Outdoor Expressions recently helped me with a sump pump drainage reroute, which was a pretty odd job, and they did an excellent job. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service and Integrity After waiting for months while another contractor repeatedly promised to repair our pond plumbing and never showed up, we contacted Outdoor Expressions—and we're very glad we did. Matt came out promptly, diagnosed the problem as a failed 3" PVC valve, ordered the necessary part, and then did something that really impressed us: when the part arrived, he came out on a Friday evening after normal business hours, bringing his son along as part of his training, and together they professionally replaced our pond plumbing and the partially buried valve. They could easily have postponed the work until the following week, but knowing how long we had already been waiting and how anxious we were to get our pond running again, they gave up part of their Friday evening to help us. That level of customer service is increasingly rare. Their communication was excellent, their workmanship was first-rate, and they left the work area spotless. We were also genuinely impressed to see Matt teaching his son not only technical skills, but also what professionalism, integrity, and customer service should look like. Matt and his team transformed the drainage work in our yard. They put in French drains, drain tiles and a beautiful stone walkway last summer. It was a very complex project, and he and his team worked tirelessly to make sure it was right. Matt is easy to get ahold of and promptly corrects any issues. He recently hired an irrigation expert, Jesse, who was able to fix our irrigation system when no one else could. I will definitely use their services again! 100% recommend!

I guess they're not going to do a leave clean up or finish the rest of the edging and trimming this year. 😮 This is the second time they've come back to weed whip, yet they haven't trimmed anything and they're literally just blowing dirt from the parking lot all over tenants cars. This place is a joke. Also, kinda funny they have another Google Business review to avoid all the recent (this summer) 1 star reviews. Now they're telling tenants to put in"maintenance requests" to do weed whipping. This is outlandish lol. That doesn't even make sense. There's OVERGROWN WEEDS ALL OVER THE PROPERTY! Specifically towards the back where I'm assuming they think people don't look. RIGHT NEXT to the other property they mow (and also don't whip or trim). They don't even bring weed whips to the job. They literally do a half ass mow and dip out. For such large accounts, making thousands of $$ every summer to do such a poor job is crazy. Weed whipping, trimming, edging, blowing is a part of mowing. Do better! Never edge, never blow, there's overgrown weeds all over the complex and grass always left on tenants entries. DO BETTER Kinda wild how every time they "mow," it looks like they never mowed lol. Property be looking more patchy than my beard. They do lawn care at Stonehedge property in East Lansing. They purposely wait until the lawn is super long to mow, leaving huge clumps and tons of grass everywhere. They never trim, or edge or blow. According to the property management they have asked them to blow but they continually leave grass all over the tenants. Doorsteps and it's a considerable amount considering they wait weeks in between mowing. As someone who has owned his own lawn care company in the past, you would think they would do a better job at such a huge contracted company such as Stonehedge

Matthew designed a French drainage system for our sump discharge which was well integrated with the landscape. He and his hard working crew stayed committed to the project until it functioned perfectly. We appreciate the great design and efficient installation. Thanks, Matt!

They did a fantastic job - they even cleaned up leaves in our yard. They were responsible, easy to work with, and did quality work. I would highly recommend them.

Outdoor Expressions was hired to trim shrubs and remove a couple of dead bushes on our condo property. Ken's team did a fantastic job. They were very meticulous. Ken is very customer service oriented, answered all my questions and very responsive. Their costs are very fair and their work was worth every penny. And in addition, I occasionally have them do a few extra landscaping projects for me such as overgrown shrub removal, new shrub planting, mulch spreading and so on. Matt and his team completed an intensive landscaping job in our backyard. They removed a cement patio, sidewalk, cement step and giant pine tree stump. They then replaced the old cement with a beautiful brick sidewalk, patio, and step. Matt is great to work with, responsive, and conscientious in ensuring the job is done correctly. His team originally laid brick on the other side of the backyard and in this job, they united the two sides seamlessly. It’s beautiful and is now a great place to relax and entertain. We truly appreciate all of their hard work and sweat as they performed this all in 90-some degree temperatures.

Dangerous driver. Whoever is driving truck 26 needs to be fired, on his phone while driving, swerving all over the place, not to mention the excessive speeding. Do better..

I had a good feeling when a pleasant voice answered the phone. I had another good feeling when I met Brendan. Then we compared the estimate to re-landscape our back yard and it just felt right to sign on. Their fabulous crew removed trees, bushes, chain link fence, ground the stumps, prepped the planting beds, beautifully placed everything and topped it all off with a TON of mulch. We were thrilled with the results! (After all the ugliness was removed we noticed our side of the neighbors fence looked like crap. I sent a text to Brendan and he was there the next day and stained the fence!!) Had a couple bushes die, sent a note through their portal and Brendan was here in less than an hour (must have been driving right by) and promised to replace them. We decided to add their mowing service and got to meet Orlando. Another quality job with the detail I have come to expect from this excellent company.

As the President of our Condo Association I have had the pleasure of working with Ken Danes and his crew. This is a large and difficult property in areas to mow and plow. Whether it's lawn mowing, brick work, drainage projects or snow removal they have been here to make sure I have been happy with the job that was done. Orlando has been exceptional and if something needed to be addressed he was on top of it and had the issue corrected. They won't answer the phone. I've been calling all morning regarding protocol on if they would contact me prior to arrival. I have a service scheduled today with the arrival time range being 8-6 or 9-6 Super frustrating!

Outdoor Expressions has talented people, they are personable and have good follow through. We have been very pleased w/their services.

I really wanted to use this company, but really had a lot of difficulty even getting a quotation from them. After several calls and several weeks, they submitted a quotation which I considered to be unreasonably high. At the time I requested a quotation, they asked what my budget was, so my budget was not an unknown entity. Instead of wasting my time, and their time, they could have just stated from the onset that they could not do it within my budget and all would be well. This is not what I consider professional or courteous behavior.

We were so pleased that their outstanding crew did an excellent job with our landscaping maintenance work. It began with the designer who came to the house to look over the project and make some excellent suggestions for improving the edging and planting a new shrub. All of the work exceeded my expectations by far. The crew was friendly, helpful, professional and best of all, very experienced as evidenced by the high quality level of work down to the smallest detail, clean up! When I have future landscaping work, I will definitely be calling them again.
