Everyone I spoke with at Critter Control was very professional. I worked with Technician Dominic and appreciated him explaining the process of removing my squirrels and repairing the fascia sections. The entire process went smoothly even despite the severe weather we encountered. Thank you.

The gentleman who took care of my bird problem did an excellant job. He cleaned up the mess left behind by the bird and fixed the area where the bird was getting in. Problem solved. Excellant job. I would highly recommend Critter Control

Technicians were friendly and nice, however they’re way overpriced. I was told initially that it will take at least 90 minutes for initial inspection, and they must insect inside of home. it took them 35 minutes only including installing bait in the attic. They didn’t do inside house. I was charged $350 for 35 minutes inspection plus $100 for bait. They said they will never come back to recheck bait or I order other very expensive installations on roof! So how do I know if it worked, or if I do have any rodent in the attic? It’s way too expensive for what they did!

We provide pricing over the phone before scheduling, and since every home is unique, we can’t say exactly how long each inspection will take. The bait we place inside lasts a long time. Our mouse control service is a three-step program: baiting inside, baiting outside, and making repairs. We recommend baiting the outside along with repairs—outside stations are serviced monthly, and our repairs come with a one-year warranty. If you only bait the inside, mice can still find their way in. Thank you!

Staff Kindness, quick response, and ability to evaluate our building--I give them a 5 star! Their ability to cage the squirrel that continued to access the attic and inside wall, a 3 star. Why: The two-crew member team would not address the squirrel in wall by cutting a hole in drywall per my request, only took approach to put cage on roof near believed access point. After 3-days of waiting and a very upset tenant having to listen to the squirrel scratching and gnawing at wall, my maintenance person and I cut a hole in the drywall, caging the critter within 30 minutes.

Thanks for the feedback. We place the traps outside the property, right by the main entry point, monitor that area, and we do not trap over the weekends. Hi Debbie, thanks for the feedback. You have a mole program that lasts for a full year. Whenever you notice new damage, give our office a call, and we’ll come out to set traps. Only the mole removal fee will apply. Thanks again!
My job WAS NOT COMPLETED and there is a serious misunderstanding of what the remainder entails. Plus, I was already charged 2/3 of the total contract amount when less than half has been completed.

Hi Carolyn, the bat eviction will not be completed until after hibernation in the spring, as bats are protected, and we cannot fully finish all repairs until then. The charges applied are for the repairs our technician has already completed. The technician also left you a message yesterday to discuss this with you. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Dominic was excellent, and very professional. He was very thorough in explaining where Bats were coming in and how to attack them. Answered every question. He came out two days later and did the job.I wish every service tech was as knowledgeable as he was. Price was a little high, but needed to get Bats out of attic and house,ASAP. Orkin recommended them to me.Only drawback was no senior discount. Critter Control better keep him. Would definitely recommend Critter Control to everyone.

They set 1 trap for racoon never caught the racoon. I still hear it in my attic and they want to charge me again to set up another trap. I thought I had some kind of warranty when they did not catch anything

Dominik came out and could not find any access to house,,set mouse traps and i told him its not mice, sounds like a squire or raccoon. We were unable to sleep last night. I would like the mouse traps removed and a trap set for larger rodent.

I had a raccoon trapped in my attic from a hole that was patched on the roof. The tech Critter Control sent out explained they were shorthanded in help and he was ready to go on maturity leave. He want to remove the steel guard that was placed over my roof some of my ceiling fan in the attic and put the trap on my roof. I said absolutely not. Why should I catch the entire neighborhood wildlife when we know one is trapped in my attic. He then agreed to do what I requested but only left the trap in my attic for 2 days. After the second day he pulled the trap and sent me a request to put chimney caps on a fake chimney for the price of $349. It wasn’t the same service I received 4 years prior to Critter Control and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone or use them again myself. I finally trapped the raccoon that they weren’t able to catch themselves.

Thank you for the feedback. We were hired for an animal getting in the attic, and noted on the workorder was the entry point was sealed up over 2 weeks before our services. During our inspection the technician found the chimney to be the point of entry. Since this was the entry point, then a trap would be placed on the rooftop close to the entry point. It was asked for our technician to place the trap in the attic, outside of our recommendation's. For animals getting in the home, we do set traps on the outside of the home and monitor the entry point. Per state law, a set trap has to be checked every calendar day. Since our schedule, is different every day, and a trap need checked every day, customers are not always available the same time we are. The trap was pulled from inside the attic, with no activity. The animal entry worksheet was sent with a recommendation for a chimney cap, since this was the point of entry our technician found during the inspection. Thank you.

$250 for a 15 minute inspection of my attic is overpriced.

Upon arrival, the price is then agreed to in writing. We completed the inspection onsite and billed according to our contract. Afterwards, you attempted to contact our office and negotiate a price change. I contacted this company to help me locate and remove a dead animal from underneath my mobile home. I told them that it was somewhere in the underbelly and that i had not had any luck finding them. They said they would come take a look. When they arrived the guy that showed up spent maybe a half hour looking around under my trailer then told my wife that They would not search in the underbelly for it. He then told her that It was definitely cats living under our home and that there were no signs of any other animal down there and that the company does not deal with cats or dogs. paid $200 for that. I took matters into my own hands and put a trap down underneath my home in an attempt to catch the cats. I used canned cat food as bait and to my surprise the very 1st night I caught 2 possums. I've since caught 2 more possums underneath my trailer with no signs of any cats at all. I'm not really sure what I paid for other than them not knowing what they were dealing with.

My apologies, but we always do our very best to provide great customer service and to resolve matters with our customers. We cannot fix what we don't know. It's always a good idea to give a company a chance to resolve your conflict before posting negative reviews. We go above and beyond to make sure that our customers are treated fairly. Please call our office and we'd be happy to resolve matters with you. Also, we were called for a dead animal. No dead animal was located by our technician, and you're not reporting having located a dead animal. Trapping is a different service and we can discuss that with you if you'd like.
Took $240 for “consultation,” which consisted of me telling them I have critters living under my deck. Traps were placed and baited no more than two times. Caught nothing in 3 weeks packed up and left. Brilliant business model though must be said Cool, can I get my refund since you accomplished nothing?

Hello Justin. We are sorry to hear that you're not happy with our services. However, we made 15 trips to your home, utilizing two different technicians in an attempt to verify there was no activity for groundhogs, skunks or raccoons. Our second technician also confirmed there were no large holes to indicate larger wildlife. White hair was found once, which indicates likely rabbit activity- which would coincide with the smaller holes. We also trapped and released a rabbit early on in the trapping process, as this was not an animal we were authorized to remove. We absolutely baited your traps daily when needed, whether it was with liquid bait (which you may not have been able to see), or with other baits to entice larger wildlife. The $229.95 service call is clearly quoted upon customer's initial call - before scheduling. We also review this onsite and have customers sign the contract. In no way do we hide any fees or mislead customers. The contract also stipulates UP TO 2 Weeks of trapping on business days, excluding holidays and weekends. We exceeded our contractual obligations and made every attempt to resolve your concern. Overall, wildlife does oftentimes "move along" or becomes fearful of our presence and traps when there is new activity on a property. This is precisely why trapping and baiting more than "two times" is not only necessary, but is why we made 15 trips to your house.
I called around the area to find a company that can clean out rodent droppings from my crawl space, every other company offered a free estimate but not this company. They wanted $229 just to come out to look. That price did not include any cleaning. No thanks

Hi Andrew. Our Wildlife Inspection includes a top to bottom, interior and exterior inspection. Unfortunately, we cannot provide recommendations on a brief onsite visit. Making appropriate recommendations relies on a full inspection to do the proper services and remedies. Providing free onsite inspections isn't feasible for every customer that calls our office. Please note that we would not have only quoted dropping clean up. Our inspection would have included areas of entry and verification of activity, as well as written recommendations to remedy against future issues. We do not feel it's in the best interest of our customers to do a clean up if we cannot verify whether the activity has ceased and how the activity is occurring. Thank you for your feedback. However, we feel that comparing a free clean up quote against our full inspection is not comparable at all. Have a good day!
Wayyyyy overpriced ~ I chose to go with Orkin. Orkin was half of the price, without added pricing for bait traps.......and no additional charges for returning within 30 days! Big difference
