Came across the owner of this business while I was trying to use an ATM on a friday morning. Apparently no one can use the ATM at the bank when he's around because he got really aggressive, red in the face and yelled at me to move my car. Called me some names. I laughed because it was funny how mad he was about having to wait 30 seconds for my cash to withdraw. Sorry man, people need to use the ATM at their banks on fridays.

Custom Grounds does a great job with my yard maintenance. They offer great add ons including sprinkler maintenance, and aeration. They are easy to get ahold of for my questions and additional service issues, and leave my yard looking great every week

This is my first season using CGL for my yard & pest control. They have taught me there is so much more to having healthy grass than just watering, fertilizing & cutting it. You need to treat it for specific bugs and weeds as well as the proper watering schedule and the list goes on & on. The team at CGL educates you on those items, and then shows you amazing results. I get detailed answers to my questions quickly, and I ask a lot of them. When They come out to spray they don't just show up, spray and leave. They look at your lawn, see if they need to do anything extra, mix anything special to take care of your specific yard. They make recommendations that are valued and educated. I now get to enjoy cutting my weed free GREEN grass 2 times a week. I AM VERY OCD about my yard and these folks exceed all expectations! I will always recommend these guys whenever possible. You can't find a better lawn care company! 10 out of 5 stars!

It’s sad that I write this and it has nothing to do with their work, but they have some extremely rude & unprofessional employees. I had one today barely let me in to change lanes driving down Redwood and then Immediately cut me off, and once he was up next to me and made sure I could see him, flip me off. Hopefully their work is better than their road rage & unprofessional childish actions.

OOF! Got cut off on the road by one of the work trucks. Proceeded to call the phone number listed on the side. The first time, I got hung up on immediately, the second time, straight to voicemail. ( I left a colorful one as you could imagine ) I then got the texts you'll see below! Needless to say, I filed a complaint with the BBB. Apparently this owner David's attitude is worse than his driving.

We have been using Custom Grounds for months and it has been fantastic! We live in a community with a strict HOA and they work around all the rules without any complaints. Previous lawn companies I've used were flaky and would skip weeks if it rained. This has been the rainiest season in a long time and they haven't missed a single service. They can process online payments and are extremely responsive. I promise it's not worth the headache to use a "friend of a friend" when you can get this kind of reliability.

Custom grounds is fantastic! We bounced around trying a few different companies after moving here a year ago but now we stick with them. They’re reliable & honest upfront pricing is exactly what I look for when getting any services done. We mainly get lawn care applications from him so far but if I ever have a question or need help with anything regarding my lawn he is very knowledgeable & helpful! Which I am very grateful for. You can’t go wrong using this company 👍🏻

Custom Grounds Landscaping is tremendous! They were punctual, reliable and worked tirelessly to revive our overgrown, neglected landscaping. All of the quoted yard care services were performed with every professional courtesy and no shortcuts were taken. They are so great to work with, they will get our yard care business from now on.
