As always, Southwest Exterminators is my go-to for pest control. For whatever reason, I get a lot of spiders around my house and Southwest keeps them away. As a home inspector, I also recommend them to my clients. I don't recommend any contractor that I don't trust and I trust Southwest.

Eric and his team are amazing. I have hired the pest-bros and their companies and there is always something that either goes wrong or the service is not as effective as I think it should be. I call up Southwest and not only does he educate me, but he solves the problem. I honestly think no one else is as knowledgeable or educated in the pest industry in Southern Utah. It is one thing to know how to treat pests, it is an entirely different thing to know why pests act the way they do and then treat that. I kid you not, Eric studied the ants on my counter...watching them to see when they were marking their path. Who does that!? A pest assassin, that's who. I understand that everyone has their preferences, but you should at least give Southwest a call to get their opinion. Best case scenario, hire them. You won't regret it.

Dean came out the same day that we called to spray our newly purchased house. He was fantastic. Personable and friendly and went right to work. We haven’t seen any more spiders or scorpions either !!

I have used Southwest exterminators for several issues in the past few years. they are fast to respond and their techniques work to eliminate the pests that we encountered. Other exterminators did not want to help us or we had to wait weeks for a service. Highly recommend for SW Utah pest issues. Update:12/1/24 - Needed help with a fast mole infiltration into our backyard. They responded quickly and said they would do a followup inspection. Caught 3 gophers Great service - highly recommend

We've used Southwest Exterminators for several years now. They arrive when scheduled, they are flexible regarding where to spray, and the applications work as promised. We would have given five stars, but we've recently found that you need to ask if they are going to "be in the area" before scheduling a time. We didn't do that and found out the hard way that there is a $45 travel fee that was not discussed when we scheduled. And it's nearly impossible to reach them by phone to remedy anything. Overall: great service with those caveats that can be avoided with a simple question when you schedule.

This company was providing services for my elderly mother. As far as I know, she was happy with their service. However, she kept getting bills and had no idea that they came by and provided any service. All she wanted to do was speak to somebody on the phone. Every time she called, it was either a voicemail or nobody would answer. Only way they would communicate was through text message and email. I experienced the same thing when I tried to call. I think I was routed to some national call center. I asked for somebody to call me back and I haven't heard from anybody as of yet. After my mother expressed her concerns, somebody on the other end of the text thread replied "I'll be happy to take you off my list. You have been very difficult to work with". Not very professional in my opinion. All she wanted to know was how much she owed and a heads up when they came by to provide the service.

Eric of South West Exterminator is someone I can count on to do the job right and is very knowledgeable and experienced. It’s nice to know that I’m in good hands and can trust that I’m getting the best service in town.

If you are looking for pest control services, please look elsewhere. I had a technician come to my home in May 2022 to exterminate some rodents in my attic, he "set traps" and told me he would be back to check on them in a couple of weeks, it's now nearly January 2023 and I haven't heard from anyone at the company. I have left three voicemails with no response from anybody at Southwest exterminators. It's too bad I am leaving this review because the first visit went great and the service tech was very nice.

Do not use this company! We paid several hundred dollars for Christmas lights with the understanding that they would store them and put them up each year. They did so the first year, but did not the next year. We kept calling and were told it would happen, but it did not. We asked for the lights we had paid for and were told we would get them. We did not and now we do not hear from them. They have always been slow to respond to messages and have not been reliable.

I was told that the majority of the private community I purchased a home in used this company. I have called and called and left message after message and have never received a return call if that's any indication of their services they provide I wouldn't even bother calling them.

At first I was pretty happy with their service. The gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. I used their service for a few months and was pretty happy with them. At the end of summer I decided to cancel because I was paying $47 monthly and decided I could save money by treating my house myself. So the next time they texted to set up an appointment I politely messaged back that I wanted to cancel my service. I got a response confirming what I wanted. However I continued to get texts asking to schedule my next appointment and I just ignored them. Then one day a technician shows up at my house when I wasn’t home. My mother answered the door and he told her that he confirmed an appointment with me which was untrue. My mother called me to double check and She put me on the phone with him and I told him to leave. His response was that he already started treatment and already charged my credit card! I was livid because every time I received treatment I always got an invoice by email and then paid it. They never automatically charged my card before. I didn’t even know they kept my card information on file. Anyway I called and left a message about my experience and expressed my frustration and disappointment with this technicians dishonesty and never got a response or any kind of apology. Anyway beware before you decide to use their service. Not happy!

We called Southwest Exterminators about spot treating for a termite problem. The technician gave us an estimate of $350 and set an appointment to do the job a few days later. He was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He did not show up at the scheduled time. I called and left a message wondering what had happened. No one called me back. I called again the next day and again, didn’t hear back. After leaving numerous more messages, I called again and someone did pick up the phone. He was very apologetic and said he’d talk to the technician and get right back to me. No call back. We then called Dixie Pest Control. The job was done quickly and efficiently and we were charged $80! They used the exact same chemical that SouthWest said they would be using. All in all, the fact that SouthWest didn’t call back saved us $270!!
