Acme is our chosen one, our landlord used them and now that we own the home that we once rented, we see no need to go anywhere else. Honest, reliable, and meets the needs in what anyone needs in a pest control company. Acme is the first choice in comparison. No one beats Acme, trust me I've shopped around and Justin always does a great job. I can tell that he has been here. I appreciate his dedication to the homeowners and he always makes us feel like our home has an additional covering of protection. His knowledge and professionalism is outstanding. He cares about his job and he cares about his clients.
Tim Freeman and his crew did an outstanding job by getting rid of all of the creepy crawlers for me when I moved in to my new house! It had been vacant for a while so there were tons of unwanted guests! Highly recommend!
My mother has had Acme for several years. While they do well when they come out, they have proven to be inconsistent with charges (despite having a regular payment plan), and extremely poor with communication. She has attempted to call them multiple times and left voicemails with barely any response over the last several months. When she did get in contact with a representative, the individual told them they would call back and never did. She has called consistently every week for the last couple of months.
Justin Green consistently demonstrates a high level of professionalism and expertise. He takes the time to clearly explain his services and interacts courteously and attentively with our customers, even in busy environments. His reliability and integrity make him a trusted choice for anyone seeking dependable service. There are never any issues and that is a testament to Justin's work ethic and knowledge! We appreciate him here at Concord Pickleball!
Our ACME service providers have gone above and beyond on multiple occasions.
I've been using Acme Pest Control for a couple of years now and they’ve been fantastic. They come out quarterly to spray and check on my termite bait stations, and I’ve never had an issue. What really sets them apart is the customer service. Mike (pretty sure he’s the corporate manager) always follows up to check how the service went, which I really appreciate. Most recently, Andrew M. came out and was awesome—super knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. I recommend Acme to all my friends and neighbors. If you're looking for a pest control company that actually cares and knows what they're doing, these are your people.
I've been with acme for a couple years now and absolutely love them! Cooper is always so caring about our needs and making sure that my kids are safe. I truly appreciate that I can request the same person to service the house every time. I can build a relationship with them and he's aware of our problem areas and very vigilant about any issues we may have. Cooper found and killed a copperhead in our backyard once. He kept saying how glad he was that he found it and not my kids. I can't imagine any more real or genuine service than that.
I called Acme Pest Control in an absolute panic because there was a 5ft snake in my KITCHEN! The customer service was above board and they were able to respond so quickly. They took care of the snake and even walked through the house and basement to see if there was anything else they needed to handle. I am so thankful for Acme and their staff. Truly phenomenal people, especially for someone who has a severe fear of snakes like myself.
Acme Pest control is reliable and dependable! We do quarterly treatments which are reasonably priced and easy to schedule! Justin came today and was in and out quickly and efficiently.
Trey and team always keep me bug and rodent free! I’ve had problems with snakes and they treat that, too!! They’re great!
The team at ACME is professional courtesy and knowledgeable. So easy to work with and communication is exceptional.
Always show up, even at last minute notice! Super accommodating and kind. Couldn’t recommend more.
Always a positive experience working with Acme. Great communication, fair prices and always show up when they say they will.
Very reliable, trustworthy pest services. With a number of pets and children in the house, I’ve never had to worry that they were spraying anything unsafe. Left unattended in the home on a number of occasions and I’ve never thought twice. Highly, highly recommend Acme for your pest control needs.
Great customer service. Done in a timely manner. You will be taken care of with excellence.
I’ve been using Acme for pest control services both at my residence and at my place of employment for 15+ years, and they have always provided exceptional service and professionalism. They address any unique or one-off issues in a thorough and timely manner and always resolve the problem. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for any of their many professional services that they provide.

Brought a new house and had them do the active wood eating bug inspection. Come to find out 3 months later there’s an active termite problem they missed. For a professional company to miss this is crazy to me when there was clear evidence I pointed out to their tech and they told me it was flying ants. They came back out and want to charge me 1.5k to fix the problem they missed. I used them for other services in the past and all have been a mess. Not to mention their scheduling and operations mess, dealing with this company has been a nightmare in multiple properties I’ve owned.
Hired to complete termite inspection for a home we bought. It passed. Then I hired another pest control company to come out after purchase. Advised visible infestation. Confirmed life cycle is long. Contact acme. Initially mr horron said he would only charge me his cost to treat. I reported them to nc dept of agriculture. The state made the treat for free because they told him they didn’t have enough time to inspect all areas but, still issues the report. But I’m still stuck with covering the structural damage. O and when they sent a guy out here from acme they started quoting me on 20k encapsulation after I discovered that the lied and defrauded the report. What a joke. If you have issues I seriously suggest that you reach out to nc sept of agriculture structural and pest division for help
This company trespassed on our property without our permission to remove some termite traps that they had leased out to the previous owner of our home over six months ago. They left big holes throughout our property and we were told they would come back and fill those holes and they never did. The oblivious secretary who told us this would occur even called back a week later to ask us if we would like to start service with them. I mean just a poorly run company with obvious organization problems. Run the other way there are plenty of other well run businesses in the area.
I did business with Acme for many years. Until the last few years, with no issues. I began having billing issues 3-4 years ago and had to dispute billings almost every year. I was even charged for services at a home I no longer owned. (After they had been serving me in my new home for 7 years!) They seem to have difficulty keeping their records correctly. I was double serviced last year and double billed. After making a few calls they realized their mistake and cancelled charges for the mistaken second service charge. But almost a year later, they called insisting I owed and wanting payment. After so many billing issues, I've finally fired them and hired a different provider. After 18 years dealing with Acme you would have thought they would liked to kept me as a customer, but they didn't seem to care. I don't think they're dishonest, however, it seems they keep terrible records and are very disorganized. Be prepared to have billing errors.
I have used this company for pest control, and my experience has been awful. The communication with the customer service representatives isn't well. I had an appointment today and when I called to get an eta, they didn't have me on the schedule, they tried charging me for a service I didn't authorize, no one called or anything. I would recommended using a different company
They came and got a big wasps nest out of our backyard. Yes, they got the wasps to go away but if you own a dog I would NOT recommend this company at all. I have never left a review but this situation is ridiculous. When we asked if the chemicals they used to kill the bees was harmful to dogs they said no that we are completely fine. Well, it’s been a couple weeks since they came and this morning my 2.5 year old husky was digging in the back yard right at the tree where they serviced. She now has neurological damage and is at an emergency vet for the next 24-48 hours to be monitored. While she was at the hospital we were trying to get ahold of them to get the exact three chemicals they put in our backyard. The lady on the phone did not seem to care at all that our dog is potentially on her death bed and that we needed that information immediately. She made excuses as to why she couldn’t have the information to us within a couple minutes because she “just came back from lunch”. We called 10 minutes later asking if she got it and she said “Oh yeah I got to do that”. When she finally gave us information she only gave us two out of the three chemicals used and refused to tell us the third. We had to threaten with an attorney to get the final chemical they used on our property. It is obvious that their customer service did not care one bit.

If you want nothing but trouble and stress with your home repairs and pest control go ahead and use Acme Pest Control in Concord/Kannapolis. If you want a stress free and good experience, for the love of God, do not use them. Oh my! I had them come out to do a termite treatment, install a vapor barrier in my crawlspace, and install well vents at some ground level vents around my home’s foundation, which I’m under contract to sell and which repairs are required for the sell to go through. And oh the trouble. Let me preface by saying that after a week of stress, and having to complain at every stage, they did finally finish the job, but that’s only after all the issues, unprofessionalism, and headache. First, they did not finish the vapor barrier the day we agreed upon. There was some junk in my crawlspace that needed to be removed, and I probably should have thought to remove it on my own, however, contrary to the company’s claim (they called me a liar on the phone) they never mentioned that needed to be done. And on top of that, they failed to notify me they couldn’t finish the repairs that day, and that they would need to reschedule once the stuff was moved in order to finish the job. Instead, they left without a word, and I had to find out a day or two later on my own, when I had time to check the work that was supposed to be done, that it hadn’t been finished. That’s also when I realized they never installed the well vents, at all, period. Instead, they messed up and installed new “automatic” vents that were neither requested or needed at all, and instead of apologizing they claimed that their mistake could qualify as a “discount”. Uh. No. I don’t know in what world that makes sense. When I confronted them about all this, I was called a liar and given nothing but excuses and how a discount wasn’t justified because I got an extra service for free (the vents I didn’t ask for). Third, they stated they would be out on Tuesday to put the well vents in to correct not doing it last week, but when I checked that night, they hadn’t come out and installed them after all . Instead, they waited until the next day and put in the well vents along with finishing the vapor barrier that they promised to finish a week ago. Fourth. All of these repairs were being done, known to Acme, as repairs requested by the buyer of my home, which had to be done by closing (this coming Monday, originally this Friday), with documentation, for the sell to go through. So, in the end the repairs were finally, correctly, finished a week late, and mere days before closing, nearly putting the sell of my home and purchase of another home in jeopardy. In the end, no discount was provided and I was called crazy for expecting one by Mike Horton at Acme, contrary to their claims that the “extra service” which was done due to their error was a discount (which is not a discount, not my fault) and all the junk and stress I was put through and nearly causing a catastrophe to the sell of my home and the purchase of another, which was treated like just a tiny mistake with no remedy. I will never use Acme again, and I highly recommend against even contemplating their use. I’m assuming the termite treatment was done and done right, but I don’t know how to check that.

Thank you for allowing Acme Pest Control to take care of your service. At Acme we are normally known for our high standard customer satisfaction. We apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused. Acme Pest Control wishes you the best in transitioning to your new location.
The tech was great when he came out to my home. However, I was told that the chemical would last for at least 3 months. Our house was sprayed on May 6th and it is now May 25 and I have ants again. When I call them they tell me they are going to charge a $50.00 fee to come out again it hasn't even been 30 days. They should stand behind the product's they use and not charge someone to come out again with in a 30 day time frame. I mean if it had been 2 months even I could understand but not less than 30.
I moved to a new home back in March of 2016. I had them come out in September of 2016 with no problems. Then, in April of 2017 I set up a service with ACME. I made sure they had the correct address, she even said it back to me. But the order was hand written for the tech and it sent them to my previous address. Why the lady did not delete that address when confirming my correct one is beyond me. However, the technician came to my correct house and performed the service for me and made a note [THAT I SAW HIM WRITE DOWN] about my correct address. Well, that was April and in May I still have ants. So, I called them to come back. They said it would be $50. I was like, ok- you're the one who didn't get rid of them the first time, but ok. Well, they went to the wrong house again. So, my old previous address, was still obviously on my file. Now they don't want to come to my correct address without me paying for services conducted at a house I have not lived in since March of 2016. It is not my fault that my records were not updated. I told the woman in September 2016 and in April of 2017. The technician wrote it down in front of my eyes at my home. They were supposed to go inside of my home today. No one called me to let me know they could not get in when they were at the wrong address. But ACME claims they did the service there- they couldn't have went inside!!!! I am just so very disappointed. $175 in April and in less than 8 weeks I have bugs again and you do not accept responsibility for not updating your own records. I'm sure you made my ex-husband happy though, he got a free half-butt pest control service TWICE- since you never went inside his home but say you performed the service.....smh.
