Review: Extermination Experience – Very Unprofessional The exterminator who serviced my building on July 1st was extremely unprofessional and dismissive. He arrived around 11:30 a.m., well within the scheduled service window of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and briefly entered my apartment. I asked a few reasonable questions about the chemicals being used, as there were young children in the home recovering from a respiratory illness. Rather than provide any clarity or reassurance, he became hostile and refused to answer anything. Moments later, I saw him still in the hallway and asked if he could come back to finish the service. Instead of returning, he told me to “go speak to the leasing office” and walked away. There were only about nine units in the building — it wouldn’t have taken much for him to return, but he clearly chose not to. No photos were taken by the exterminator either, despite claims that documentation was provided. The only person who took any photos was a member of the building’s maintenance staff. The overall interaction felt aggressive, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Time was taken to prepare the apartment, stay home, and follow instructions — yet no service was provided due to the technician’s attitude. This kind of experience is unacceptable, especially when residents are trying to ask important questions related to health and safety.
