Patton Termite & Pest Control is a locally owned, family operated pest control company located in Wichita, Kansas. We have served Wichita and surrounding areas since 1999. From a small beginning in Mike Patton’s garage, Patton has grown to being recognized as one of the top 100 pest management companies. Connor arrived promptly and worked quickly and efficiently. He explained thoroughly what insecticides he was using and what to look for as Spring weather brings ants, etc. Very courteous and professional.

Larry came out to treat my property today for a massive infestation of aggressive Polistes red paper wasps and carpenter ants. Very nice gentleman. Thank you for coming out so quickly, I am deathly allergic to wasps and this job was beyond my capabilities. Larry said to wait a week and if need be, he will come back and retreat.

Today is my first spray!! So I really don’t have much to say right now but I’ll keep you posted. Jim was nice!!! I’ll see him again in two weeks
Last summer my disabled elderly mothers home had an infestation of carpet beetles, to which she had 9 live beetles she saved in a ziplock bag to show the manager who came out to assess her home. He denied she had a problem and didn’t even know what kind of bugs they were, so they didn’t treat it. We called them back out to treat the house because we were finding more to which she saved to show them. They said they would send someone out for another assessment, but if they find nothing to support our claim, they will charge her $100. I said no problem, she saved them to show him. Even WITH the evidence, they denied us service and charged her $100. Needless to say, my mother ended up having to replace her carpets due to this problem they denied her help with and instead took advantage of her. How utterly low and disgraceful to take advantage of an elderly disabled widow woman like that. They did me right in the past at my own home; but there’s definitely been a change with them and not for the good!

Initially I was really happy about the service I was provided by Brett, but after he left the company for another opportunity, the service has gone down hill. There have been 3 different technicians to service my house and each of them have not done great work. I have started asking for sticky traps, so I can replace ones that the technicians do not change out. My property was just serviced and the technician sprayed outside, I am assuming for ants and what not, but within and hour or so it started raining, so I am pretty sure that was a waste of a treatment. I doubt the snap traps were checked as well, because the technician walked in sprayed the room and never stopped. I will be looking for a new bug guy this summer.

Had them come out because ants were coming up from drains. They came out to spray but didnt bate the kitchen or bathrooms so ants got worse. The initial fee was $189 when I called 3 weeks later because ants were worse they wanted another $69. Every other company I have used comes out for free if the itial service doesnt work. Heartland and brown reclusanators have better customer service and takes care of their clients.

called patton and got a estimate of 300.00 for pest control for squirrels in my attic. they treated my house for mice and rats and not what I called them for!! so they feed the raccoons and possums for two months outside with poison for mice. I even took pictures of the gigantic mice eating the poison. finally after two 1/2 months they said yes you have squirrel problems in the attic. and wanted another 300.00 to 400.00 to treat attic for squirrels which is what I told them to begin with. I told them where to stick it. this is a rip off company who does not know their business. suggest finding another more reliable company unless you want to throw away some money.

Jim,<br>We understand your frustration with the situation as both mice and squirrels can be challenging pests. Our original phone call with you stated that there was a noise coming from the attic and walls that could potentially be mice or squirrels. Our protocol is to come out and assess the situation and treat as the technician sees fit. We sent our service manager, Ryan, to assess your problem and come up with a treatment plan. At this time, we found an excess of Rodenticide in the attic that was put there by another company. We recommended that it should be removed (at an additional charge for labor if we are the ones to remove it). After investigating possible rodents, using infrared cameras and trail cameras to assess, we never found any activity inside. Our recommendations for trimming your tree limbs and not feeding squirrels on the deck should help your squirrel issue tremendously as these attract squirrels and make it easy for them to access your home. We used exhaustive efforts to solve your problem; our standard three services for situations like this as well as two services that were at no charge to you. We were very diligent with your problem and stuck with a frequency that is recommended for your type of pest issue. Our managers explained that trapping for squirrels, in your situation, would not be cost effective to solve your issue in the long term. We are sorry that the problem did not get resolved to your liking and that your contact with our managers did not satisfy your complaints.<br><br>Thanks,<br>Patton Termite & Pest Control
Use caution if you choose to use Patton. They may be good at killing bugs, but drive very poorly. Patton declined to repair my front quarter panel after their technician collided with my car backing out of the neighbor's driveway. Not happy with Patton's dishonest business practices!!! *************************************************************************** Mr. Patton, If you are confident your technician was not present at the same time as the parked vehicle you can make arrangements to view the report created from the footage of the camera located at the community pool, this camera is pointed toward the entranced of my Cul-de-sac. This report indicates the times when the 2 vehicles in question arrived and departed. I would be happy to provide you with the contact info for the HOA safety community. The Patton Technicians who conducted the internal investigation seemed like nice guys, however I suspect they have limited experience/training in accident investigation techniques, insurance adjustment, or auto body repair. I am disappointed your technicians left before the police arrived. I filed a police report, Since there were no injuries I was advised by the Wichita Police Department to contact the Insurance company to reach resolution. The West Bend Insurance company did not view the vehicle(They are in Wisconsin) They relied on information provided by 2 Pest Control Technicians employed by Patton to determine negligence. I suggest we meet at a body shop and consult with a professional to properly investigate the damage. You are welcome to include a representative from your insurance company. It is my opinion the bumper of the Patton truck fits perfectly into the damaged quarter panel of the vehicle that was parked on the street. I respectfully suggest you provide training to your employees to park on the side of the street, and avoid backing out of driveways if possible(I could not help but notice the topper on your service truck is impossible to see through)

Mr. Habbart,<br><br>We have spent a great deal of time investigating your claim that one of our vehicles struck your son's car. We conducted an internal investigation and found that our technician did not, in fact, collide with your vehicle. Your vehicle was not present when he left your neighbor's house. This statement is substantiated by GPS. The GPS tracking units on your car as well as yours show that neither vehicle was in the same physical location at the same time. There is no evidence on our vehicle that would indicate a collision either.<br><br>Despite meeting with you and reviewing the evidence, you have persisted with your claim. We recommended that you report the damage to your vehicle to the police. The WPD did not find any evidence to support your claim. They recommended that you file a claim with our insurance company, West Bend Mutual Insurance Company. The investigator from West Bend found your claim to be false and denied your claim. With these exhaustive efforts, we do not believe that your review of our business is substantiated.<br><br>Over the past few years, Patton Termite & Pest Control has paid on a number of damage claims where we have been responsible for damaging another person's property. However, we do not believe in paying for damages we did not cause. That would be dishonest. We value honesty and integrity and we are sorry you have not gotten the closure you are looking for.<br><br>-Mike Patton
Service didn't get rid of fleas. We bombed our house twice before they came out. Cleaned and cleaned and cleaned then patton came out and fumigated or something. We still have been cleaning and cleaning and cleaning like crazy. Waste of money for us. Fleas are still everywhere.
