Brian came out to check on problem I had with hornets in a bush. He found the nest right away, explained what had to be done, and took care of the problem. He finished with instructions on what was to follow, and left phone number to call if problem returned. Stark (and Brian) have my unqualified endorsement.

Very pleased with my first visit from Stark Exterminators. My technician, Brad, was outstanding. He called ahead of time to let me know what time he would be arriving. He was here at the beginning of time slot they had given me, so that was great. Brad handled my interior and exterior areas professionally and effectively. I had two areas where he needed to use a fogger; one was a bee infestation in my back decking, and the other was my gazebo in back yard. Not every exterminator company has foggers. All together my initial experience with Stark Exterminators has been extremely positive. I would highly recommend them!

Showed up announced to my house with no appointment just to ask me if they can inspect my house and details about what other company I use for pest control. Very unprofessional and intrusive.

I was not satisfied with the inspection conducted by the Stark inspector. I was purchasing a home and they did the initial inspection. The report read that there was an ACTIVE termite infestation in the home, a quote to treat this infestation and prevent further ones was given. After I received the report, I inspected myself and saw no signs of an active infestation. Confused, I called Bug Busters of Greensboro to conduct a second inspection. Although there were signs of a past infestation, it was clear that-that had been exterminated a long time ago. Drilled treatment holes for the application of termiticide were clearly visible in the basement and garage and there was no evidence of a current active infestation. When I brought up these findings and my concerns to Stark, I get ignored.
WE USE STARK FOR OUR BUSINESS AND WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. WE USE THEM QUARTERLY, ALWAYS PROMPT AND BILLING IS SUPER EASY. NO BUGS !!

I would give no stars if all possible. The fact that this company will go to the lengths to basically harass a homeowner is disgusting. Some background on the matter; Stark Exterminators' pull our information from the public recorded when we purchased our first home, then began sending us invoices regarding services that we NEVER reached out for, agreed too, or were even informed of. Immediately I reached out due to the large sum, speaking with a woman named Marrie E. Grady who informed me that the owner before the previous owner of the property (2nd chain back owner of the subject property) had executed an agreement with Stark Exterminators. So instead of reaching out to the original signor of the contract or the previous owners (who we purchased the property from) they immediately began sending bills to us. Once I called and explained everything to Marrie, she informed me that it was a mistake in their system, that bills get sent automatically, and that we should ignore the constant letters/bills. Well we just received a threat to file a claim against us in collection, again for a contract that WE NEVER SIGNED, NEVER REACHED OUT FOR, NEVER REQUESTED, NEVER WANTED! This is highly unprofessional and in my opinion shameless. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone.
They came out and did my termite service which was listed, but offered to do some drain work for me because I had standing water in my basement. The work done did not work and they aren't qualified to do that sort of drain system anyways. Bad experience that costs more than their competition.

Been using them for years, still show up unannounced! Asked many times to set up a time, due to my work shift changes. Constant billing issues. They flooded my crawl space today and said we know a good guy for a reasonable price for repairs. When I can find someone to transfer termite bond to reasonable I'm done.

Technicians have shown up multiple times without making appointments only to have someone call immediately after the technician leaves. Then, I get a call 2 days later to set up our next service. To add insult to injury, I then receive an invoice for services that were never performed. I've also scheduled appointments and not have anyone show up. After being a loyal customer for several years, I'm done waiting my time and money. The technicians have always been nice and friendly but the scheduling with Stark is lower than poor.

Office staff are incompetent and rude, which is why I cancelled my service. I continue to be billed for service I never received and that is well past the time I cancelled and went with another company. After multiple calls to them about this, and promises it was resolved, I received another bill today. I called again and spoke to the office manager who explained the account was closed and it was a mistake on their part not to correct the billing. When I told her whatever the reason, I did not want to receive another bill she raised her voice dramatically and talked very demeaning to me about what she was trying to say.....totally unacceptable, unprofessional and rude! I would never recommend this company.

From your Winston-Salem, NC location: HORRIBLE SERVICE! They never showed up to scheduled appointment that was scheduled a week in advance. When I called to ask about the report I was told the appointment was moved to the following week. Um, what? You didn't even call me to let me know...and then you have the audacity to tell me to call another company to do the inspection....now my buyer could potentially lose the purchase of her first home because of your mistake! WOW! Let's just say I am a real estate professional and work with many many buyers. NO MORE BUSINESS WILL BE SENT YOUR WAY!
The office is a complete disaster. Total confusion. Double booked appointments then no shows due to office mistakes. Techs are good they just constantly have their schedules messed up by disorganized office. Most calls made to office are complaints & they rarely get called back until the customer calls repeatedly. Recommend another pest control. This office is a mess!
