Peyson came by for our second Pest Control appointment and arrived right on time. This was my first time meeting him and he was every bit as pleasant and professional as my wife said he was the first time. We have new kittens at the house and Peyson was conscientious enough to check if he should go into all rooms or just some, which made it easy to ensure we didn't freak out the skittish new additions to our family. We hired this company to conduct pest control at our apartment complexes. The tech lied to our face and told us he treated 38 out of 40 units. After checking the cameras we found that he only treated 22 out of 40 units. This unfortunately isn't the first time this has happened. We won't be using this company any more.

Dakota, we will be terminating our Pest Control service for your apartments effectively immediately. We can not in good faith allow our technicians to enter units with a key, and not be assisted by a security guard or your management team. We have had too many incidents where: <br><br> Our Technician was threatened, for entering their apartments:<br> Multiple times no one will answer, and when we open the door they find Naked, or half naked people:<br> Human feces on the ground, or in the bathtub:<br> Animal Feces on the ground;<br> Drug paraphernalia on tables or around. <br> Guns on the person.<br> Complete Hoarding etc. <br><br>Basically I do not feel comfortable asking my guys to do things that are Hazardous to them. I have had multiple technicians ask me to never send them back to your Apartments because they feel unsafe. <br>Because of the above mentioned circumstances we feel we can not meet your expectations, and feel the 1 star review is a little unfair. We would ask that in good business you take down your <br>1 star review, and we will remove the charge from yesterday's service.
Overpriced service that doesn't work. Requested repeat service for in between, but still didn't kill the bugs requested. Attempting to cancel service results in threatening sales tactics. Tricked into signing a contract on a touch device from a door to door salesman who told me is a one time service and instead was a year long contract. Do not use.
I strongly advise against using Thunder Pest Control. My experience was riddled with misleading billing practices and pushy sales tactics that nearly cost me hundreds more than I agreed to. I paid $900 upfront for a 12-month termite service contract--$450 for bait station installation and $450 for monthly monitoring. Over the course of the year, they only came out 6-8 times, and never replaced a single bait station. Then, three months after my contract ended, I received a call claiming I owed $450, now 90 days past due. This was completely false--I had paid in full and received no services beyond the original 12 months. When I questioned the charge, I was told the contract "auto-renews" unless canceled in advance. I asked if I had signed a second contract or set up automatic payments (I hadn't), and was met with condescension and hostility. The representative even said, "Good luck with the termites then." Within two hours, someone was at my house removing the bait stations (which should've been done at the end of my contract). Warning: * Don't fall for the auto-renewal trap * Avoid automatic payments * Watch for deceptive billing They would've taken more money if I hadn't stood my ground. Be cautious.

Currently an installation for your size home is about $1,500 and $39.99 per month. You got a killer deal at $450 install and $450/year mainenance ($37/month)... As directed on the Bait station label, they only need to be checked 1 time per year, but we check them more often than that and replace any bait necessary. If the bait has not been eaten or destroyed, no replacement is necessary. <br>Please feel free to call and discuss with us a way to make things right for your home. Only the first visit was favorable. I was charged for my second service, and they never showed up. I scheduled a new appointment, and no one came to my house. They charged me without doing the work.

This guy rings door bell as it plainly stated NO TO RING DOOR BELL . If I was going to be looking for a pest control it definitely wouldn't be this disrespectful guy!!!! Oh and he got mad when I slammed my door going back in as he mouthed walking off ......

Pushy Sales, Deceptive Contracts, and Useless Service — Stay Away from Thunder Pest Control Last summer, a Thunder Pest Control salesperson caught me outside while I was juggling my toddler and cleaning out the garage. I was clearly overwhelmed and in the middle of things. I told him multiple times that we should wait for my husband to get home, but he kept pushing and pushing until I finally agreed—just to get some peace. He made it sound like a low-risk trial service, and I believed him. What followed was months of stress and regret. The service they provided not only failed to help—it actually made our pest problems worse. Moths and webs appeared after their first visit. Even after a follow-up visit (which they charge for regardless of effectiveness), the issues persisted. We ultimately had to find a different pest control company to fix the problems Thunder Pest created. I have been asking to cancel for the last 10 months. Every single month, they ignore me and schedule another unwanted service. This month, after I informed them via both email and text that I was in the hospital recovering from a C-section and nursing a newborn, they continued to text and call me—then hit me with a $200 cancellation fee. Looking back, I wish I had told them to leave that day—but like many people, I struggle with confrontation. And they took advantage of that. Their business model thrives on high-pressure tactics, unclear contracts, and total disregard for customer wellbeing. Notice the reviews from other folks experiencing the same exact tactics and disregard. Do not trust Thunder Pest Control. They are pushy, predatory, and completely unprofessional. Learn from my mistake—don’t let them anywhere near your home.

I picked up this service by someone coming to my house and selling it to me the only way I was OK with doing it was not having to fill out a contract. I never signature anything. I was never handed any paperwork about a contract but when I called to cancel seven months later, they won’t allow me to cancel. Says they have to come out seven times before they will allow me to cancel?. I have been paying $100 since July now they’re telling me it’s $200 to cancel. Unless you wanna be stuck in a situation where they milk you for money. I wouldn’t sign up with them. They’ve been to my house 4 times And because I didn’t answer the door, they didn’t Spray and told me they came seven times and attempted, but I wasn’t here. Oh But hey they still charge you for it they are going to make sure they get there money regardless if any of the product was used on the job or not. If that’s the kind of people you want Spraying around your house This is your place of business.
I feel like I'm being lied to and scammed. I had a supposed appointment on 8/5/2024. My doorbell camera detects all activity at my house. I was supposed to be called 30 minutes before the technician's arrival to ensure I was home. No one called, and no one showed up. However, I received an email claiming that "Spencer" came to my house, removed cobwebs, and sprayed. Later, I was told that "Hudson" did the work. No one rang my doorbell or appeared on my camera. No one came to the front patio to remove cobwebs as claimed. I immediately texted and emailed to report that no one came and that I do not authorize payment for this visit. No one responded, yet you processed the invoice for a visit that did not happen. I no longer want any service from your company. This is a complete scam and rip-off! I will ensure everyone in my new neighborhood knows about your deceitful practices. HORRIBLE service. Was having lots of bugs issues and decided to cancel. Called them today and JOSEPH treated me like a child. Told him I was going to pay the cancellation fee without a problem due to not liking the service they provided. I was not trying to get free service nor get my money back. He laughed at me on the phone a couple of times showing his unprofessionalism and went on to treat me like I was a stupid person. I hope you guys don't have to deal with this person and this company. Overall I paid $370 for them to come out twice and the job was not even done correctly. Thunder Pest Control (Owner) a week ago Arturo, Barry will call you and resolve your issues. We wasted THOUSANDS of dollars on pest services, exclusion, and roof replacement. First, I want to share a picture of the hole in the soffit that they "fixed". Apparently they didn't do a very good job and the animals came right back and went through it! Consulting with a different pest company, it was clear that their exclusion method was not up to current standards. It simply consisted of putting mesh between bricks, but left numerous gaps in the soffit and brick where pests could still get in easily. We wasted thousands of dollars only to have animals back in our attic. To make matters even worse, their billing department and management are very difficult to work with and do not follow up on requests (conveniently "out of town" all of the time). They sent us to collections for pest treatments that we asked them to cover due to the giant hole they didn't fix!!! They agreed to do so and were supposed to follow up with collections to address it. We paid collections to just get it off of our record, but we still have to fight it on our credit score. In short, ThunderPest is a terrible company. They do not follow industry standards, are poorly managed and fail to help customers in a timely manner, and engage in dishonest and deceiving business practices. I'll close by telling you how ripped off we felt by their "packaging" of insulation with other services and the resulting lack of transparency and quality of each service provided. But, I'm tired of complaining about them. I strongly advise you NOT to use them. Edit: the contract is probably under my wife’s name, Christina Tippy. We have reached out to ThunderPest several times and their owner, Barry, was supposed to follow up with us and never is around. How convenient! Please don’t offer the disingenuous “reach out and we’ll help you” unless you actually plan to do so. We are tired of being misled.
