I have been using Plunkett's Pest Control for nearly 2 years. I appreciate their reminder email several days before our quarterly treatment and that their technician arrives at the scheduled time. Steven treated the exterior of our house today and provided feedback on what treatment he had applied and additional feedback on the numerous bait stations surrounding our house.

I need to make an addendum to the below review. The regional manager reached out to me and was very apologetic for my experience and refund was made. This really says something about a company who takes customer service serious. The technician also came to our house to pick up equipment and also was very apologetic and kind. I’ve read other reviews from other companies who become very defensive instead of trying to fix a potential issue so I applaud Plunkett’s for going above and beyond reaching out to me. While I’m guessing Plunkett has good pest control services in other areas of the country, my experience in Santa Fe, NM has not been as good. We had original inspection of the property about 2 months ago by someone who seemed quite knowledgeable and we had assumed he would be our regular technician. Unfortunately, the actual technician who showed up to do the work, while a very nice guy, just didn’t seem to know what he was doing. We always give the benefit of the doubt and had the technician come back to address a gopher problem, which I was assured an issue Plunkett’s could deal with when I scheduled. I was told the technician would call to schedule an appointment but instead was sent an email telling me when he would arrive. You should be aware Plunkett’s charges $159 just to come out and confirm that you have gophers (which they say will be applied to your $500 treatment which only includes 4 traps and 2 visits in 1 month.) The technician came and confirmed we had gophers (big surprise) but would need to talk to his boss about how to treat and would get back to me with proposal. “Crickets” after a week so I finally called back to first be told “I’m not sure why he didn’t send it to you so I’ll send now” but then after operator looked further she said, “Now I see what the problem is…we don’t do varmint control in your area.” Though they happily charged my credit card $159. We live in an area FULL of varmints so Plunkett’s really should be more in tune with the area they are serving or not service this area. I quickly cancelled our service with operator and have a new company who specializes in Southwest pest control coming to assess the area.

Ramon was thorough. He noticed the issue right away and noticed the problem on the other side of the house. When I asked if he could go back up and take a picture he did not hesitate. He fixed what he could and help me talk through explaining the issue to someone who could possibly fix it. Valuable employee and should be treated as such.

Suddenly, I was dealing with a mouse invasion! Plunketts sent Jason the very next day to begin the resolution of the problem. Thank you for the excellent service that started with a phone call answered by Krista and will continue until the issue is completely resolved. Whew! Plunketts to the rescue! Thank you so much!!!

Also employs use of contraceptive and vitamin agents to kill and control rodents to avoid harming non target animals.

Mike Christiansen, Plunkett's rep, provided outstanding customer service. He called en route to let me know his estimated arrival, was courteous and professional upon arrival, answered all questions and provided some additional suggestions. All and all really wonderful experience. thank you, Mike.

Unlike other reviewers my experience with Plunkett’s was not positive. While we were on vacation our house sitter experienced rodent entry into our garage. The technician set traps but did not plug the holes at either end of the garage door seal, which is where they chewed through. The holes were small (half the size of a ping pong ball) but the tech said “they don’t do that”. When I arrived home I easily plugged the holes with steel wool, which will work fine until Amazon delivers a new seal. $372.99 for pointless work. Not impressed.

We bought a condo in i The historic district of Santa Fe. There was evidence of rodent activity, but could not tell if it was recent or now. I called two companies who either did not follow-up or would not come to do a basic evaluation. Enter Mario with Plunketts, who was on time to all of his appointments, did a full property evaluation in person and in email and offered suggestions for future mitigation. Great guy, with superior service.
