TJ was a huge help dealing with our yellowjacket issue. We've used other pest control services before, but this was the first time anybody explained WHY we got yellowjackets (so we could prevent them from returning.) Spoiler alert, they were using the weathered wood from an old patio lounger to build nests. Easy enough to fix. Thanks TJ!

JJ the Technician arrived on time, appeared to be expert in his knowledge of tree / shrub fertilization and pest control, and applied the chemicals with the utmost respect for my property.

UPDATE July 2025 (in addition to original lawncare review) Exceptional Hardscape Service from TomBom I recently had the pleasure of working with Connor from Tomlinson Bomberger on a potential hardscape project for my home.  The cost of installing a hardscape patio were fair and reasonable - - not overinflated like with other companies.  Although I ultimately decided not to move forward with the installation due to the cost being an overinvestment for my current neighborhood, I felt compelled to share my experience because the level of service I received was truly outstanding. From the start, Connor was incredibly professional, patient, and attentive. He took the time to understand my specific needs and preferences and created a detailed project plan that reflected everything we discussed. His deep knowledge of the products and installation process was evident, and he never once made me feel rushed or pressured. I genuinely felt valued as a potential customer, which is something that's becoming increasingly rare. During a recent trip to Florida, I saw Unilock pavers installed around my son's pool deck, and they were absolutely beautiful—only making my decision more difficult. If my home were in a different price bracket, I wouldn’t have hesitated to move forward with the project. For years I had seen Tomlinson Bomberger trucks at a handful of homes in my neighborhood. At times I would stop and talk with the men applying products to lawns. They were always super professional and very open to what they were applying. This year, I had become very frustrated with my lawn. Especially being the person who put in more work and effort than anyone else in the neighborhood. I enjoy doing things myself which included treating my own lawn. I placed a phone call to Tomlinson Bomberger to inquire about a lawn treatment plan. I liked that they are a local business and not commercialized. I have also paid attention to the lawns that they’ve treated in my neighborhood and the end results are very consistent; beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised on the overall cost compared to what it would cost me to purchase Scott’s products and apply them myself. I committed to a plan and so far I am very happy with the results. Great company, friendly and knowledgable staff. I would recommend them to anyone.

I do not usually give reviews. I have always been skeptical if lawn companies due to previous bad experiences. My sister had gone turn multiple companies when she finally met and now use Tomlinson and Bomberger!!!!!!. I have always bee skeptical due to high costs and sales people selling to their commissions and not your benefits or needs For the second time I’ve been proven soooo wrong by Tomlinson and Bomberger!!!!! Their associate walked me thru multiple options and explained the benefit and why they start with weed control and build from there. The took a soil sample and had it tested at Pennstate. If you look at the attached pictures: the fist 3 pics are my lawn. You will take notice to the deep green color and no weeds. The rest of the pics show the difference between my neighbor who does not have treatment and you will see the light green color and all the weeds in his lawn. By my driveway if you zoom in you will see today’s tire tracks from treatment and you will go above them and I’ll see how his yard looks. I wish I would have taken pictures during march, April beginning of may when we had all the rain and how lush our yard really is. Anyone that walks by always comments about how nice our yard looks. I will be a life long customer!!!!!

This is one of the best customer service experiences you'll ever get! A friend recommended them to me for pest control. I'm so grateful, they saved my garage and a couple of trees from carpenter ants. Then I found out they did tree trimming as well, and trust when I say they are very reasonable, have awesome communication, and are super quick with their estimates. Best all around with communication and efficiency!
