I like the man and his company. He knows what he is doing. He was recommended by a relative. I will be having him exclude rodents. Inspection was today.

Orange Mouse is outstanding! One of Mitch’s crews (two techs) came by and addressed every issue from the earlier inspection plus a couple of minor ones that were noticed only today. There was no extra charge. Orange Mouse provided expert winter time care. In the spring they do a check up which is all covered by the two year warranty.

Mitch from Orange Mouse did a thorough inspection of our home today. He provided video and photos of problems, clear answers on how to fix them and a reasonable quote.

I’ve been battling mice in the basement off and on since I moved in 7 years ago. I am so glad I call Orange Mouse! They had actual solutions for prevention, not just extermination. The process was very involved but necessary. Mitch did a thorough inspection, was clear about the issues and what my options were. Mitch came out to inspect our home for bats. Did a great job explaining our issues in our roof to cause bats to get inside, but did not try to sell us or fear monger us into getting a fix right now. Really appreciated his time and would hire them again!

A year or so ago I began to hear scratching noises in our attic, went up and then saw droppings. After researching bat guano and crushing a small area of dropping, I suspected bats. I called Orange Mouse to inspect our attic. The owner came out and determined that we did have bats. The owner gave us pricing for sealing the roofline, clean-up & sanitization, 1-way bat valving and installing Ridge Guard over the entire roof ridge. I told him that we planned to have our roof replaced in two weeks. And also, as part of this I planned to have a new ridge vent installed which would create a 4” temporary opening in the entire roof ridge. I later called Orange Mouse and spoke to a lady there. I asked if they could just do the clean up and sanitization, since I was having the roof replaced as well as a new ridge vent. I told her that I would not need or expect a guarantee of no bats returning. She asked the owner, who said they would not. I told her that it did not make sense to me to pay $1,300 seal the roofline when I planned to have the roof replace in two weeks. They still would not do an attic clean-up/sanitization without sealing the roofline. I called another wildlife removal company and that owner came out and inspected our roof. I told him as well that we planned to have our roof replaced in less than two weeks. He said that he would not recommend exclusion, sealing and installing Ridge Guard until after the roof was replaced, having a second inspection, and then only if any of those components were needed. We hired that company to do the clean-up and sanitization. 10/26/25- This is a response to the reply by the owner of Orange Mouse to my Google review. The whole point of my review was that the owner would not perform a clean-up & sanitization of our attic ($450), unless we agreed to have our roof sealed for an additional $1,300. When I spoke with the office staff lady named Hollie, I asked if they would do the clean-up & sanitization only, then after our roof was replaced in two weeks, come back to check to see if anything else needed to be done. She put me on hold for 3-4 minutes while she contacted the owner. She told me that the owner would only do a clean-up & sanitization if we also agreed to have them seal the roofline. As I mentioned in my review, when I told her that that did not make sense to me since the roofers would likely remove any sealing of the roofline as well as replacing the entire length of ridge vent, when they replaced our roof in two weeks. She even got back with the owner again and then told me again, that the owner would not do only a clean-up & sanitization! This just really took me back, because while the owner was here after the inspection, there was no mention of having to combine each service. After I posted my review, the owner emailed me offering to refund my $95 inspection fee if I removed my review. I am not going to be bought. The owner then posted a response to my review, that they were “more than willing to perform a spot clean as a stand-alone service…” This is simply not true! I take very good notes. I got the response from the office staff lady exactly correct. There was no misunderstanding or confusion.

It’s all well and good that bats are a protected species, until they move in to your attic! I made one telephone call to Orange Mouse and we were immediately on the road to recovery. Mitch was out in a day or two made the inspection, explained the process, and the services that they would perform, and gave me a competitive bid. Four days later, the roof/house was sealed and Bat valves installed. I’ve found Orange Mouse, extremely professional, competent and knowledgeable.
