So far they have been terrific …had a bug issue and responded as fast as posssible …jeramiah my tech in murfreesboro is wonderful….if i see bugs between services he will come back and spray …no complaints so far

Terrible customer service. What started as a simple one-mouse problem quickly turned into a much bigger infestation because the issue was never properly handled. Even worse, after years of contracts with them at multiple locations, they chose to send our bill to collections without ever contacting us to discuss it first. No call, no conversation, no attempt to resolve anything — just straight to collections. Completely unprofessional and a terrible way to treat long-time customers. I would not recommend North West Exterminators to anyone.
Very thorough, very personable, local servicer listens and responds to questions, and is very professional. They also service the “in wall” pest control systems.

They are in the habit of jacking up their prices by %10 every January. I just called the number listed to cancel and they said they will let the local office know. I am getting a run around already.

Northwest is always on time, and their service is very extensive. The technician calls before he comes, checks to see if we have specific problems, cleans out all of the external spider webs, and checks back in before he leaves. A-1 service.

This company sent an envelope to my home via USPS requiring a signature. I had to go to the post office and waste an hour of my day just to sign to receive their junk mail. Our postal carrier ran out of the pink slips to put on people's doors letting them know of a package held at the post office. Would never consider doing business with them as a result.

After being a loyal Northwest customer for 15 years, I have been advised by this office that my new home in Winchester, TN is not in their service area allegedly due to staffing issues. If that is how a loyal customer is treated, I will take my business elsewhere rather than waiting for my service area to be covered by this office. Thanks for responding to my loyalty.
Called to cancel service on April 7 at 9:58ET with actual proof of that phone call still in my call history. We were charged for a service on April 3 we didn't need but I failed to cancel in time. I saw we were charged again on July 7. I called to remind them of cancellation but "we have no records." Tammy(?) said she cancelled my service this time but who knows. I am contacting my credit card company now and providing them with the phone log so hopefully they can charge back. We moved back in March and no longer needed service. NW exterminators seemed fine as we never had problem with termites, in an area were termites were problematic, but now will not recommend.

Three trips in 3 weeks and I still had spiders and bugs. We paid for extra treatment but they were ineffective. We would call for re-treatment on Monday and they “fit us in” on Friday…after 3 tries we cancelled
Contract with NW provided by the builder for termites. As the one year inspection came up they claimed they inspected the house and I just did not see them, tried three times to actually see/speak with the Tech. Yard is open (old grazing field, no trees) and I was outside the entire time, with 16 stations to check at a minimum they could not have checked them all without me seeing them as I was outside waiting for them. IF they did come, they could not have spent enough time to do a complete job otherwise I would have seen them. Transferred the servicing to a local company who has provided excellent service and results.

I would like to say this to start out communication is key. Secondly the service was below average and after seeing the little to no work being done I was like I can do that my self. I live in a newly built home so bugs in general are not much of a problem. The thing that really aggravated me is the lack of getting all the spiderwebs down. I understand they can only go up so high I get it but we are talk front porch back porch. One time I had them come out 1day later after they serviced my house to redo getting the spider webs down. So now I do it my self and have no problem. Point is if the customer your servicing have to do the job them self’s then we don’t need you. The second part of this company is lack of communication when it comes to the service you’re receiving. I also have the termite bate stations. When we came up to the time we had to renew the termite stations it wasn’t explained that this was a quarterly payment. The builder that built my house pay the first year. So when I renewed my termite I was under the impression that it was just a payment for the year. I found out about this yesterday because a couple of days ago I canceled the pest control service and was going to just keep the termite station that was a yearly cost. The lady I spoke to was really rude as I tried to understand why I’m having to pay quarterly for the termite station. Not knowing anything about them because again communication wasn’t a thing. The first year they never even looked at them. So I didn’t understand why I hade to pay a quarterly fee. So as the lady on they phone continued to be rude I completely cancelled everything. I tried to explain to her that I was never told it was a quarterly fee on top of the fee to renew. She kept over talking me and not listening to what I was trying to seek to understand. So customer service in my opinion was horrible and someone should really look into this person taking care of your customers. Anyway I’m just going to do it all my self because it seems most pest control company are the same. You could have made that not be the case if only you fully communicated better to the customers and have a full breakdown of what the service is your paying for. Hopefully this info will help your company in customer service and other customers make the right decisions on who they want to service their house.
Did a horrible job must of sprayed my exterior with water. Reps will try to down play things with the hopes you have no knowledge of this industry. Also, despite these bait stations & bait are included in my contract to buy this property they stated since I'm canceling services they are coming to take the bait & bait stations (which has already been paid for)....smh your flex to get me to stay ain't working so come take your stuff you claim to own and don't come back ever. Beware out there bc if this is how they deal with new customers then your better off going with someone else especially since they are out here claiming to do work but as you can tell it wasn't done properly if even at all.
EDIT: after being with Northwest for 4 months, we have canceled service in favor of another company. Not only was it difficult to communicate with them, but it turns out other companies will do a more comprehensive service for an equal or lower cost. They also quoted attic insulation for me, unprompted, and 3 times the cost of a local insulation company that we ultimately used. My impression is that this company is in it just for the money. I did not feel as though they cared about our pest control needs or followed through on the service we agreed on. They also seemed to have recurring “technology issues” that were the reason they were unable to communicate with us. I would recommend looking elsewhere for your pest control needs.

I do not use Northwest but my next-door neighbor does. Their tech removed a wasp nest but seemingly did not spray/kill a noticeable number of the displaced wasps. Now the remainder of the them are flying around my yard and back porch. I called customer service - who was very polite - who called the tech, who said that if I waited a day or two, the wasps should go away. Pest control is too expensive for jobs to be done poorly. Edit: It’s been four days and there are even more wasps and they seem to be building a new nest. Changed to 1 star. Also attached a new photo.
