Bear Pest Control

Living in North Oaks is a challenge as critters seek shelter during the winter. We used Bear Pest Control to make this a non issue during our time in our house.

We had used Bear Pest Control for a hornet issue in our home last year and they cleared it up beautifully! So when MICE became an issue this year I knew exactly who to call: Bear. I called after hours and Troy returned my call by 8:10 the next morning. We scheduled a consultation for the following afternoon. Troy circled my home with me showing me potential access points where the mice could be coming in ultimately identifying a location that would need to be addressed by a contractor. (Yes, I caught a mouse outside that area that night!) He didn't try to sell me anything, or push a contract (like another local pest control company did to my parents to place poisin around their home). When I asked if I could write him a check for a site visit he said no need. Honest, prompt, customer focused family business - that I will be returning to again next time!

I really like this company. We use them for mouse control. They notify us in and Vance that they will come, our life isn’t interrupted and we no longer have to worry about our mice issue. I also think they are reasonably priced. Mitch Hunt is the tech that provides our service. I’m impressed by his accountability and professionalism. I’m very happy with this company.

We had Bear for the past 4 years. During that time we had an ant problem that Troy could never get rid of, and he angrily tried to drop us twice. Once because I was trying to understand their new pricing, and instead of explaining it to me I got a "find a different exterminator." I guess this most recent time he succeeded. He was mad that I asked about a bill I recieved, despite him ignoring me for a week then refusing to come out and treat. Again I got a "find another exterminator." Years ago, things started out promising, but he became so unbelievably rude, despite having his service for so long. And we ultimately still had wasps and ants that never went away.

Poor experience, never answer phones.

Bear Pest Control was an amazing company. I called them about an ant issue and they were out within two hours to come and spray and take care of the ants. They said that they would be back for as long as I needed them at no extra charge. Luckily I never had to call them back. It was the best service that I have ever had. I highly recommend Best Pest Control!

Came out 9 days ago and sprayed for ants and spiders. I was a bit skeptical when he said it would take 10 minutes and went around my house with a little spray bottle. Today I saw a spider in my bathroom just like always. Have not seen ants yet. Next time I will just fog my home myself. Much cheaper and just as effective I think.
