The Worst: Started using them a year ago. Nothing they said was accomplished, rodent problem still active, Beatle and bugs still swarm the inside and outside of the house that they guaranteed would be gone the last two times out they didn't even fill the bate traps. After a year they force us to provide a 5th treatment, even though it was a quarterly contract to fulfill it. And again, did not fill the live bait traps.

Believe this is my third year with Mint. Reliable, prompt, polite, overall the great service. My technician today, Dasani, was polite and on time. Would highly recommend the service provider. Update: Still a very happy customer. Technician (Eric) was prompt, courteous, and the service works. We have a forested preserves behind us. Spiders had once been an issue; no longer. Excellent service!

The service absolutely did not work for me. A salesperson came to my door, explained what they do, and told me the price. I specifically mentioned that my main concern was mosquitoes, and he told me the treatment would work for everything except bees. Based on that, I agreed and signed up. However, after speaking with one of the managers later, I was told that if I want mosquito control, I need to sign up for a separate program. I’m very unhappy with their service, and it’s not working for me.

Avoid them and their Segway salesman. Introductory price and cancel after the second quarterly treatment has become two weeks after the first treatment I needed to get on their schedule and get my second treatment….I said no way and it was a month later. I want to cancel and warn other but they threatened me with this So in order to cancel the 12 month agreement early, we do ask that you pay back the discount that we gave you on that first service as the cancellation fee. This would be $340.

Well you guys suck! You came to my house and guaranteed your work. Well I tried canceling my service but now the want to charge me 300.00 to do that even though I wasnt satisfied with the service I received. I was under the impression that I would get a refund if I wasnt satisfied. Well now they want to charge me. I will not send any business there way ever again. I will never use them ever again. I was under the impression that they were spraying forall bugs not just bees. It still didnt work. We even had to call them back because still had wasp nests on the house that had active bees. Also even after they sprayed we found tick on the dogs.

Lied about monthly price. Have sprayed one time and did not help with bugs. Tried to cancel and now I have to pay a cancelation fee even know I sent a video of the rep telling me there is no cancelation fee. Would not recommend.

The door to door aspect is not welcome in many communities. Neighbors have asked the individuals to leave our community (which has clearly posted no-solicitation signs. The guys are then rude and argue with neighbors. If your service is so great, why do you need pushy door to door sales. Your service and reputation should stand on their own.

I had an odd experience with this company today. Initially, the sales rep was very polite and informative. He was going door-to-door in our neighborhood trying to get new customers to sign up for Mint services. Coincidentally, my husband and I had just talked about getting a pest control service the night before because we have a horrible ant problem right now. The sales rep (I think his name was Steven) rolled through our neighborhood on a hoverboard and stopped at our house because we were outside working on a project in our driveway. After his pitch, I asked “Steven” about a business card because I needed more time to discuss it with my husband. (Unfortunately, when you solicit door-to-door you don’t always reach your peak audience at the best time that’s most convenient for the customer.) In our case, we were building something that needed to be done before the end of the weekend and our priority wasn’t to talk to a Mint rep and sign up for a pest control service right then in there while we were busy working on something under a time constraint. Anyways, it was like “Steven” was operating on a switch. As soon as I told him I’d like to get a personal opinion from my neighbors about Mint services before making a final decision (since he stated several of my neighbors had already signed up) his facial expression completely changed. He immediately stop smiling, turned his back to me, and walked away while I was still inquiring about a business card for the second time. He wouldn’t even look at me and replied, “No, I’m not a card guy” while still walking off. To not allow me a reasonable amount of time to discuss any service with my spouse, (especially in this economy), is just not realistic for any company, product, or service provider. Also, he said it was $299 for the initial service, but then suddenly decided it’ll only be $49 at the end of his pitch seems suspicious and calculated. Definitely a red flag! “Steven” was extremely rude at the end of our interaction and all it takes is one email from me to my HOA to warn the same people he wants business from to NOT go with the company he represents… and not just a warning for my neighborhood, but all the other surrounding neighborhoods in the area as well. I’m sure not all Mint sales reps, technicians, or other employees are rude like he was, but unfortunately first impressions are all I have to go by regarding this company. I even watched the CCTV surveillance footage on my house afterwards to see if maybe I was overreacting… I definitely was not and “Steven” needs to work on his attitude and response to anything other than a, “Yes, I want to sign up for Mint pest control services right now!” I definitely still need a pest control service, but I will NOT be going with Mint and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone based on my experience with “Steven” today. The fact that I’m even leaving a review, (especially this long of a review), should be a clue for other potential customers before they make a final decision on whether or not they want to go with this company for pest control services.

I signed up for their services which included 4 treatments over the course of one year. First treatment was very thorough. Downhill from there. By the 4th treatment I made the mistake of inquiring if that treatment would complete the contract before they started the treatment. Afterwards, received email saying work was completed taking 25 minutes. I actually timed the work, only spent 12 minutes. Also noticed he did not clean soffit of cobwebs. Within 2 days, spotted spiders and silverfish in our house which continued to happen for several days. I purchased a home pest control product and did my own treatment which resolved the problem. Contacted Mint to cancel and explained why. They never offered to rectify or send someone out to do a proper treatment. Hard to keep customers when they do not value them.

I recently subscribed to this pest control service based on the initial conversation with the sales representative. The salesperson assured me that the company offered top-quality pest control and a flexible subscription with no cancellation fees. My experience, however, was far from satisfactory. After the initial treatment, I did not see a noticeable improvement in the pest problem. Despite a second treatment, the situation remained largely unchanged. For the price I was paying, the service fell short of expectations. When I attempted to cancel my subscription due to the ineffectiveness of the treatments, I was shocked to be told that I would be charged a cancellation fee. This was directly contrary to what I had been promised by the salesperson at the outset. Unfortunately, without a written document stating no cancellation fees, I was left to cover this unexpected cost. I find it disappointing that the company did not honor the verbal commitment made by their representative. The misleading sales tactics and the subpar quality of service have left a sour taste in my mouth. As a customer, I felt misguided and undervalued. To potential customers, I would recommend carefully reviewing all terms and conditions in writing before engaging with this company's services. Despite their assurances, my experience suggests that they may not deliver as promised.

Mirroring experience of others with the high pressure door-to-door solicitation. Solicitor spoke like he was from here and kept saying "I will" and "My service" when he later acknowledged when I asked that he wasn't from this city and goes city to city selling service. I really don't care if their price or product is good. If a company can't respect people with their sales tactics, then I'm out. Too many red flags to trust them.

The sales representative was excessively aggressive and insistent, claiming that the product was completely natural. However, there were no brochures available, and the website failed to provide any substantial evidence to support these assertions. Additionally, the initial price of $500 drastically dropped to $69 over time, only to be followed by a mandatory yearly commitment. Moreover, the salesperson resorted to speaking negatively about other companies. Would absolutely not recommend anyone. Please do not use the service.
