They did not come everytime they were supposed to, I was lied to at my front door, and when I called to tell them one of their associates was lying to get sales they seemed satisfied like they were happy I had been duped. It all just felt very sketchy and I felt very taken advantage of.

If there were a place to give less of a rating I would. To begin the salesman lied about the service we would get provided then none of the treatments even worked as a matter of fact after they treated out yard more spiders were actually in out yard than before! We also seen an increase of different species of spiders that we didn’t have before. We were also told that when they treat they would treat our entire yard and that was a lie once the service tech got here he said we only do around the house. The whole point in getting there services was to protect my kids from being bitten by spiders that’s why we even considered getting the services. They also never said anything about it costing use to cancel services. As well as sending our past due to collection agency this provide has lied manipulated me and my wife, just to get us in a contract and provide the worst service during the time of this we called orkin and they came out and did the job we were really searching for!

Don't Fall for their trap, They solicited in my neighborhood which is not allowed. then I was tricked into signing a contract that the sales kid rushed through to get me to sign. they charged me a second time without even coming and treating my yard again. when I cancelled they charged me hundreds of dollars to do so. now they sent it to collections because I refuse to pay them for work they didn't do and to cancel.

I recommend checking their Yelp page (1.5 stars) and read through Reddit for a more accurate picture of this company. I believed the positive Google reviews and regret it. I signed up with Alta Pest Control this spring for mosquito treatments and had heavy mosquito activity all summer and in to Fall. Multiple sprays did nothing, and when I asked for help between visits (as promised in their “Alta guarantee”), two times no one came. Scheduling is a nightmare because there is no online portal, my calls were not answered, no callbacks. I ultimately had to text the salesperson directly to get anything scheduled, and revisits took over a week. I tried to cancel months ago but was talked into continuing and offered multiple “free months.” It doesn’t matter how many free months they give when the service simply does. not. work. The excuses I heard for the ongoing mosquito problem included “rain washed it off,” “your area is worse than normal,” and “the spray flushes bugs out first.” None of the treatments improved anything. Bottom line: Their guarantee wasn’t honored, the results weren’t there, and communication was terrible. I ultimately paid $300 just to get out of a contract they didn’t fulfill. Incredible waste of money and time.

Subpar services—they’re maybe on my property for a total of 5-8 minutes. I have an acre lot with cameras that are able to capture all exterior entry points of property. I’ve been using them for over the last 15 months and have had an increase of pests. They advertise that they will treat inside the house, and I have NOT had them out to treat inside the house since I initially started services. I called with my concerns and customer service stated they would send someone out for a “complimentary” treatment. I’ve addressed multiple issues on various occasions and have not had any corrective treatment to their poor performance.

They are liars! we said we would be moving and wouldn't do a year contract so they agreed to do 6 months and now that we have moved and our contract should be over they are trying to charge us an extra $200 for cancelling early. They are terrible at pest control on top of all of that we never stopped having problems with spiders, mosquitos fly's. We would ask them to come back out since the bugs nothing ever went away and they never would. They said the inside of the house and our shed was included but they never once sprayed inside or did the shed there were crazy spider nests and inside and out side shed. I would give them 0 stars if I could. This is just straight THEFT!!!

I was completely misled by the door to door salesman. He promised top quality service at a reasonable price. This is not what I paid for or received. I spoke with multiple customer service representatives. They made several promises that were simply untrue. I feel like they lied to me. Made promises to simply get me off the phone. The service was subpar. I did not see a decrease in pest activity. I would not recommend using this service. Save yourself the hassle and use a reputable business. They charge a higher price than quoted. They offer a guarantee which Is not worth anything.

I promise you there is cheaper and better service, where sales people aren’t slimy and only care about commission like they do at Alta pest. Staff is rude on the phone and after I deliberately said that they must leave my property, they entered the premises anyway. If you are considering giving them money, shop around first.

Our experience with ALTA Pest Control was nothing short of a nightmare. A door-to-door salesman came by and promised us pest control for roaches at a mere $50/month. However, when we tried to inform them that it was not in this weeks budget and that we would have to wait until next week, the salesman offered to VENMO us the payment to hit his quota and then told us that a technician would come later that day. When the technician arrived, we were informed that treating for roaches would cost an additional $200 on top of the $50. Essentially, we ended up with a quick cobweb removal and nothing more. Later, when we tried to cancel, they attempted to charge us $100 for product that was never applied. We even have security footage proving that no chemicals were applied. Despite explicitly instructing them not to treat our backyard with granules or spray due to our chickens, they still claimed to have done so. Our chickens are perfectly fine, which shows they did nothing beyond a superficial cobweb removal. In summary, ALTA Pest Control is untrustworthy, misleading, and unprofessional. Avoid them at all costs!

I wish i could give them zero stars. I thought I had a monthly service because I’m paying monthly come to find out I’m paying for one visit three months out and they come every three months. When trying to cancel I was told i have to pay $250 because they gave me a discount and since I’m Canceling before the contract ends, I have to pay. I still have wasp. I still have spiders, etc. if I would have known that I was in a year contract and had to pay to cancel, I would have never signed. That is something that should have been stated before signing anything. Y’all fail to mention that until it’s time for me to cancel. Then you are charging me for a special you all ran and since i didn’t pay full price i have to pay that to cancel. I had to call them out multiple times and ended up resolving the main issue myself. I will not recommend this company to anybody.

I signed up for pest control last week. We had just had our HVAC go out and I told the salesman that it wasn’t a good time but that we were shopping for pest control and to please contact us the next day. He pressured me into signing up and sent us $70 on Cash App when I told him we didn’t know how much out HVAC repair would cost to offset the $99 initial payment. When I checked my cash app the rep, Roberto’s, photo was of him with his middle finger up. Extremely unprofessional. That should have been my first red flag. The technician, Eric, contacted me the next day. No one was home because it’s summer and we didn’t have air conditioning. So they could only treat the outdoor and we were told they would be treating inside as well. He assured me it wasn’t ok and that I would just need to reach out to customer service to reschedule for someone to come out. Red flag number 2. If you know you couldn’t complete the service, and you were informed that there were extenuating circumstances as to why no one was home (that a previous rep was also notified of) you why can’t you just reschedule? But whatever. That was on Thursday. I have been calling Alta every single day since Thursday. I’ve gotten two call backs. One I missed. The other I answered and got hung up on immediately and no one called back. I should have listened to my gut and trusted the bad reviews. DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY ROPE YOU INTO A CONTRACT AS THEY DO NOT HOLD UP THEIR END OF THE DEAL!
