for my back and side yards, and we are very happy with the work done. I highly recommend this company. It required a little bit of patience to get the project estimated and scheduled due to the time of year I began. Once scheduled, they showed up exactly as planned, and worked very hard continuously until completion. They put in extra time, and finished within just a few days. I found Eric to be very helpful in creating ideas and presenting workable solutions. His crew was meticulous in their work and in their clean-up. Extras added on after the work began, were no problem for them at all. Their sprinkler set-up person was very resourceful, knowledgeable, and persistent. I do not feel that their pricing was outrageous, because I felt like I got exactly what I paid for. Thank you Eric.

Millburn Lawn and Landscape knocked it out of the park on my backyard, fence, and sprinkler blowout. The backyard turned out exactly how I hoped, the fence was done clean and solid, and the sprinkler blowout was quick and stress free. Communication was easy the whole way and they clearly know what they’re doing. Everything was done right the first time and you can tell they care about quality. I’d highly recommend them to anyone needing landscaping or yard work done.
