Ricky did an amazing job! He was incredibly sweet, respectful, and very knowledgeable about everything he was doing. He took the time to explain the process and made me feel comfortable and confident in the service. You can tell he really cares about his work and his customers. John Gant is a wonderful technician he did everything I asked of him to do on the inside and out during the rainy day service. He is an exceptional employee. Wonderful customer service.
I hired them to make my ants go away. They did that very effectively. No complaints and professional technicians. However, when they scheduled a quarterly service in January with several inches of snow on the ground I called them to cancel that service because I had no ants. I was then informed that their systems were so incapable of reasonable accomodations (like ice and snow and no ants because it's winter) that they canceled my service because I refused to pay them to come out then. So five stars for the product and zero stars for their business processes and customer service.

Today, January 23, 2026: We had our home sprayed today by the Technician (Amari). He was very professional, knowledgeable, and informative of other preventative methods to consider. Amari recommended that we go ahead and schedule our Annual Inspection to ensure our home stays secure (bug-free) like it is right now. We appreciate the extra effort he made with assisting to get that appointment scheduled. Definitely will continue to utilize EcoShield’s Services, and reccomend others request Amari as your Tech!

Representative did a very thorough inspection of any existing webs, nests, etc and got rid of any findings. Old glue traps were removed and new ones placed. Treated yard and house foundation and windows outside, and in garage and basement. He explained everything he was doing prior to and after the treatment. Excellent service!

I have had a great experience so far. John was so helpful, quick, and very thorough. For reference, I have the quarterly package where a tech comes out to treat my home every few months which is especially beneficial during the colder months.
I signed a pest control agreement with Ecoshield in November 2024 with the clear understanding that every service would include both interior and exterior treatments. On multiple occasions, technicians sprayed only the exterior without knocking or attempting to come inside. When I attempted to cancel due to this failure to provide agreed-upon service, I was told I would still be responsible for paying for the entire year. After continued pest activity following treatments, I contacted the company again. Another technician came out and said an inspection was needed to determine where pests were entering. The branch manager later confirmed that a thorough inspection would be done to address the issue. The inspection experience was deeply concerning. The inspector asked inappropriate questions, spent an extended amount of time in my attic, and later claimed he saw rodent droppings and suggested rodents were the cause of the pest issue. He stated that remediation would be “expensive.” Days later, the same inspector called me and used fear-based, high-pressure tactics to push an $11,000 attic insulation removal and replacement service, stating that traps would not help and making alarming statements that were completely inconsistent with prior inspections from the same company. He even referenced a celebrity death to emphasize the danger, which I found extremely unsettling and unprofessional. This experience did not align with the pest control services I hired Ecoshield to provide. What began as routine pest control turned into aggressive upselling through scare tactics. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company to carefully review their contract and be wary of inspections that suddenly lead to extremely costly “remediation” recommendations.

John removed an enormous inactive wasp nest that had fallen from the trees into my yard. I had never seen anything like it and was afraid to go near it! John removed the nest with ease and even educated me on the nest and allowed me to see inside of it after he made sure there were no active hornets. John provided excellent service at my home and I feel comfortable going back outside now. LOL

BEWARE: Scammers! Check Yelp reviews, Trustpilot.com & the Better Business Bureau & you’ll see 1-Star ratings, complaints about shady business practices, ignoring cancellation requests, and other SCAMS! I have no idea how they’ve managed to keep the Google rating so high unless they are padding reviews. I’ve called multiple times to cancel appointments & service and they show up anyway & charge us.

We had our recent pest control service completed and were extremely impressed with the technician Amari and their colleague Dave. The technician was clearly training a new team member, and it was great to see how thorough and patient they were throughout the entire process. They explained everything they were doing, from the importance of clearing all the spiderwebs to the treatment of our entryways, window trims, and door trims. They did a very meticulous job, making sure to hit all the areas and answering our questions along the way. Not only was the perimeter of our home treated expertly, but they also performed a lawn treatment. The attention to detail was top-notch, and the technician's clear expertise was very reassuring. We are so pleased with the results and the professionalism of both technicians. I paid for a one-year pest control service that included touch-ups between scheduled visits if any issues arose. Earlier in the season, I had a hornet nest, and the company responded quickly — someone came within two days and removed it. However, later in the summer when another hornet nest appeared, the experience was completely different. For nearly two months, I repeatedly called to schedule service. Appointments were made and then missed multiple times with no one showing up. Each time, I was asked to send photos of the nest and its location — which I did several times to multiple employees. When a technician finally arrived, they said the nest was too high and they didn’t have a ladder, despite the photos clearly showing the location and height. They called the GM, who then told me the job was “out of scope” with no clear explanation. I was advised to hire a tree service myself— in the middle of winter — to remove the nest. This entire process has been extremely frustrating. The lack of communication, accountability, and organization is disappointing, especially after paying for a full year of service. Many of my neighbors who use the same company have noticed and heard about these ongoing issues as well. Very poor service and customer care overall.

Not only was the service thorough, but I also enjoyed looking at his handsome face and appreciated how respectful he was of my home—clean, careful, and efficient throughout. They did a great job the first time, but I didn't have bug issues at that time. Second time not so great. Had to call them back out to redo areas. I still had ants and other bugs after the call back so I decided to cancel. Despite being reassured by the salesperson that there was not a cancelation fee there is. I signed on their tablet and did not see it when signing but they produced my signature on the agreement with a cancelation fee. They were more than ready for this saying that not only did I sign on their tablet but I responded to a text that confirmed this when I agreed to treatments. Says I had three days to cancel with no charge. Problem is three days isn't long enough to know if their treatments work or not. They didn't in my case. Lesson learned. Save your time, money, and frustrations, go somewhere else for pest control.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The salesman would leave me alone and would not take no for an answer. It is a complete waste of money. There is a colony of spiders that keeps taking over my security cameras. I was hoping they would take care of that. Unfortunately, they did not. Then we find spiders like this one all over the place as well.

While it would be premature to comment on the efficacy of the treatments, I will give an initial 5-star review based on very positive interactions with Manny and Ben. Both were professional and clearly communicated what to expect. Nice job, guys. Follow-up: Unfortunately, the treatments provided did nothing to help with my primary problem - Eastern Cicada Killers. Despite numerous visits from multiple technicians and at least one supervisor, my yard was unusable for most of the summer. When I attempted to cancel my contract, I was told I’d have to pay $250. So, while the company seems to have good people, the treatments cost me hundreds and were of no help.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with all they did was create the worst ant infestation in my house I’ve ever had… I spent nearly 400 dollars for nothing but an ant infestation and I call and complain about getting my money back because they are not fulfilling the contract of eradicating the bug problem and contract law says I’m entitled to compensation and they keep refusing to give me our money back and only will send someone out again for free but every time they come the ants get worse in the house this company is a SCAM!!!

Ecoshield is a scam. Do not trust the salesmen that come to your door. They will lock you into a 2 year agreement. They tell you that you can add treatments anytime but every time you call they just say we will add this to the notes for your next scheduled visit. Also the chemicals they use clearly do not work we have not seen any decrease in insects. They will also tell you mosquito treatment is included and it is not. Do not recommend. Terrible company.

Easily one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a company. We have cockroaches and ecoshield approached our home before we called for anyone. Great. The technician was an hour and a half late, showed up without a uniform, did not complete the full service, and after the visit our cockroach issues got worse. Then when we called the next day, after noticing the upstairs was untouched, to address the improper service. We were told the technician said the service was completed and we just need to wait for the next service May 9th. May 9th came and no one showed up and no call was received to reschedule. Ever since Ecoshield worked on our home the issue has been getting worse. We then called to contact the actual franchise that serviced us. Ecoshield only has corporate answering services so you cannot contact the direct office that serviced you to address any issues. This company has a terrible structure to help deal with customer issues. We will be looking elsewhere for pest services.
