I have been using McGee pest control for multiple properties for years. They have always been awesome until recently they merged with a large company. The service and communication went to hell. I am now actively looking for a new locally owned and operated pest control company.
Mc Gee pest control is under new management? May i have some in put on how is their service?
McGee sales rep James Bland while a very nice and pleasant guy did not do enough to satisfy my concerns. He did an initial inspection and I also gave him some info about what I’ve heard from scratching in the wall to a couple other things. He made an assumption it was a mouse. I felt like it was something bigger so I got a second opinion from Terminix,turns out after their inspection it is a rat we have because Terminix rep pulled out the oven and found rat droppings and took pics of it. He also went in the attic looked in my bottom cupboards. He did way more to determine the issue versus the McGee rep not doing those things. I will say that no company experience is always positive because ive seen negative reviews about Terminix also so all I can give is my positive or negative feedback. Negative for McGee and positive so far for Terminix.

Wouldn’t recommend. They cancelled “in case of rain” the day before my scheduled appt immediately after it had been confirmed (it also didn’t rain). I didn’t see the cancellation email until it was too late. I was frustrated but rescheduled for the following week and the tech called at the time he was supposed to be here and said there’d been a mixup in scheduling that he thought it was supposed to come the next day. I asked if he could do that, and he said no. I’ve now been last minute cancelled on twice after I had already left work to be present so they could inspect. Huge inconvenience and I still don’t have my problem fixed. Find someone else for your pest control needs.

Never had a problem with the technicians that came out to my house, from the guy that signed me up for the account who is amazing, or my regular guy George, however on today’s visit the technician who is supposed to have 35 years experience was nothing but rude and short. Remember 35 years experience guy you are supposed to be the expert not your clients. This employee was all it took me for to say sayonara. I will be looking for a better pest control business. Thank u for messing up my plants too 🤬

Tech called to reschedule my service due to rain then didn't show up for rescheduled time nor call. I called the office, no one answers the phone and they have no voice-mail option. I finally emailed them and heard from them the next day that the tech turned in the request but the office staff "forgot" to reschedule my new appt. I told them to cancel my service, I hired Terminix instead, they came as scheduled.

Not good, past 2 years, employees not knowledgeable of their work and what was ordered to be done. Will be checking for better termite and pest control business.

I will never use this service again. I had an issue with ants a week after they came to my house then tried to get ahould of someone to come back out for two weeks with no luck. I paid for poor service

The service this year really is below average. They called to set up a termite inspection. Never set up an official day just a “when we‘re in the neighborhood” I finally called them two weeks later to get an official appt. They sent out a guy a few day’s later and he was too big to fit under my house. I assumed a replacement guy would come a day or so later to complete inspection but so far nothing. I told them to go ahead and bill me but I’m not paying until service is completed.
You people that think that they really treat your home for pests...then your in for a big rude awakening
