Horrible customer service, changed my plan without notice then demanded payment before service was done when they have always billed me previously and all bills were paid. Lady was rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend horrible customer service and they have become money hungry.

A year ago I would’ve given a solid 5 stars. Now it seems like they can’t get anything right and they really don’t seem to care. We have a monthly spray done on our home and when they show up it’s great. But they are constantly rescheduling and not letting us know but when we call they say “oh we were fixing to call you” really 30 minutes after my scheduled time? Cool. I pay my invoices online, but they make sure to send me a past due invoice for my to call about every single month that they tell me to disregard because they sent it by accident. It’s absolutely ridiculous!!! This place went from a place we loved using to a complete and utter disaster!

Please never use this company for pest control. I started using them when I moved into my home a few years ago and things were fine at first but something has changed. Scheduling has been awful the last several months. I would have service scheduled and then be told multiple times I wasn’t scheduled. I was so upset with this company after so much back and forth and miscommunication this morning I cried. I’ve had everything removed out of my cabinets for weeks for roach service with miscommunication after miscommunication about scheduling for a roach clean out. Still had roaches after the initial clean out and was told another clean out would be done. Guy showed up this morning just do a routine follow up instead after I already had pets in the car to leave and still hadn’t put kitchen back in order because I was told another clean out would be done. I was told I would receive a phone call back from the branch manager and did not receive one. I was talked into a contract exclusion service a month ago where I now owe 1500 dollars for what turned out to be a 20 minute unfinished service and the job is still not finished or scheduled to be finished even after multiple phone calls with the branch manager. I couldn’t be more unhappy with the service in my home.

I was surprised they showed up and serviced my property. They used to service my property at another location. How they even had my address is unknown to me. A representative showed up did a good job. I was not at home. My wife was at home and assumed it was the company that now has our account. I was surprised when I found out it was Midwest.

This pest control company came knocking on my door saying they would do a full service for $75. I was not informed of being locked into a contract of any type or form. The male who knocked on my door mentioned it would be quarterly. It could be $99 for 3 months or $33 per month after this first service. I was not told there was a one year contract. I feel this company is negligent in being truthful with their customers. They also openly advised they charged a neighbor $200 for their first service and I quote the male "since we were in the neighborhood we can offer you a full service of $75 instead of $200 like your neighbor paid" that alone should have been a red flag for me, I continued to listen to the spiel of the product and he said if in a couple of weeks we were still seeing pests they would come and do another full service free of charge. (I believe his name was Mark). We were still having pest issues and I reached out to the company to set something up that is when I was advised the service would NOT be free as they promised and that I was also in a binding contract for 12 months and they want me to pay $115 dollars to break the contract I was not even advised of to begin with. When I was signing things, on his cell phone, the male said my signature was used to acknowledge the $75 payment and to acknowledge that they successfully completed service. I was not advised I was signing a contract also I was not provided a contract to read or any copy of the contract. I was deceived by this company and never advised of any contract.

Sign up for this contracted service if you want to pay for absolutely no services performed. Three times they supposedly came to the house and knocked but "no one was home" when we have multiple people at the house. When called each time they said that maybe the technician went to the wrong home. Absolutely no work has been done but they said that it has with no proof. Unfortunately there was a contract signed and now I have to pay for nothing again two more times. I highly recommend Orkin or another service but Marks or Midwest pest control.

Please do not use this service. We had so many problems. We signed up for one year of service for $99 each visit. We were charged $125 instead. The last two times they supposedly sprayed, nobody came. I am a SAHM and I was home both days they said they came. The doorhangars are hit- n- miss, but regardless, they don't fill them out so you still don't know where they sprayed. After our contract was up, we sent an email to officially cancel the service because I didn't trust them to notice the contract was up. I was right. 3 months later I saw a charge on our account. I called to get a refund and told them we had canceled. The young man who answered was rude. He "checked" to see if we had canceled, which was irrelevant since our contract was NOT RENEWED. He claimed they called before coming. Plus, I doubt he had the email I sent 3 months ago in front of him. Horrible service.

This company started out being very good. Now they have changed to "paperless". I have no idea if anyone ever comes out to the house. Bug problems are worse. I contacted Midwest to inquire as to how I am to know when/if someone is spraying at my house. The lady informed me that I would get an email stating that they were there. I informed her that anyone could send an email stating they were somewhere when they were indeed not there. No comment from the lady. I am canceling my service. Would not recommend using this company at all!

These guys started out as a great service. After two years using them, I noticed that things didn't seem to be getting done. I added a service for spiders and saw more of them. Added service for carpenter ants and they seem to be worse now. Got charged for a full treatment and the note left on the door said the dog was in the back, called about him coming out to finish and was told next Friday, dude never showed. last time they were "out" I was charged at 8:22 AM but the guy either was super fast about it or wasn't there as i let the dog out at 8:15 am and my wife got home from work at 8:10 am and didn't see the guy's truck, and there was no note left on the door at all. Canceling my service with them.

Beware of the good reviews!! They give credits to people who leave good reviews!! Had a guy from Midwest Pest control come spray our rental property for roaches (the guy who came and sprayed was very nice). He sprayed on a Wednesday and Monday morning there were not any dead bugs! I called the company to see about a refund and they DO NOT give refunds. They said I need to give it more time!! When your in the rental business who has time to have an empty house that no one can move into because there are bugs? I don't. So I called a local pest control on Monday, the guy came right over and sprayed and within 4 hours there were hundreds of dead bugs covering the floor. its been 3 days and the roach problem is almost gone! Also, the guy that walks around getting jobs for Midwest Pest doesn't bother telling you that you're signing a 12 month commitment!! I let my husband sign and yes its his fault for not reading it but as a good business man the salesman should have mentioned it! When I called them they did take care of my cancelation fee but I will not ever use this company again and I will NEVER recommend them!! Some advice: Get some better products!!

A Midwest salesman came to my door and began selling their services to me, I was interested and when it came time to schedule an appointment, I gave him my C/C number and he said to me, "sign here so we can authorize the use of your credit card". Well he failed to mention I was signing a 12 month contract with them and had to pay a cancellation fee to get out of it. Should I have read it before signing? Yes and I take responsibility for that part. The first tech to come out does a good job, sprays inside and out, knocks down some of the wasp nests, lays down glue traps. Time for the second appointment comes and I wait all day for a call to confirm they are coming out that day. Well apparently they come out to you "when they can get to you" and I was informed in some cases it is not the same day. The second tech comes and it just gets worse. First he is out of water in his tank and has to hook up to my house water, second I have to tell him exactly what and where I want sprayed, third he only sprays the front of my house and never goes into the backyard, which I assured him was dog free and gates were unlocked, nor does he offer to spray inside the house or check the glue traps that were placed, fourth, I asked about fly control and the second tech said they had something for it, but he did not have any and would schedule for someone to bring some out, spoke with them today and the appointment was never made, and finally, still leaves the wasp nests the first tech left behind after bringing attention to them again. After all of this I call to fix the situation and I am given the excuse that the second guy is ''not the normal guy for this route''. So I am led to understand on a different route someone is getting sub-par service? After confronted with this issue, I am offered a ''free reservice'' when one of the selling points given to me by the sales rep was they would come back out for free if I thought they needed to. Basically, I feel I was not given the service boasted by the company and when confronted about fixing this, I was offered a service I would get either way. I went ahead and bit the bullet so to speak and cancelled my service to avoid wasting any more money. If i'm going to pay that kind of money, I need a company I know is going to be consistent and not require me to hold their hand throughout the service.

Salesman was dishonest and gave misinformation. The technician came to spray on a day I was leaving for work. I had set up this appointment for a non-work day. They came several days early. I paid them by check for the spraying that day.The tech who came to spray also gave me misinformation. Was not told I was signing a year long service agreement. I was too trusting and in a hurry to leave for work. Do not let these people in your home. Their customer service told me that Midwest was not responsible for misinformation given me by the people in the field. They turned me over to a credit agency....... Disreputable.

I had a well groomed young man that came to my house. Yes ants were driving us crazy. I went ahead with the membership or whatever he called it. The first time the exterminator was supposed to be there, he was LATE! 1-2 hrs late! I felt bad for him. He went to the wrong house somehow. I still saw bugs and more than regular. I called and left a message and no answer. I called again and never received a call back. Finally scheduled it and the kid let my neighbor in my house. Luckily, neighbor is only somewhat strange. I have left messages for them to call me back and haven't received a call or schedule. Only time I get anything is when they want to collect my money. I paid for a guarantee! What is this? No calls back and they don't seem to be professional. I recently complained about not getting a call back. I was told that they call everyone back. So does this mean I am lying? This is not good customer service and if possible I would be out of contract. I can't get a call back or anything!! Sucks because I am in the contract! No guarantee.
