Tyson was very professional, he did an excellent job spraying inside and out. I have had a lot of spraying companies over the years, but none of the technicians have been as good as Tyson. Please have Tyson and only Tyson come to my house in the future.

Jonathan performed a great service for us. He showed up upon time and was very respectful of our property, both insight and outside the home. He extensively covered our yard with both spray and pellets, really go on above and beyond I think to make sure the coverage was beyond adequate.

they might be the best pest control company in the whole world, but the driver that lives in my neighborhood sucks so I would not use them.

Don’t bother they are very unprofessional, the first session was great but after that it went down hill. They reschedule last minute or will mark that they completed your service or knocked at your door when they did not. The last two session I had to call them to come back and spray under there “free service” since it was with In 2-4 weeks since they had sprayed and I still had an issue with insects. I decided to cancel them but had to do one last service with them due to contract and they wore so rude to me just because I was choosing to part ways. I just think they need to better train there team and be consistent when spraying homes. And the phone reps need to improve in their customer service.

In October 2023, I called and asked them to redo the service as they didn’t do it and we have many pest because of this. I asked to let me know when they are coming so I am home to ensure that service is as they said as this is what we agreed and they started to come when we are not home and the service is not as per contract. Today, July 17 is 2024, we observed that our home got infested by many pests and my husband checked the account to see what it is going on. We found out that they stopped coming without letting us know. I can only say WOW as I have no other words for the poor service offered by this company. We are going somewhere else. I checked the latest reviews and it looks like they are all one star. Something happened one year ago and the company’s service is poor and not what was for many years. July 20 follow up I understand that you changed your system. However, from October till March are two quarters when the agreement with you is to come each quarter. And we listen to our home phone records and we didn’t have them as I will call you, because we agreed that I will be home for the service. I appreciate the you called me after you saw my review below and that this Friday you did take care inside and outside of our home and sprayed it. The person that came was very polite, as usual. For now, I will not change my review while I will give you the opportunity to fix your service and rebuild the trust with us and will go from there.

Company overcharged. When I showed them receipts they refused to refund. I canceled service. They continually hound me with texts phone calls and knocks on my door. I have asked them multiple times through documented conversations to stop. I recommend not doing business with them.

Preventative Pest came out a few months ago and treated our poplar trees which are over 90' tall with an iron treatment. 2 are mostly dead now. Not happy! I have contacted them previously when we had new bushes die due to insects if some sort killing them, even though they have treated for insects. I pretty much got lip service and no further contact. I will reach out about these trees, but I am not confident anything will happen. The middle tree in the pic below is the quickly dying one.

We appreciate your patience in this matter and strive to provide a better service for our customers.<br><br>To help Deb out on the trees, we paid for an arborist to come out and diagnose what was causing the poplar trees to die. The arborist said they have been dying a slow death for a few years from the xylem in the tree no longer transferring nutrients up the tree. Deb was using another company for the last few years on her tree but this year she had us treat them in March. We credited her back for the tree treatment after receiving the report from the arborist and knowing she didn’t receive the full benefit.
Stay away from this company. They didn't bother to ring my door bell for interior work. They charged $461 for a year. This company works like a Gym, with a membership. They charged me 60% of what was left on our 1 year contract when I called to cancel my services. I had service with another company prior to this company who DID NOT charge me to cancel my service
I have been using preventive for about a year. Everything was fine till it wasn’t. I had owned on a pass bill. So I set up a payment to come out. They called saying I owed. Talked to the lady.. she looked said never mind. That payment never came out. Now owning more money. Because I didn’t get a message or invoice for 2 months. They are saying they entered my home. On a date I know I wasn’t home. But heaven forbid that’s what there tracker says. They said they sprayed out said which I can’t prove . They usually leave a card but I didn’t get one at this time! It’s very frustrating it he said she said. I really like this company till I didn’t .
After being a customer for many years, I have to leave Preventive. They were good @ the service I paid them for, but something has happened. Unbelievable bad service 2022. Preventive charges w/o notice or authorization and failed to do services AFTER Paying In Full for a year. Simply saying “We’re Sorry” for charges AFTER I paid in full for a year or service because Preventive changes rates AFTER payment for a year is simply an unfair business practice? You pay for a service, in full, several months later they increase the price for the service you ALREADY paid for and charge you for the change 10 months later? They claimed they notified all clients. I asked for proof of communication, they searched and cannot find. “We’re sorry”. I paid in full for Tree Service 01.2022. It never happened. They advised me of this in November. “We’re sorry”. What else have they not done that I paid them for? “Sorry” does not instill, or replace Trust. Never again with Preventive.
RED RED FLAG!!!! please save yourself the headache & DO NOT use this company! My husband decided to use it because family referred them. The biggest red flag to me was when they claim to show up & spray while we weren't home & left a card saying what was done & I was home!! They didn't service our home at all. We have the employee on camera walking to our door leaving the card & driving away. They did this several times. The biggest indicator of no service being done besides being caught on camera is that the spiders, spider webs, wasps & ants were still around! I told my husband to cancel with them because of this. He did but then some how we still owe them for one more service. Which is laughable because they didn't service our home. Their billing is insane. So my husband tried to work it out with them & in the end began service again with them, & now we are constantly being billed a past amount (for service that was never done) in addition to current service. When we began service again with them it was a zero balance, yet we still get billed a past amount. Just don't waste your money with them. Find another reputable, honest, customer service friendly company. I hate that he even gave them a second chance! Never again.
Don't waste your money on this. First time my house got sprayed the tech was there for less than 2 minutes. When done, he told me to sign a paper that was said to be a receipt but ended up being a contract. I called in to cancel the next visit and said I would call to reschedule it but the guy came to my house anyway and according to my husband who was home it was only outside and lasted for less than two minutes AGAIN. I get home and there was a note saying I owe 80 dollars for the service so I called in and the receptionist told me I never canceled the appointment and that I would either have to pay 192 dollars to cancel my account or pay the 80 dollars for the 2 minute service. I would gladly pay for all appointments if I felt like they were effective but right now I just feel like I was scamed.
