SavATree removed Juniper tree damaged from winter storm on February 23rd. They removed tree and cleaned debris. They did a nice job. I would recommend them.

They were on time, very efficient, very careful and did a perfect cleanup of multiple large branches brought down by snowstorm. They also winched a leaning tree back to nearly vertical.

Eric and his team were extremely professional and their work was very high quality! It was very easy to communicate directly about the urgent work we needed done. I’ll be going back to them when needed in the future!

Tree trimmers came on time & did a very good job pruning and shaping 6 trees on my property. They also cleaned up the area after they finished.

Eric and the team at SavATree are the only people we trust to help us keep our giant tree healthy! We inherited a sycamore that is 100+ years old and is the shade for four houses in our neighborhood. We love our tree and want to make sure it stays in great shape-Eric and the team have helped with treatments and trimming to make sure it is always at it's best.

Fertilized lawn. On time and neat

I asked our arborist for a quote for hedge trimming and had one in a couple of days. After accepting the quote, SavATree came the very next day and completed the job.

Excellent service. Extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Knowledgeable arborist. The trees are responding well to the kelp based fertilizer, helpful in the drought conditions. Service staff is punctual and thorough.

Avoid. They came late May. Diagnosed my plants with aphids. They had already done the spring treatment so said it may be a little time. They finally came and fertilized the plants first which seemed bizarre to pay that money to feed the aphids. Aphids continued to multiply. Finally called them early July to say when is my aphid treatment scheduled? . It wasn’t but they did it that week. A Tech, not properly trained, used high pressure and at times appeared to be trying to blow the aphids to kingdom come. The spray went everywhere on my house, on my car, on me (12 feet away around a corner). Soon as he left, rained it all off. They did agree to reapply and do come today another two weeks later. Almost two months since I contracted them, Aphids have multiplied, leaves are falling off the shrubs exposing bare wood (photo attached). This is what $400 got me. Terminated service now. Will buy stuff from Home Depot now. Hope it works. Arborist was very nice.

I've had a couple of good experiences with them besides this last year. But I paid a lot of money only to have them fall beyond short of what I hired them for. I told them I wanted stronger grass and to fill up all of the patches I have. Those are the only two goals I'd like completed. They said ok and that I'd have to get the full treatment to see the best results (about 5 months of various treatments). I trusted them and had them work on my lawn for well over a thousand dollars throughout the summer. My grass looks the same, if not worse. I was also told from one of the specialists that the seeding used on my lawn was the wrong type when considering the sunlight exposure. They also barely aerated and seeded the areas that needed it the most. I've voiced my concerns and was told they would help me out, but the last time I spoke to them they didn't offer any remediation. Beyond frustrating. Never using them again and would also recommend a smaller company to hopefully get some better quality control. And after cancelling almost 6 months ago, they still sent someone to my house to fertilize some bushes. If I wasn't home to tell him I cancelled, they would've charged me for this service too.

I'd give less starts if I could. Scheduling SavATree in the first place was a pain. There was no immediate availability and I had to wait nearly 4 days for an "arborist" to provide an assessment. When Evan did show up, he committed to sending a proposal. After eight days of silence, I followed up and didn't receive a callback. When I called back saying that I'd be moving forward with other quotes unless I heard back, Evan finally got back to me, only to say that he couldn't conduct the service or provide a competitive quote. Thanks for wasting my time, referrals to follow...

Not happy how they handled the scheduling of the tree service. They took the job, but never gave a service date. I had a long wait and I had to wait 3 months to have the branches be removed. Finally, they showed up while I was away. They charged me in thousands and did not cut the branches as I had explained and for what purpose. It did not seem like the service guy was listening other than hell bent on explaining the technicalities of what could and could not happen.

Terrible Company, they have policies in place that are quite ridiculous !! I guess the company is doing great and they don't need an extra couple thousands of dollars in the bank. They lost out on a big account, since I will NEVER recommend or seek their business on any future endeavors !

They charged me for a service that had not been completed and was not very communicative about finishing the job: First they couldn’t perform the service because there was no street parking available (my doorbell camera said otherwise), then came, did front yard, and provided a note that they would return the following Monday to finish. No one came on Monday to finish but my credit card had been charged so I called the office. The office manger said that it was rescheduled for Wednesday as if I somehow should have known? I have been a customer for a few years and never had an issue but this was poor customer service - rude, lack of communication, no explanation, no apologies.

I saved more than $1000 this year by not signing up the service, and I waited to make sure if this problem is from my lawn or this company. Last year by fall, half of my lawn was complete covered by weed and the other half was gone from grubs, every single time that I called and mentioned my concerns, the answer was dont worry this will be fixed after a year or two but at the end my lawn was completely stressed and damaged. This year I did a favor to my lawn and I took over the nutrition and weed control so far it looks way better than last year. I picked save a tree although the service was the highest proposed between the others in the area but I picked them to make sure I am working with professionals. Out every 10 emails I sent maybe I got one response back. and at end just after I kept telling them that my lawn has grubs, they just added handful of seeds. If I did not treat my lawn for grubs this spring again I would have an ugly lawn like last year.

Buyer Beware, I take absolutely no pleasure in writing a review like this but I am left with little recourse since this company has refused to contact me regarding their work. I hired Save A Tree to remove several trees around my property. They couldn't have done a more sloppy job and they destroyed half my lawn. Half the grass on my front lawn is dead, I have huge areas that are just piles of dirt from their equipment and I am going to have to replace half my lawn. Where they dragged the trees out from my back yard, the ground cover has been destroyed. Additionally, there were two trees that were supposed to be removed and they were left. One tree was to be trimmed and there are still many branches that are dangerously close to falling and clearly should have been removed. The ground cover around that tree has been trampled and destroyed. I have contacted them several times to no avail. I will have to resort to other means to be compensated for the damages to my property. As soon as I asked for a make good and sent in photos of the damage, I did not hear from them again. I will be reviewing on other sites, contacting the better business bureau and others to make certain anyone hiring this company is aware of my experience. Avoid this company. Hire them at your peril.
