I called the office and was lucky enough to speak with a gentleman that was so knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time to help me even thou they do not service my area. I would highly recommend this company!

The guy I spoke with seemed very knowledgeable and was very nice. He spoke with me for a while, even though he didn't serve my area and gave me his opinion and gave me suggestions. A lot of businesses won't even waste their time talking to you if they don't serve your area, so it was a pleasant surprise talking to him this evening. It's too bad they don't help here though, it's hard to find anyone who treats for termites near me. :(

An honest businessman in an extremely corrupt local industry. Go to Hawkeye if you've got issues, and Michael will handle them discretely. I've had experiences with other pest control companies who simply wanted to use my lack of experience to separate me from my last dime as they bloviated about how "technical" their job was. Don't listen to those buffoons and call Michael for straight solutions at fair prices. You might even learn something!

* Addended with response to companies reply* Started out just fine. Mike and crew came out to treat our home. He promised his products were effective and he had NEVER had to retreat, but would come back the second time per policy. First treatment did not work, second treatment did not work. I was still being bitten, and sent him pictures of my bites and the live bugs we were finding. He came out a third time with supposedly a different combination of product. Several weeks later I was still being bitten. 4th time, different mixture. This all spanned April thru July 2023! September came, still had bugs, offered for him to come out again and look at things and discuss treatment. HE OFFERED to refund our $$ since he had been unsuccessful, yes, HE OFFERED, I did not ask. 5 weeks went by, didn't receive refund. Said he'd look into it. A week later he told me that I was going to have to find another exterminator and have them inspect and treat my home in order to receive my refund, that there was no way his treatments hadn't worked, that I WAS SCAMMING him!! Absolutely NOT the case! I am still being bitten to this day and after all his treatments and us waiting for it to work it has not improved. Very angry and this just shows that if things don't go his way, he does not stand by his word. He promised he'd rid us of the pests, he offered the refund, and he failed to stand by his word. Most of their reviews are decent, but that is why I felt I needed to leave my review. He was NOT decent with me and I will never recommend them to anyone. They don't deserve the 1 star rating but I had to rate to be able to submit this. Addendum: You can pump your chest out about your ratings and how great they were because your 100% no longer holds true with your failure at our place. You said you would treat until they were gone, so don't pride yourself in saying that you treated us for "free". Those treatments were included in your satisfaction guarantee - you use phrases like "continued treating for free", "treated your home multiple times" - all included. There never was a "removal" because the bugs were never killed. I repeatedly sent you pictures of the live bugs when I found them and the bites on my body as proof , but YOU "gave me the benefit of the doubt" - YOU offered the refund!! And after 5 weeks decided to accuse me of scamming you and then refused to refund us with an ultimatum to get another company to come fix your mistake - YOU could not solve the problem. Told us you had talked to several other exterminators and none of them could believe that we still had them. Couldn't tell us who you spoke to though. And we have had other companies out here to inspect and they have found evidence of live bugs and told us that most of the insecticides you used weren't effective in killing them, the growth/hormone inhibitor you used doesn't even work on bed bugs! You may want your customers to be satisfied, but these are far from it! After offering a refund on your own accord, because you had failed at your guarantee and then accusing the customer of scamming... real respectable, you should be real proud of yourself. This may well be your only fail - a fail all the way around from bug extermination to customer service. No company, no matter how frustrated should accuse their customer of scamming when proof has been sent that the problem still exists. Needless to say, you can no longer pride yourself with a 100% satisfaction rating.

Highly recommend these guys! They gave me advice for the rodent issue I was having in my garage instead of just coming out and charging me! They also came out and sprayed my home, which only took 5 minutes. 5 stars for Hawkeye Exterminating.

I had a question and after trying to find answers online I decided to call Hawkeyes. He was able to answer my question and took the time to reassure me that we were safe from an infestation and I didn’t need to worry.

We had an issue in our home needing attention. Mike was a bit late on day of appointment, but courteously called to let us know he was running behind schedule. No problems for us there. Mike was very professional on site and seemed very knowledgeable. Assessed our situation and provided solutions that we could do ourselves or that he could help us with. He provided great onsite education and was able to answer all our questions. Just implemented his suggestions so we will hopefully see positive results soon. He even made us aware of another additional issue that he noticed while on site that we didn’t know about. I would definitely recommend Hawkeye Exterminating!

Above and beyond, our Hawkeye staff member - while inspecting around the furnace - noticed a gas odor. We were able to call our local utility company and they found a loose fitting which needed replaced. Thank you for going above and beyond!

We had a problem with Yellow Jackets that had gotten inside of the house. Mike was able to get here quicker than anyone else. He assessed the problem and was able to take care of the little buggers so they were no longer a problem. We are a month past when he was here and still have seen no yellow jackets re-appear. I am confident he got our issue taken care of. He was on time and great to work with. We would call him first if we have a problem in the future!

I had Mike do two home inspections. He helped us avoid purchasing a house that wasn't right for us. Luckily the second house he inspected was perfect for us. So caring and professional. I would highly recommend.

Mike safely took down a large hornet's nest on the roof under hang of my home. He promptly responded to my concern. I was amazed at his expertise and professionalism. We like to have preventative pest control done every summer, and our past company was no longer offering these services. We also noticed a couple mice in our basement this week. Mike came out and did a thorough inspection and clearly explained everything he saw, and how we could resolve the issue quickly and safely. He even said we could call anytime and he could walk us through steps for taking care of it if we liked. They could have done it for us, but we were ok doing it ourselves as a cheaper option. Mike was very nice, thorough, and explained everything clearly. Great service at a very competitive price. We will definitely be using Hawkeye Exterminating for all our needs from here on out.

I had a couple of little rascals(squirrels) that liked being in my attic! Mike was very prompt and attentive to the situation.
