We have been with them over 10 years and they are awesome! They do listen and explain everything. They are professional and very helpful. We get outside preventative maintenance. Before Covid we did both inside and outside

Called them to take care of a wasp nest that was up pretty high on a condo we manage. They explained everything in detailed, were out the next day, and called to confirm and follow up. Highly recommend. Great company and customer service

This company has been wonderful so far! Got an appointment in a very timely manner and everything was well explained prior to the appointment. The office staff is lovely. The owner came out for the initial inspection and explained everything in detail. Very friendly and will only recommend what is truly needed. There was no forced upselling or pressure. Pricing is very affordable IMO—especially as a quarterly service. Highly recommend this small business if you’re in the Harrisburg area!

He educated us and made the experience feel more than just a transaction; he was there to truly help. I had a wonderful experience with Penn Pest, specifically with Rodger. We had a mice problem in our attic. Rodger took the time to explain everything to me. I learned a lot about mice and also a lot about my house. I am so appreciative of all the info he gave me. He set out some bait and gave me peace of mind. What a great local company. The price was very reasonable. I would 100% recommend.

Buying and moving into a new house brings all sorts of unknowns, especially when it comes to pests. Thankfully, we found Penn Pest! Roger came out and did a walkthrough of our home, talked us through from start to finish what he recommended, assured us that the products he’d use would cause no harm to us or our pets, and answered our MANY questions. He even gave us some advice when looking to upgrade parts of our 1920s home - this man is a jack of all trades! Penn Pest is a perfect example of why we skip the big commercial names and go to the locally owned places. The customer service is unmatched and the time and attention he provided us is not something you find everywhere these days. Thank you to Roger and everyone at Penn Pest for top-notch service! As much as we hope we don’t need you again, know you’ll have repeat customers in the event we do!

Very good people and excellent service. I called with a problem, and instead of trying to sell me an annual service subscription like most other pest businesses, they simply explained the proper way to fix the issue. They didn't try to sell me anything, just literally tried to help. These people should be your first call for any pest problems. I can definitely recommend them to anyone.

Highly recommended! A local owned and operated company who knows his stuff about ants. Does not push unnecessary spraying, reasonable price.

These guys are very nice and extremely knowledgeable. They took care of two different ant problems for me, years apart. Both times they were successful in taking care of the problem. I didn't see an ant in the house for years after their first visit. Worth every penny.

Updated reply: Actually, the issue was with the service- both physically and verbally. I didn’t need to give details but now I feel compelled to explain due to the reply to my review. In 11 years as a loyal regular quarterly customer and 3 changing technicians servicing my home, I did receive good service. Every visit I moved my furniture away from the walls and I was thanked for making it easy to spray the perimeters indoors as it should be when you’re receiving treatments otherwise what would they spray? Sadly this July 2022, a new and 4th technician came who did not spray the floor perimeters. Upon my contacting your office to INQUIRE (not complain) why this time my service was different & how it could be corrected, I received a defensive response on the phone that I should not be moving furniture and that’s my fault for doing so, that some people don’t want their wood floors sprayed - my whole house is wood flooring if I didn’t want it sprayed I wouldn’t be getting treatments for 11 years, and that your short staffed so a redo can’t be provided. If a new tech made a mistake and is still learning, even that explanation would be reasonable and understandable to me because we’ve all had to learn at new jobs. I don’t blame the tech for not knowing, he was a nice & polite person just didn’t do the job the way I was used to and I said this to you. but instead I was defensively told that he was trained by the owner and my house should have been serviced the same way the owner would have done it and that she would inquire with him and get back to me- never did. Once again, I was Not a new customer, I had been with the company for 11 years. So being the professional and courteous person that I am, I offered a solution of requesting the owner Rodger (who used to service me) to be my regular technician and I was told No he’s too busy and I was welcome to look for another service. Mind Blowing. After being a loyal customer for 11 years and never complaining. I rightfully contacted them with 1 issue and that’s the treatment I received? So this 1 star review is in fact merited and sadly this reply was necessary. If this was a “bad day” or even a bad month, I would think we had enough of a customer-based relationship to admit that and apologize but I did not received that, I too received a dismissal letter like other reviews mentioned, and it was disappointing. I hope things get better for you and your customers. If this was isolated it would be a shame. As I mentioned in my original brief review below- you did have a good company. Original Review: It used to be a great company when Rodger, Lisa & Rob where there. Then came an absolute rude female and all service went down hill. That’s why you can’t keep your technicians. As you see, the recent reviews are negative and she/someone replies to them as if she’s in shock and refers to what used to be good reviews. No more excuses.

Melissa, I am still here and no excuses. Losing technicians to medical restrictions and relocating 100 miles away can't be avoided. Keeping remaining technicians is important though until more quality technicians can be found. So in an effort to not be overworked, I have restricted growth and reduced existing customers, some by distant location and some by being arduous. When I respond to reviews, yes I can be shocked by negative reviews. Especially when its due to not being able to respond efficiently and not from lack of quality. I wish you well, Rodger.
A very nice gentleman answered my call. He helped me and gave me advice on how to take care of a fruit fly problem over the phone. He was honest and very helpful.

Raised prices this year and then they terminated service. Just rcvd a letter in the mail. Had issues with spiders after treatment was done at the house and they wanted to refuse to retreat the residence. I would not recommend these people for treatment services.

In an era where there is short staffing in most businesses, our small company with just a few employees has made a difficult decision to focus our limited staffing on the commitments we have with our preexisting regular customers and cannot respond to one-time customers as we have in the past. We currently have half of the technicians we previously had and cannot add any reoccurring stops on to our packed schedules. Even for a customer who previously used our services. It just isn't possible. So until we can expand our staff with quality technicians at the level that our customers expect, we will have to stay within these limits so as not to over work our busy staff. So put the word out that we are continuously looking for quality technicians. If you know someone looking for a career change, we offer competitive hourly wages, paid holidays, paid time off, 401k, medical benefits, mon-fri daytime schedules, and the opportunity to help service thousands of wonderful customers yearly. Soon we will be able respond to everyone's needs at the levels we all strive for. Thank you, Rodger.
I’ve had good experiences with the service in the past (Roger). Now, they are too busy and short staffed to take care of their customer’s needs the way they have in the past.

On first acquaintance, the gentleman (Michael) that answered the phone was polite & friendly and answered all of my questions. We renewed the coverage and will await an inspection.
