Been with MS in Mountainside for 3 seasons. Original reason was for control of grass gnats becoming increasingly out of control in my backyard. My property consists partly of lowlands adjacent to my backyard. Owner was uncertain that his service would be effective and offered a full refund if unsatisfied. Only my yard and bordering trees are sprayed. The gnat population has definitely lessened and appears under control. The mosquito population is also under control. Every technician on-site has been diligent, responsive and polite as has the owner.

Since 2019, we have relied on Mosquito Shield, and after experimenting with other vendors, we found that none could match their results. We've been using Mosquito Shield for the last four years and could not be more satisfied. I can't remember the last time I saw a mosquito in our yard. I want to especially commend Nafis Wright for his attention to detail. He even asks if there are particular areas that we feel may need special attention.

This is my 3rd year with Mosquito Shield of East Central New Jersey and I can’t be more content with their service. Mosquitos were a major nuisance in my yard and I’ve finally been able to use my outdoor area as we so much love to do.

They are very good. Comes every other. Huge difference with Mosquito control. We have a big yard so having Mosquito shield guard us from mosquitos makes a big difference. Also, the customer service is great. They listen and respond to you quickly.

I can't say that I've noticed a decrease in mosquito activity from years past. When sitting in the yard in the evening I'm still getting bitten.

Very professional operation. They answered all my questions, came when they said they would, and without so many mosquitos biting me I could finally enjoy my yard. A family member ended up having an allergic reaction to something in the spray so we had to cancel, and I was pleasantly surprised how easy they made it. I’d absolutely recommend this company. Only problem is we are allergic to their product even though they said most people aren’t. Oh well Plus the mosquitos came right back like a couple days later so I can’t justify this

I know this season we had issues with the gate being locked. The call ahead didn’t work for us as well as last year. Your scheduled for regular service this upcoming Monday. We are happy to refresh at any point, asap with no extra cost. Anything to keep you satisfied with our service/customer service. I will be personally reaching out to you. I hope we can come to a better solution of accessing your property so service is consistent. We strive to do better! Worst service. I called to cancel because I see more thicks on my dog and even saw one in the living room in the house, and the person that called me back gave me an attitude and told me “thicks don’t walk around the house” and hung up on me. Don’t use their service!

Hello Mr. Roman. We apologize for the misunderstanding. We have you on a recorded call received from our call center in which you mention you would like to cancel. When asked your reason for cancelation you stated, Mosquitoes were in your home. However, you did not sign up for Mosquito Control, you only signed up for Tick Control. When you were placed on hold for the call to be transferred to a manager the call was lost. We called you back immediately, less than a minute later to correct the issue and explained that you did not have Mosquito Control and only had Tick Control. Therefor you would still see Mosquitoes. At that moment you stated you wanted to proceed with canceling. We asked if we could clarify and attempted to explain how our services work. Your next statement was "I see a tick walking in my house now and on my dog so please just cancel my account." Your account was canceled while you were still on the phone and a confirmation email was sent right after the call. We have built this business on our customer service. It is unfair that you would leave a negative review when your intentions were to cancel and not allow us to rectify the situation.
When I first started with these guys, their customer service was good and product worked really well. This summer the treatment did not work as well and the ppl they had coming to spray were lazy and did not do the work (move stuff around, spray under deck etc). When I called in to ask if they can come by and treat my house a week earlier the owner gave me attitude, but still came. Mind you these ppl charge premium for their service so I expect the same in return. The tropical storm came and I asked if they can stop by again due to the treat being washed away. The owner just said no gave me attitude on how he isnt going to treat my house again. This is just a simple story of someone who's getting to big for their britches and now offers a mediocre product with terrible customer service. I gave them 2 stars because they were good when we first started.

I paid approx. $800 for Mosquito Shield’s services this summer. My family has gotten eaten alive by mosquitos. They guarantee that if you have a lot of mosquitos, they can come in between sprays to do an extra spray. I called 3 times in one week for an extra spray and they still haven’t come. It’s been 17 days since my last spray and they think they might come tomorrow. When they tell you 10-17 days in between sprays, they really mean 18 days. I shouldn’t have to call all the time to keep up with their service. I’m paying for a service and they should provide it hassle-free. I will NOT be wasting my money with them next summer. I’m completely disappointed.

The treatment was no longer effective - both my kids and myself got bit so bad that we needed to go urgent care. We called them to stop coming and they agreed to refund us the unused treatments. They never refunded us and after multiple follow up emails, we are still waiting for them to response.
