My first time experiencing with J&J Exterminating is while I was renting. I have come to know Chris the friendliest and very precise exterminator I know ! Now that I have purchased a home I only would like J&J Exterminating to continue with keeping my home pest free and I have requested Chris to be my Exterminating needs! Kelvin Huang did an excellent job during my annual termite inspection. He informed me ahead of the inspection and gave me a detailed report when it was completed. He is both courteous and efficient and a credit to the J&J organization. He is definitely a five-star performer.

I don’t understand how this company has so many good reviews. The guy who comes out and sprays is really nice and answers all of our questions but the people in the office are terrible. They don’t talk to their techs. They’re terrible at scheduling and it seems like no one understands how to communicate. We use them because we have to. Going to start documenting reschedules because it’s happened everytime: 5/14/25 appointment 8-11, never came but let us know the day of, with no follow up appointment.

They certainly work on commission because they lied about the insulation in the attic being all gone. My attic has plenty insulation and they will overbid on the price $11k -14K. Call the competition who will give a reasonable estimate.

We have had J&J for years for termite service for our company and 2 homes. In the last several years the guys who come out are great! But we pay our renewals on time and right now it's been over 2 months and there is NO date set for them to come do an inspection that was due in May! I have called several times today I hung up after 8 minutes. Also, I have already received the renewal bill for one of the other locations that's due in October! I shouldn't have to call them about my appointment since I have a contract with them!!

i have used J&J for a number of years. I don't know what has happened. I have a contract with them for a yearly inspection, including refilling of the termite traps. They sent me notice in January that it was time for renewal (almost $400), which I paid the first of February. It is now the end of April and they still haven't been out for my yearly inspection. I called in March and was told that they would be out April 20 - guess what - haven't heard from them. In the meantime, i'm wondering - if I get termites, are they going to be responsible and treat them at no charge?

Horrible! They collect money but never show up to do the job. Since I hired j&j they have came to my house a total of two times

False claims of waiving coverage on our home But not our shop while we continue to pay for the service. Call in to dispute this and get told we still have the coverage by one representative only to walk outside and be told the technicians have spoken with someone who told them there’s only inspections ordered for the shop, the home has no coverage. Called again, information is different now, no coverage. Clearly miscommunication on your technicians, phone representatives and your contracting for sure. Since 2018 I’ve been paying for a service I’m not receiving !!! The price we pay has not changed, we’ve never cancelled or reduced the coverage. Not having an issue with termites at the moment fortunately but being stolen from since 2018 is a problem! Finding out my home isn’t being inspected and isn’t covered while I’m Continually paying for it. Thanks for nothing!!! 🤬 on a side note: all point of contacts were friendly, if not informed.

Normal guy that came stayed in truck. Other guy came in and did his spraying. He pulled the washing machine out too far and the drain hose came out, resulting in washer draining into the floor, buckling my wood floors. Also the guy stole a very expensive pocket knife from my room, that was sitting on top of my dresser. We called J&J about the problem, not only did they deny what happened, but they told us the guy was never even at our house that it was someone else who came to our house. Well I can tell you it was a j&j truck and guys in J&J uniforms. I have no use for liars and thieves and they will never be back on a property I have anything to do with. Hope this helps.

WHY MAKE AN APPOINTMENT IF THEY’RE NOT GOING TO SHOW UP! Sat at home all morning. James scheduled my appointment for Dec 16th, preferably morning. After no one showing up at 2pm I called to see what was going on and Jessica said they weren’t sure if I’d be back from taking care of my medical in Houston. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT FOR TODAY (DEC 16th) SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE CAME OR AT LEAST CALLED!

Do not get services with these people. They took $190 out of my account for no reason. They didn’t notify me, then when I called, they gave a weak explanation that it was a mistake.Its not a mistake to take almost $200 out of somebody’s account. After a year of services with them, no one comes out to inspect. They are lazy and money hungry. The women that answer the phone dont even apologize for their mistakes. Very ignorant and unprofessional group of people.

I will never use them again. They did a termite inspection and said it had termites outside nothing on the inside. Also they only reported 2 spots outside and there was 5. I found termites on the inside upstairs after purchasing the home. After watching a 10 minute YouTube video I was able to find 4 more spots downstairs. The inspection was a joke and they won't do anything to make good on their costly mistake because it's just costly to me. If your reading this take your business elsewhere. It will save you in the long run.
