We highly recommend Catch-It Wildlife and Pest Control, Inc. We had a bird stuck in our chimney flu struggling to be set free. Garrett came out and addressed the situation quickly. The beautiful bird was alive and was gently removed and set-free!

Response from Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control, Inc.

Thank you for the review. Glad we could help the bird out of the flu and prevent that from happening again.

Garret came to my house the day after I discovered and called Catch-It regarding a hole that a varmint dug under my patio. He had a hunch that it was probably a skunk and sure enough that night a skunk was trapped. I called him the next morning and informed him of the catch. He came out to pick it up later that day. He left the traps in place for another few days and nothing else was caught. He came to pick up the traps and cover the hole (exclusion work.) Garret was knowledgeable, clear about the services he would provide and the cost. He is also a friendly person who is good at communicating. I was very impressed with Garret and Catch-it and will not hesitate to use them as needed in the future.

Response from Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control, Inc.

Garrett is the MAN!!! Thank you Karen for the kind words. So much appreciated. Please let us know if we can help in any way in the future.

Wouldn't hire this company again. There was no proof of catching any moles and I was charged three months after the traps were removed. Traps used were awful quality and wouldn't be re-set after being triggered, which happened constantly. All while nothing was caught. I bought my own traps and was much more successful. Caught multiple moles after the owners traps were removed

Response from Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control, Inc.

Thank you, Vincent, for your review. We got a behind on invoicing with the amount of work that we do. So, my apologies for that. The traps are all in working condition and are fully functional. We still use traps that have been in service for over 30 years. They still catch moles. Not surprising that you are catching moles after we pulled our traps. We do offer a yearly service for moles. But if the habitat is there, they will come from the neighbor's yard into yours. So not surprised that still have moles. Have customers that we have caught moles for for over 30 years. Please let us know if we can be of service in the future. Thank you

Highly recommend Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control. Our technician is Ben. He is highly knowledgeable, very honest, and a great communicator. He clearly conveyed his findings and treatment options/considerations now and moving forward in reference to our bat issue. Thank you so much!

Response from Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control, Inc.

Jenifer thank you for review. Ben is extremely knowledgeable, patient and honest as you stated. Ben and I both appreciate your review. Thank you

Your driver needs to stop tailgating people through rush hour traffic. I wasn’t even in the fast lane and I couldn’t go any faster due to all the traffic in front of me. He was getting ridiculously close to the back of my car for no reason. Hopefully whatever pest related emergency he was trying to fly through traffic, aggressively tailgating people turned out OK.

Paid $1100 to have bats removed and attic entrance blocked. They found no bats in attic and sealed off one opening. Different company came, found 2 other openings, dead bats and a lot of guano (bat poop) that Catch-It did not. I asked for a partial (not full) refund, they called me and said they stand by what they did and no refund. Videos attached from what this company DID NOT FIND. EDIT: above is original review - this is a reply to their response....Nowhere in their response do they say I am inaccurate and that they did a complete job. If they are interested in seeing "the videos I claim to have" they are here in my original review. This place is awful and you can see many similar stories to mine in all the one star reviews. Send your business somewhere else. In 3 trips to my house, Catch-It was there a total of about 30 minutes. The company I paid more to was there for over 3 hours in one visit. Very shoddy and the owner is downright rude to talk to.

Response from Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control, Inc.

Still stand behind what my technician did. We offer a one-year warranty. He never called to see if we could come back out. Which I would have gladly done. We stand behind our work. Always have, always will. He just said he called another company and paid them $2,000. Whether there was something we missed or something the other company thought that was a point of entry is the question. And since we did not have a chance to take a look because we offered our one-year warranty I guess no one will ever know. The bats will die if they do not all go out in time. There were no dead bats present when we did the work. We offered clean up. But Stephen declined the cleanup. All this is explained to EVERY customer via the technician when on property. It is also discussed via my office staff or myself. We do a significant amount of bat work. Whether the other company found anything is really the question. I would be interested in seeing the video he said he can provide.

We had some issues hearing scratching noises and noticed a small area that was open by our soffit where something was getting in. We called up these guys late on a Friday and by Tuesday they had traps set. Our tech was Blake he did a great job and trapped a total of 6 squirrels ahh!! In less than two weeks they had the problem resolved and repaired. Prices seemed reasonable and on par with other providers. So thank you, to the Catch-it wildlife and shout out to Blake for taking care of us!! Would recommend!

Response from Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control, Inc.

Thank you so much Sara for the positive review. Blake is a very good technician. Glad that we could help. Again, thank you for the review.

Don't bother. After 3 and 1/2 Weeks traps in our yard, I had not seen a single mole captured even though the technician said they'd gotten a couple. I saw no evidence of such. They charged us $300 just to set the traps and they were going to charge another hundred for each mole they caught. You might want to try a smaller more local business if you want to get somebody to get rid of moles because these folks are just too busy. I know the technicians are on their run all of the time and I'm sure it's very hard to check all of their thousands of traps. But the only thing I'm really concerned about is whether or not I'm getting any service for my money and I can realistically say the answer is no. Update: we just received a bill for another $100 for a mole that the technician said he caught but we never saw. I specifically told the technician when he was setting the traps that I wanted to see physical evidence including a picture of any mole before they billed us. I would recommend that before you undertake any business with this company that you make it very clear in writing to the central office that you want to see physical evidence by way of pictures or other means documenting that a mole was actually caught on your yard. Otherwise you could be billed for something that you have no evidence of having actually taken place. The name of their company indicates they trust that they can catch things but based on what happened in our yard I have no evidence that they caught anything after many weeks and more than $400. I am not suggesting that they are doing anything fraudulent, I'm just suggesting that consumers should be aware that they need to have evidence that moles are being caught before they pay any bills.

Response from Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control, Inc.

Hey Chris, appreciate the feedback. Talked with the tech and he stated you seen the first mole. And your wife paid the invoice. Then the tech caught a second mole, but you were up on the back deck and told him that you did not want to see the mole. You are the first person in 36 years to accuse my company of lying about a catch. I really do not appreciate that. You don't think that would have been brought up in the last 36 years if that was true? Your character is not looking good with this review. Good luck with any other company you use in the future. You might want to get off the back deck if they tell you they caught a mole.

Had some coons and squirrels that had put holes in the side of my house to make a nice home of their own in my attic. I used another company a couple of years ago and wasn't impressed. I spoke with Steve the owner over the phone. He told me it would be $300 to do an inspection for our bat issue, and when I started to question the price he told me they would also clean up all our old insulation, perform negative atomization(?) to help with guano germs, that the tech would take photos of each entry point for bats and give me a powerpoint at the end of our session, and talked over me our entire 20 minute conversation about how I could trust his business. I booked an appointment and the tech was very nice, but also apologetic about the price which is clearly steep for just an inspection--and I say "inspection" loosely because none of the other promises were carried out. The tech didn't even look in the fireplace, where my plumber found a dead bat. No powerpoint was made or shown to me. And in horror about the misleading conversation I'd had, he explained to me the insulation cleanup would be more money, maybe $ hundreds if not more, and each entry point in the walls would be $100 to patch. I emailed Steve to express my frustration at having paid $300 for effectively... nothing, and to talk it through privately but he never responded. So here I am, leaving a review. I guess this is what this ~trustworthy~ business does; they will charge you a ridiculous and arbitrary number then run. I will also be reporting to BBB. Don't waste your money :)

Response from Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control, Inc.

Chloe I am sorry you misunderstood my description of our services. There is no way that we can clean an attic of insulation and install new insulation for $300. I would not even be able to buy the insulation for $300. Then there would be labor. on top of that. Then you state that you never got a "PowerPoint" presentation. Been saying that for years. No one has ever taken me literally. We do not come out with a projector and a screen. What I stated that we will do LIKE a PowerPoint presentation to explain the pictures that we have taken to inform you of what we found on the roof and in the attic. My apologies that I guess I wasn't clear enough for you to understand what our services were. Best of luck to you and your bat problem. Thank you

Received a bid and scheduled with the owner to take care of tenants on Monday. Advised via text on Friday "you made need keys to get in if tenants are not home." Owner's reponse: "Thank you. I'll get this scheduled for Monday." I called to get an update on Tuesday, keys still in the office. Now apparently is when they advise it's against compamy policy to enter if no one is home. Tenants know feel we are lying to them about sending someone out to take care of issue. Tenants called as their 18 month old was getting into traps set by vendor who was out on Monday. Tenant asked for vendor to not come back til they move out. Both young children found traps that were left by Catch-it Wildlife, even though owner insisted today they have never been there. They used old school traps with peanut butter, in a house with two youngster and let in by a minor, as adults were not home. 7/14/25, thank you for your response, however, no one from KCPS called on 6/23/25, I was not even in the office that day. I called you on Tuesday because in the translation from spanish to english I said the wrong thing. The owner insisted they had not been at our property and kept yelling at me they do not operate this way. So we reached out to the tenant, with our bilingual employee and they advised that it was a trap with something on it. The bilingual employee referred to it as old school traps and it fits your response was why replace something that works. I was more upset about the traps being placed in the living room for the toddlers to find. I have no proof of your exclusion services provided or anything like that your bill is way to vague to tell what was done at the property. After the office heard you yelling at me that you have never been to the property, I got off the phone to check with every vendor I contacted to see if by some chance they showed up. Obviously your new technician needs to be trained better as he showed up on Monday, when you advised me it would be scheduled and you advised it was not scheduled til Tuesday. Then you lie and say I called the office and they sent someone. Please get the FACTS straight. I am not going to call when I am off the day from work. I called Tuesday as the keys left for pick up were still here in the office when I returned to work and the tenant called advising they were moving immediately because their children where endangered by your process. We lost tenants because of the way you handle your business.

Response from Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control, Inc.

Yes, you received a bid for the mouse work for a property that you stated had rodent activity. In that bid, a proposal was stated that we determine the points and entry, seal those up and set traps to remove mice within the structure. You agreed and said to go out and perform the service. Which we did. This is where the confusion started. I had scheduled this for Tuesday. You then called the office and talked to one of my office staff and they sent a technician out that day, Monday. He is a new technician and a very good technician. He did make the mistake of entering the home and there were two teenagers there. Then you call me the next day and say what kind of bait stations we put in the home. My statement was it was not us because we do not install bait stations within the home. Bait stations are always placed on the exterior. You were adamant that we installed bait stations within the home. You then call back and say the neighbor entered the neighbor’s home and removed the traps. Not sure about the “old school traps”. In my industry, probably 80% of companies handle mice the same way. They are newer traps. They have a larger pan than “old school traps” of about 10 years ago.

This company is a SCAM. After hiring them to inspect my home it was $300, which I paid POS no problem. For YEARS NOW they have called every couple of months stating they never received payment. I shared my bank records, emailed them and proved that I had paid POS. They sent me another receipt saying "Oops, sorry our fault." But THEY CONTINUE TO HARASS ME for not paying. I have blocked their number. But you can see how many customers are complaining about their predatory "business" practices. This company is a scam. They WILL harass you. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Avoid this company at all costs – total scam! I requested a quote to remove a bat from my attic. They charged me $300 for an inspection and quoted about $700 for the actual job. However, when I called to ask questions about the process, the so-called "expert" (who claims to have 35 years of experience) rudely refused to answer, acted unprofessionally, and abruptly hung up on me. Shortly after, they refused to do the job, saying it wasn’t profitable for them. Instead, they demanded I pay the inspection fee and threatened to send it to collections if I didn’t. This company is dishonest, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time and money. Stay far away!

Response from Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control, Inc.

First, she sent a “service ticket” from my website. She stated that she had a bat issue in her home. I responded quickly to this ticket explaining the fees and the service that we provide. She accepted the fees, so a technician was promptly deployed to her home to do the inspection to determine the points of entry. The technician also went into the attic and found a significant amount of bat guano. The technician took pictures as usual to show the homeowner what was found during our inspection. The technician wrote up the contract and the customer requested an estimate on clean-up of bat guano in the attic once bats were removed. She stated that it was urgent because they were selling the home.

I immediately emailed a proposal for the attic clean-up. Worked on the proposal until 6:00 PM because she stated she needed it promptly. Once she received the clean-up proposal, she stated that she didn’t need it. She needed a proposal of the service to remove the bats. So, I explained it to her over the phone. Again, I had already sent her the service ticket with all this information as stated. The technician explained it again per company policy after the inspection and during him writing up the contract.

Then she called the office and spoke with one of my office staff. Office staff explained again verbally and even sent her another email explaining the fees.

Then several hours later her husband called and asked if I could explain the fees and process again.

At this point we had verbally discussed the process and the fees about five times, written two emails with the explanation of the process and fees. Unfortunately, I was unable to keep explaining the process because of other duties and customers. At this point, I apologized to her that we as a company failed to explain that her and her husband could understand. I stated that she should reach out to another company so that she might be able to understand them better.

After all this she does not want to pay for the inspection fee that my technician performed at her home and we had explained many, many times. It appears she is now upset.

Prompt service that came out to my house the next day, Friday, after my call following finding a rat in the basement. Owner of the company came but didn’t have his correct truck with all his rat catching “tools” so had to come and meet him again the following Monday. Explained how everything worked and really was a talker about it all. Had to meet again on Tuesday because once again didn’t have all the “tools” he needed and wanted to set up cameras as there was no dead rat from the poison Explained that a multipoint inspection would be done around the property (but to my knowledge was never done). Another employee came out the next week to pick up the poison. While he was there he asked me if I wanted a pipe sealed up and I asked if I would be charged extra which he said no. Previously Steve said he would not seal that up for me so I wanted to confirm it would not be extra. Later I was billed $400 for it all. I called immediately and one of the two women in the office told me I’d have to talk to Steve about billing. I was then charged on my card without my authorization. After calling the company multiple times, I finally got a call back from Steve saying he runs a business and has been doing so for 34 years and doesn’t have logs (or does and he just won’t use his time to look at them after I asked) and would not provide me information on when the inspection was done etc. We have clearly disagreed on the billing of services and he told me over the phone he would dispute my review if I left one. Go for it, Steve. Started out with a positive experience with Catch It Wildlife but ultimately would only recommend them in a bind and if you know your billing facts beforehand. Honestly, I’d try to find a different company if I were you! Edited to reply to my replied review by CatchIt: I live 3 minutes away from the property that we rented to a tenant for a year. When I was texted or called when the employee was 5-10min away when they wanted to pop by, I was unable to drop everything and meet him. After reviewing cameras around the property, I can confirm that an outside inspection was not completed. I asked about logs or documentation of when the employee came out for an inspection but the paperwork or day and time could would not be given to me.

Response from Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control, Inc.

Had came out in my personal truck which I explained to her. Mentioned that I did not have all my supplies in my personal truck. She accepted that since this was a rental property of hers and she stated that the tenants had seen a rat. I offered to install rodenticide to try and expedite the process because I believe the tenant had used traps or another company and was unsuccessful. Therefore, we went with rodenticide to eliminate the rat ASAP. We did set up a camera to determine if a rodent was present and after a week of no activity was recorded. There were several times that was not mentioned that I had tried to enter the home and it was not convenient for her so had to schedule again. The inspection was done of course. She lives several blocks away. The technician that came out did the inspection. Again, this is a rental she was difficult to schedule with. Not sure what she means about logs. I can account for all my technicians’ daily activities. No idea what this means. Not sure what she is disputing. Between the technician and I we both probably made about 4-5 trips to the property, including the times when she was unable to meet us there. The services that were provided are explained by both parties. We do have to charge for our service.

I feel the need to share my experience. For starters, No Show/No Call for at least 4 scheduled appointment times including the owner. Costly repairs to prevent bat roof entry were partially completed yet obvious and visible from the street. I requested to speak to the owner prior to additional repairs. I wanted assurance the repairs would be completed, would blend in with the home, and would prevent additional expensive remediation. The owner was extremely rude, unprofessional and condescending, especially when speaking with my wife. He refused the opportunity to make the repairs right or complete the prepaid job. Photos of the repair workmanship are attached. Save yourself problems and find a quality contractor.

Response from Catch-It Wildlife & Pest Control, Inc.

Technician went out to finish the work and the customer told technician to leave that they hired another company. A competitor came out for an insulation bid. Looked at our work and started bad mouthed my company and the work we did. Customer believed this and when technician came to finish the job told the technician that they had hired the other company and did not want us to finish. Three weeks later customer texts me and asked if she can call me that evening. She calls. Asked when we are going to finish the job. My response was that they told my technician to leave and that they hired another company. During the conversation they stated that “you can see the repairs”. All repairs can be seen. They do not make invisible sheet metal. All repairs are with colored metal per our agreement which he read and signed. The metal blends in very well. Over 30 years doing the same repairs. First complaint about seeing a repair. Never rude to customers. Talked with them both for about 20 minutes. We had a discussion. Zero arguments. More of a discussion. My opinion both parties were civil. All repairs were completed that were paid for. The pictures that are posted are not the repairs. Any repairs that we did are not in the pictures. The screen are part of the exclusion to remove the bats from the home. Competitor is a national franchise called Critter Control which was purchased by Orkin in 2015 has always been a franchise. Even before Orkin bought the Critter Control franchise in 2015. Unfortunately, their salesman badmouths my company to make a sale and get the commission that they pay the salesmen. Sadly, they thrive on people’s lack of knowledge. Told them that they should have called to discuss before hiring another company since we are not a franchise and stand behind our work. They stated the other company was going to charge them to do more repairs. Customer believed all the negative stuff that they told them and now must pay them more money. Customer also tried to get chargeback on their credit card twice. Both times they failed because all calls are recorded. The calls from the customer were all positive until the franchise Critter Control salesmen came out. Sad part is that the customer ended up paying twice for the same work that could have been done by paying once. This was an expensive lesson for Mr. Overley. Hence the review.
