Preventive Pest has continuously shown its professionalism in the staff that comes by to the house for service appointments. My encounter with Mr Matthew Wondolleckwas no exception. He was polite, courteous, informative & really knows his 'pests'. He has also shown integrity & honesty when performing his tasks in my home. The pests in the vicinity of my home don't stand a chance of infesting my home when I have Preventive Pest!!

Miguel was great! He took the time to explain his plan to tackle the scorpion issue I was having at my house and walked me through each step that would take place.

Started w/ Preventative with bait stations in my yard and was told that this is the way to keep rodents from entering my attic. Didn’t work, so we signed a 100% guaranteed contract with traps in attic and HOA added common area bait stations. Today during visit, nothing in attic, but tech informed us that he will only visit 2 more times and it’s not his fault if he can’t locate a small hole where rodents can access. Also stated that contract is not guaranteed unless bait stations and traps are used at the same time. Even though this review indicates 1 star they are undeserving. After months of working on this problem, tech Jorge stated he’s bringing cameras next week. Instead Mgr Mick Walker also came and said he’s giving up and said to find a better exterminating company.

There also seems to be confusion about the rodent stations. Those are to help monitor and control the population and deter rodents from entering the property, but never would have been sold as a promise that rodents would NEVER enter. I also apologize if there was confusion on what was covered under the guarantee, but most of the services we provided should not have been covered; they were done simply to help out. We performed many more services than what was paid for as a courtesy to you. Additional weeks of trapping services were provided and additional exclusion work that was not included in the original quote was completed. With a very persistent issue such as yours, there is sometimes something being missed so a fresh set of eyes may help to find what was missed. This is only the 2nd time that we have had to offer this up, and Mick stated that if someone else came to inspect, we would cover the cost of those final repairs. Our estimate is that $1000 of free services were provided and we wanted to get a 2nd opinion to help resolve this issue.
I’ve been with preventive pest for about 20 years. They used to be sooo good! Ever since they sold out and relocated their headquarters in Vegas, they have gone way down hill. Can’t seem to hire decent employees that do a good job. They have one good employee, named Clayton but I can’t always get him. I have cameras on my property and have watched them do a very sub par job. Talking on the phone the whole time ….not paying attention to what they are doing. They used to look for spider webs and knock them down and I thought it was standard to use the hose from the truck on the exterior to get good coverage and use the smaller backpack pump to do the inside. They have been using the back pack on inside and outside for the last 3 times. And not doing the granules in the yard and raised the price that I was guaranteed for a lifetime not to go up. I will be switching. I’ve seen enough

Wasn't very respectful of our yard. Pulled the hose through the flowering bushes causing them to break and fall into pool. Also when pulling hose removed some large rocks from our perimeter and didn't bother to pick up afterwards. He is the only tech that has done this in the last almost 7 years. Sprays our sliding glass doors, the base, this leaves water marks which are very hard to remove especially in the HEAT. He needs to have a little etiquette and respect.
Still frustrated by my path lights being disturbed and damaged.

I would like them to come back to my home in Dammeron Valley. Two days after they performed the bug service, I still have live spiders, beetles, scorpions and bugs. Come back and reservice our home.

Used to work really well about a year ago but seems they changed product or SOMETHING because I’m still seeing bugs in and out of my house.
