I’ve used Agrilawn for more than 2 decades and have always found their services to be top notch. Agrilawn stands behind their work and, on those rare occasions where they have to retreat/reapply their products (pesticide), they to do in a timely manner and without hesitation. The technicians are both timely and friendly and their office personnel are likewise cordial whenever I’ve called to schedule/reschedule or have general questions. Insofar as technical questions are concerned, Agrilawn’s personnel are quite knowledgeable insofar as their services and product (herbicides, insecticides, fertilizers, etc.) are concerned. As far as my current service technician is concerned, Jessie is both friendly and knowledgeable. Upon his arrival, Jessie lets us know that he’s arrived, explains what service he’s performing and answers any questions you may have both before and after he’s performed the service. Keep up the great work Jessie!

Evan knocked on the door and made sure I knew he was there. He treated the front lawn then waited for me to put the dogs out and bring them back in. He didn’t go into the back yard until I told him it was OK. I appreciated that courtesy very much.

Tried to get a quote/estimate, they called the day before, said someone would be out between 11-1 and they'd call to let me know they were on the way. On the day, there was no call, no text, no doorbell, no knock, they just came and left a note on the door that said they couldn't measure the backyard because the gate was locked. No way would I do business with a company whose techs can't figure out how to call in advance or ring the doorbell when they see a lock on the gate.
Provider response
We’re sorry for the frustration. We understand you didn’t receive the communication you expected. We wish you would have allowed us the chance to address this when you called. Please reach out to our office — we’d like the opportunity to make this right.

Ran into my husbands truck with his machine and did not even come to the door to let him know. His truck is brand new and even asked Jessy if he needed to move it before servicing and Jessy told him no it was fine. Apparently it was not!
Provider response

I prepaid AgriLawn on February 27, 2025 for a six-month (½-year) lawn treatment plan that included lawn fertilization, flea & tick treatment, and aeration. The amount paid was exactly what AgriLawn quoted to me over the phone, and my check memo clearly stated “prepayment for ½-year plus aeration.” AgriLawn accepted the prepaid payment without objection and never contacted me to advise of any pricing or billing errors. I was told aeration would be completed in the spring. Spring came and went and the aeration was never performed. I contacted AgriLawn multiple times but did not receive clear or consistent answers. On June 26, 2025, during a call initiated by AgriLawn to sell additional services, I raised the issue and requested a refund. I was told at that time that I had not prepaid for aeration and that I had credit remaining for one final lawn treatment. I clearly advised AgriLawn that after the final prepaid service was completed, I would not continue services. The final prepaid lawn treatment was completed in late July or early August 2025. Despite this notice, AgriLawn later showed up unannounced to perform an additional treatment, which I did not authorize and turned away. A day or so later, I received a voicemail from AgriLawn attempting to retain me as a customer; no mention was made of any outstanding balance during that call. After that, AgriLawn later claimed an outstanding balance. In October 2025, I received an email asserting a balance of $73.50. The following day, AgriLawn acknowledged in writing that the balance was caused by internal pricing and discount calculation errors and offered to “split” the charge. That same email contradicted earlier statements by claiming aeration had been prepaid and refunded, even though I never received a refund or any proof that one was issued. If aeration was in fact prepaid, and I used the final prepaid service as instructed, then I would be entitled to a refund for the unperformed aeration and a $0 account balance. In November 2025, a collection letter was sent for a different amount ($63.50), further demonstrating inconsistent and unsupported billing. This experience involved non-performance of prepaid services, contradictory explanations, admitted internal billing errors, unauthorized service attempts, and improper collection efforts. I would not recommend AgriLawn based on my experience.
Provider response
Ms. Miller,<br>As we've previously discussed via various forms of communication we were sorry to hear that your experience with AgriLawn was less than desired and we are very sorry for any miscommunication or confusion regarding scheduling of services, our program and our prepayment options. While customers may request to split their prepayment of services, we don't actually offer 6 month treatment plans. The billing issues that you mention were for services that were scheduled as part of an annual program and were completed as scheduled but not covered by the partial prepayment that was made due to the supplemental service that was canceled and refunded per your request. I am glad to say that since your posting we were able to determine that the refund mentioned was apparently lost in the mail and has since been reissued. Based on the tracking information, the re-issued refund is being held at the post office as of 1/2/26 "per customer request" so you are able to pick it up at your convenience. For clarification, the account has been cancelled per a previous conversation. In addition, the disputed charges you mention have already been cleared from the account and you should not receive further communication regarding them. If we can assist you in any other way, please give us a call.

We had used Agri Lawn for years but recently we have had to quit using there services because of the following: destroying our fescue , spraying our pool cover with chemicals, spraying a flower bed with chemicals also our weed control was not good, they were contacted, they didn't seem too concerned and chose not to come to our yard to address the problems nor respond to all the yard issues.
Provider response
We are very sorry to hear that you have experienced any issues with a treatment that we completed. I also apologize for any miss-communcation on our end as we are always willing to come out & address reported problems. I appreciate you taking my call today and look forward to hearing back from you with a date that we come out to your property to address the reported issues.

Do not trust the deal they give you. Tried it with the 50%off first and 50% off last deal and they said no contract just tell them before they schedule and they will give me the last service as the 50% off. No you have to have all 7 treatments to get the 2nd discount. Not happy with the result either.

I told agrilawn that I was no longer needing their business, 3 weeks before the next application, they applied their product to my yard two more times and after the first time I told them I will not be paying them and they still did it one more time, and they have been billing me every since, do not use this company. 6 years later, they are still on my credit report as delinquent for a service I told them I didn't want or need

Agrilawn treated my lawn for about one year until I found out that they weren’t treated my lawn close to the lake (a small portion of my lawn). I understand that there are regulations about treating lawns close to a lake but everyone’s lawn gets treated by the lake that lives here. Fertilizing companies do it by hand. I called Agrillawn and they told me they wouldn’t fertilize there. After about a couple of days, another person from agrilawn called me and said they would fertilize close to the lake, but they would have to do it by hand. I told agrilawn that that is a great solution to this problem but I had already done that. I didn’t pay my last bill because agrilawn had ignored my lawn for the past year, and I had weeds and little grass there. I told agrilawn that I would pay my last bill minus my labor, and the fertilizer that I used, but they would not do that. Then agrilawns attorney started harassing me.

I tried with Agrilawn for 3 seasons. This is our final season. The scheduling and cancellations are continual. By the end of each season I was left with 3-4 of the lawn treatments left after I attempted to schedule with them so many times for fertilizer and weed control. By the end of the season they were scheduling me once a week!!! I said no this is harming my lawn for 2 consecutive seasons. I have been left with so many large crab grass spots and weeds after I aerated and even raked and planted grass seed. Doing this process again today! They charged me each year for non service at the end of the year and I had a great time with there office manager who was super condescending, talked over me and provided no resolution except for constant defending. My grass was like carpet and now I spend so much time raking, planting and pulling weeds that have never existed. I paid this company for non service, cancellations, and to be treated so poorly. My choice in hiring them was a bad one and I am paying for it! I

Do not use this company. I paid for a year upfront, and I was told through the sales rep Brian to do everything online because I was getting extra discount, and when I called him afterwards to verify everything, he said I did everything correctly, only to find out that it was not done correctly. I paid for an entire year of only half of my lawn. Over half of my lawn is weeds, and when I called the manager to discuss it, she said that was not normal, but they were not willing to make it right. She said I could pay for other services, and even mentioned that it was not reasonable that the sales rep didn’t verify it, and was rude about it. Don’t waste $600 on them. Go somewhere else, they don’t even fully spray the lawn anyways. Here’s what it looks like after a year of service. All weeds. Edit since owner response: They only called to say something after they read my online review. They did not care how rude they were in the beginning, and it was hours before they acknowledged how they spoke on the phone. Still not using them, and others shouldn’t either.

I started using Agrilawn in late 2020, and they were great. My lawn looked the best it ever had ...until spring of this year. They did the pre-emergent treatment, and whatever they sprayed ended up killing most of the grass in my front yard. Then when I refused to pay, they sent my $60 bill to a debt collection agency.
