Although I had some problems with communication with the front office, James, who came to my house was so incredible and my issue was taken care of almost immediately. He was also so mindful of my time. I’m really grateful for this company.

Always friendly. I always greet them and walk through the concerns and they follow up to let me know what they found, if anything. If I need a re-service , they come out promptly to take care of it.

I called them for an estimate to remove junk from a property I bought. Could not be happier! They came, gave me a reasonable estimate, cleaned every bit of junk out the next day. They could not have been more professional and easy to work in. Would highly recommend to anyone. Very satisfied.

Terrible communication and customer service. A technician shows up today and treats the exterior of our home without our authorization or prior scheduling. Then they claim they texted my husband yesterday to confirm, but then they indicate they called my number today. Why would you text one number and then call a different one? WE HAVE TOLD THEM OVER AND OVER WHO TO CONTACT. Shouldn’t be that difficult. What a circus. 🤡

We’re sorry this situation felt a little… buggy 🐜 — definitely not the kind of buzz we’re aiming for.

That said, we do want to clear a few things up before this review starts to grow legs of its own. Our team did make an effort to reach out prior to arrival, which we have documented. We always use the contact information provided on the account and aim to follow those preferences as closely as possible.

We completely understand how frustrating any miscommunication can be, and that’s never the experience we want for our customers. We’re always happy to take a closer look and talk things through to make sure everything is clear moving forward.

If you’d like to connect, our office is here and ready to help.

Had a roach infestation at my apt through other residents. I told them the source was whatever was behind the refrigerator. They came in only put two traps in the kitchen. Then there was a dead roach at the fridge from the overnight: they proceeded to place the trap down right by the roach and just left it there. I’m not saying they had to sweep my whole kitchen but if you’re hired as a service to get rid of the pest and there’s a pest right there, that just shows the lack of effort and customer care on their part. Especially when I had a broom and dustpan in the same room. Paid hundreds for a 15 minute job and they couldn’t even sweep the pest they were hired for.

Provider response

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with your experience. To clarify, our services for this property are contracted directly through the building owner/management, who determines the scope of treatment and service schedule for all units. Residents are not billed individually for these visits, and pricing is not based on the length of time spent in a unit, but rather on the overall service agreement for the property.

Our technicians follow the treatment protocol authorized for the building, which typically includes targeted placement of professional-grade products designed to eliminate infestations at their source. These materials work over time and often attract pests out of hiding, which can result in visible activity shortly after treatment — a normal and expected part of the process.

That said, we always want residents to feel confident in the service provided. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will review the visit internally to ensure our standards were met. If you continue to experience concerns, we recommend notifying your property manager so they can request any follow-up service covered under their agreement.

Rude, unprofessional, and they don't fully do their job when they visit my building so I don'tunderstand why our landlord hires them. I'm guessing the price is cheap. They lay sticky traps without dating them when I'm around to watch and when I'm not around they don't even check the traps they left before. Why they do it when I'm watching vs when it's one of the guys, I don't know. I had to date the last ones myself just so I would at least know. This time around, one of my roommates simply asked one of the workers to please not shout after said worker came in yelling he was there because we had two people who work nights still sleeping. I was one of those sleeping people. The worker got snippy with my roommate and said "I'm not here to argue, I'm just here to spray." My roommate wasn't trying to start an argument, he was just making a simple request of the stranger that we're forced to have enter our home with less than 24 hours notice. He barely sprayed and left within a minute, not checking or looking at anything. Like I said earlier, rude and unprofessional. Update: In response to Snowball's reply, that's the problem right there. The associate may be checking off the list and saying they did they were supposed too, but they were witnesses not doing the full check list. Also, I never mentioned the sticky traps were expired because I know they don't, I specifically said they were not checked or dated when placed, which you are supposed to do, correct? Your generic response only proves you care more about looking good than being good. You can take responsibility over the phone, but you can't here? Because when I called to report this I was told my concerns were legit and that it would be handled so the next inspection is done correctly.

Provider response

Hi Raven,

We take all feedback seriously, which is why we reviewed your claims with our service records, the assigned technician, and the property’s maintenance staff.

To clarify a few points for anyone reading:

• Glue traps do not expire and do not require dating. However, every service visit is logged internally, including placement, inspection, and follow-up. Those records were reviewed after your complaint.

• Our technician documented checking existing traps during prior visits, which conflicts with your statement that none were checked.

• Regarding the most recent visit: maintenance confirmed a different version of events than what is described here, including the length of time on-site and the scope of service performed.

• Entry access and notice requirements are controlled by property management, not our company or technicians.

We strive to be respectful and professional in every unit we service, even when access is limited or situations are tense. If you have concerns, we encourage residents to report them through property management so they can be addressed directly and accurately.

We stand by our technician’s conduct and our service records in this case.

Sincerely,

Management

I used Snowball for a cleanout of my garage as I was purging all that I don't need. My whole experience was amazing from the ladies in the office all the way down to Jason who came to the house to remove everything. I could not be happier with my experience. I will recommend any one looking for trash removal to call Snowball.

Previous- Responsive and professional. Will make sure you are satisfied. 2025 Edit...things are no longer the same. They no longer stand behind their work. We were treated for spiders 2 months ago and apparently they come back that quick in 2025. Have used other companies that come once a year with zero issue. Snowball stated I would have to pay again. Someome didn't do their job or their products have changed. Will no longer be supporting this local business. It is too bad they have changed this much.

They spray the appartments in Cincinnati on Harrison Ave but there spray is watered down stuff that has zero affect. I had to go to walmart and buy my own stuff wich only cost 30 bucks and it worked. But snowball dose not care and their worker even lied and said nobody was home when i had the door open and was sitting there waiting all day. Then i called they made him come back out and all he did was a very tiny squirt beside the stove and one under the sink in kitchen and bathroom. And left the stuff never worked and its a small infestation getting bigger and worse with each visit they made. I put combat gel from walmart and fixed it now but they are a fake company scamming appartments and home owners out of hard earned money. And paying people to give good reviews.

The work was fine. The problem was they charged me the full amount for a one time treatment, and they only came one time. The day after that they sent the invoice, charged me the full amount and then charged me $37.50 for the next 9 months! I have sent them emails and still have not heard from them. They more than triple overcharged me!

An employee in a company vehicle, passed someone in a no passing zone, around a terrible curve ... Almost hitting my vehicle head on. Their carless driving caused me to run off the road with my 3 year old daughter in the car. This should not only be reckless driving, and wanton endangerment ..... But they should lose their job.. IF THEY READ THIS : thanks for not checking on my daughter and I.. seriously, I would have three hots and cot right now. sorry not sorry .

The person that answers the phone clearly don't know how to handle customers was a previous client. I love them! Just called for a price and the lady didn't even know how to talk. She answered the phone. Hello... It should have been more like. Hi, this is snowball pest control. How can I help you... She needs to work on that

Were hired to clean out my house for a bedbug infestation. They cleaned out all of my tools in my basement including all of my hand tools, power tools even my table saw. These tools were valued at over $5,000. They were told NOT to discard a brand new recumbent exercise bike that was still in it's box. The bike cost over $400. It mysteriously disappeared. They were instructed to NOT discard a brand new Canon printer valued at over $300. It mysteriously disappeared They even took the peg board hooks that my hand tools were hung on. They discarded a perfectly good Weber grill and my gas grill that was on my front porch. I can think of no one, with any common sense, who would discard valuable tools that were in the basement of a house that had a bedbug infestation on the first floor of a home. They even discarded my stationary tubs in the basement. I am obviously not happy.

Provider response

Hello Sir,
We were hired by the owner of the home to do a junk removal job and bed bug treatment. When we entered the home we found multiple other pest infestations and we alerted the owners. We asked the owners if they wanted to remove and keep anything and we were instructed to discard everything. We were hired to remove trash from an infested home and that is what was done.

Exterminator placed a sticky bug trap within reach of my cat without so much as even leaving a note indicating its location, and i had no idea where it was. After my cat got two legs stuck in the trap (thankfully I was able to remove him from it without injury), I promptly emailed their customer service and have yet to get a response. Beyond the sticky trap incident, pest control techs are not thorough and have horrible customer service skills. I would not recommend them to anyone. Update: I never received contact from the company. Poor service all around.

Monday June 13th I called to get my house sprayed for ants, the office reception told me that they could come Thursday June 16th. No one from that company showed up OR even called to say they couldn’t make it today. No second chances, other companies I can take my business to. I have looked at my cameras and did not see anyone stop at my house. Also, your tech must be lying to you ,because I did not receive a phone call. I understand the heat, but please call me to reschedule.

Provider response

Kaitlyn I'm so sorry to hear this. Our technician did try to reach you but said he could not get an answer. The heat index was 110 yesterday and we did tell our guys not to wait around in the heat if they were unable to confirm. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My apartment complex has a deal with this shady business to have them come once every three months. Every time they come, they complain to the apartment manager about the "cleanliness" of our apartment, and then we get charged a $50 fee. I've asked our neighbors and they said they have also received complaints and fees over little things. For instance, in one case, I had swept my bathroom and a cat used the litter box after I did so, and when they covered their feces they kicked a little bit of litter particles out, which I'm sorry, A) am I supposed to be posted at their litter box 24/7 to sweep, and B) is that really worth $50?! I promise you, they have to get some sort of kickback and will purposefully look for things to ding us on in the literal five minutes they are here. ***Edit*** I still would never recommend this company if I was swimming in bed bugs and roaches. I may consult a lawyer, I honestly suspect they get money on the side.
