****THE 5 STARS ARE FOR TECHNICIANS ONLY****. Technicians do great work once on site. The scheduling office gets **** 2 STARS*** They are hard to reach and they clearly do not notify the technicians of any appointment time constraints made by the customer. They sent someone out several times when I clearly asked them not to bc I was not at home. Strange office hours and poor communication.
Michael called ahead arrived on time and listened to my concerns. He addressed everything and even found all the ant colonies outside! Very thorough service and helpful.

Came out in a timely manner, was polite and made a point to get the area I had requested for carpenter ants.
We had a great experience with LKN Pest Control today and always have. If there are any issues, they come out as soon as they can. Definitely recommend!
I contacted this company for an estimate to take care of one issue. A very nice man came out, with lots of information about what they could do to take care of my problem. He then offered me "a deal" to have coverage for an extra 3 months, just to guarantee the problem would be taken care of. They had to come out 3 times, for 3 consecutive weeks. He told me the treatment plan that would be used. Which wasn't used. Every trip, same chemicals just sprayed around. They did get rid of the problem for the time being. BUT instead of charging me for the 3months we agreed on, I have been charged for almost 7 months now. Every month I'm paying them for a service I don't want or need anymore. I call to cancel and argue that this is NOT what we discussed or agreed on the first meeting. I was instructed that I would have to pay over $200 to cancel my service with them!!!!! The person I spoke with couldn't give me any explanation or get me to a supervisor. They have no compassion that I didn't agree to this, that the sales guy straight up lied to me and now I'm stuck paying for services for a year. With no service being done!! Go somewhere else!!!!

I retained their services in 2019. I called in June 2020 to cancel. They refused my cancelation. They came anyway from September to December. They have been hounding me for the charges they added POST CANCELATION. I have told them I live on less than $1000 monthly now and do not have it. I have no credit. I have repeatedly asked They stop wasting the postage and the labor costs of continuing to harass me. They will never see a dime more from me. They have PREDATORY POLICIES. Like Amazon, they refused my cancelation and racked up this bill they want to harass me for.

Update to my original Review: After reconciling with the company they have since changing my account but not showing up to do the services monthly as they are supposed to do. I would stay away from this company!! I am 1000% cancelling my service. They did not even notice the huge number of carpenter bee houses that were built into my second level that I will have to fix myself. I had huge mounds of ants in the back yard all summer. If I could give a lower rating I would!!! Wanted to cancel my service due to the poor quality of what I was receiving for my investment. They neglected to tell me there was $100 cancellation fee upfront that I am extremely not happy about after a sprain, my house and whatever they do I still had ants coming inside. I do not recommend this company whatsoever! I’ve paid $35 for somebody to come out for 10 minutes and most of the time I saw walking around with a normal house duster and they still didn’t get all the cobwebs.

They skipped months on me. When I went to cancel the contract of 100/mo I was told I’d get a refund of one month (have not received it’s been a few weeks) and they would use the other month I didn’t get service as the cancellation money. I was paying for the upgraded plan so my interior would be done also. When they did show up they never notified me so I could ensure I was home for them to treat. Also when I called to cancel it took close to an hour of being on hold to speak with someone. The lady I spoke with was kind and tried to get me to stay but I can’t pay for no service or bad service.

I received a text at 7 AM that woke me up saying I was scheduled for service today. Then I received an email at 7:30 AM stating I was scheduled for service today. I called the number on that email after 9 and after being on hold for almost 9 minutes I was told that she could not help me with anything but she would forward my name and number to someone about the schedule. They called and without talking to anyone I was put on hold again for another 8 minutes. That person said service would be between 1 and 4 so basically my whole day was wasted time. I got a call from the tech at 5:45, when the family was sitting down for dinner and he told me he could come now. I told him no and he scheduled me for the next day between 9:30 and 10:30. At 11 I texted for an approximate time and he the told me I was scheduled for the next day. Someone did show up an hour and a half after the scheduled time but I still wasted my whole morning. Called the main number to complain and was put on hold again. Very poor management of this business. My time is valuable. Show some respect.

I’m reaching out because I haven’t had a good experience with the service. Unfortunately, ants and cockroaches have reappeared inside the house. It seems the treatment was not as thorough as I expected. The technician came in and completed the job so quickly that I was unsure it would be effective — and just a few days later, the pests are back. I would really appreciate it if someone could come back and re-evaluate the situation as soon as possible.

one of your workers tried to wreck into my son’s Jeep. who are you hiring? obviously this person doesn’t care if he wrecks your work truck or hurts others. this needs to be addressed immediately

Scummy company, usual bait n switch door to door sales. They do a terrible job on treating the yard and could give less of a damn about any bug issues. They just want you to sign the agreement. And give them a 5 star review so more people can get suckered into dealing with an absolute abhorrent company. Do your research. Stay away from this company.

UPDATING:12/18 Despite a flowery response online NOTHING has changed. I’ve attached the photo showing the last time I heard from you was two months ago and then today I received a 9 minute heads up for an appointment I never made nor was told about. Then Vinny called me to tell me I should keep my service and that they were again having problems with their schedules (just like 4 months ago) and then said the cancellation office will call me to talk about cancellation FEES. How freaking rude - clearly your company’s issues are the problem and the reason we keep getting g horrible service and now they want to charge us for saying no more and we need to move on. (We are still being charged) Plus I called over 20 mins ago to also try to cancel and no one has called back. We have mouse poop all over our Christmas boxes and ants again. Horrible. Horrible. HORRIBLE. They talk a good game and yet can’t seem to understand the value of customer’s time. Absolutely abysmal. Like other 1 star reviews this company has become a total disaster. No one shows up for appointments- my house is still CRAWLING in pests - mice, cockroaches, BLACK WIDOWS, spiders, mosquitoes- you name it. I have the PREMIUM service because I wanted to be pest free even if it cost more. It sure does cost more but there is nothing premium about this service. I have to call every. single. time to get anyone out here because they can’t keep scheduled appointments and then the tech either shows up late or without any warning. They also won’t set a time frame but kept telling me it was an ALL DAY window. One tech wouldn’t spray for mosquitoes because he said it might rain and I could call back and make another appointment if I really wanted. This past weekend I had kids in my yard and they were COVERED in bites and welts. But as one tech told me when I complained last month since it’s been a continuous problem that the treatments weren’t working - he said it’s just a bad year and that they were short staffed. One tech during a follow up appointment (which I did not get a heads up arrival text for) looked at a single mouse trap (we have I think 5-6 around house) and said eh it looked okay and left and canceled our next follow up. However - he did have time to sit in our driveway for 15 minutes instead of checking the other traps. One tech was supposed to give me a 1 hour heads up of arrival and gave me 2-minutes (I have a napping baby so heads up are important). But don’t worry - they WILL charge you every single month even if they don’t come. You have to sit on a call listening to facts about bugs for 5-15 mins before you can talk to anyone to make an appointment and even then they can’t get it right. I’ve now had to fix an ant problem myself - clean cockroaches off my child’s playroom and in front of his nursery door. Black widows are in our garage and mice were in our pantry. On the day of the last missed appointment I tried to call at 5 when it was clear no one was coming and no one answered. Instead I had to write a note and an after hours agent called. I explained my extreme frustration and he said someone would call the following Tuesday. Guess what - no one called. So again - I’ve had to write a note. Oh and they make you sign a contract saying you’ll pay $250 to cancel service - so we’ll see how this goes. We also have their termite plan so we definitely had hope in this company - sadly they just want money and don’t care about service or quality. Save your money and find literally anyone else or do it yourself. Adding a pic of the cockroaches in my 11-month old’s playroom so you can see how “great” their service and products are. I’ve already found dead squished cockroaches from under the mats when I was cleaning. Keep your family healthy and safe and find someone else that actually cares.

We have been using Lake Norman Pest Control for a couple years. They had previously done a great job & technicians were always very nice. But ever since they have become Lake Norman Home Services, it is almost impossible to get through to anyone on the phone. The automatic charge came thru last week but no one has even been out to treat our place. I can't remember the last time I saw a technician. It's extremely disappointing. We tried to call a couple of weeks ago for an issue & were never able to get through to anyone. Today my husband waited on hold for 15 min just to be told someone would have to call him back. Honestly surprised he even got thru at all. Not feeling confident that he'll get a call back. Very frustrating as a current customer.
