Contracted them a year ago to get rid of mice. Still have mice. Told us there was no way the mice were coming up via the vents. They absolutely are. Mice can fit through 6mm of space. Seems like something a pest control company should know. Save yourself some time, money, and frustration and look elsewhere for pest control. We had more luck with the traps we bought and set than the ones they used for months and months with almost no results.

My father was charged $1100.00 for services not being met. After 2 treatments the issue still well an issue. They also missed the last appointment day stating that they canceled without notification. They changed the date to another day (yesterday) and guess what they didnt show. My father then recieved a text stating they are done with services?!?! Time to lawyer up. This will be made right!

Let's start a class action lawsuit!!! Hawx is the worst pest control company I've used and heard of. They make empty promises, bill you monthly before an services are even done for when they supposed to come out. They charge 12 months for a mosquito treatment. Wow really didn't know they were around in the winter months. They only come out quarterly to treat the general pest control but yet still charge you monthly outrageous charges. Force you to use auto pay in advance of services rendered. They hire college students from across the nation to saturate areas during the summer months getting people to sign up for these services. The drop them off and pick them up after 12 to 16 hr days with no food or drinks a way to get to a bathroom or anywhere. They make everything sound like a such a good deal and these sales people tell you what you want to hear to get you use their service, iny case I was told I would be getting more services for free than I actually got. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I wouldn't recommend them for any thing. I stopped my payments do to thier lack of service and the are worst than any collections I ever heard of. PROVIDE YOUR SERVICEA PROMISED AND THEN YOU CAN REQUEST YOUR MONEY FOR YOUR SERVICES. To the person who is going to respond to my message. Don't waste your time just cancel the BS contract I think that a class action law suit needs to be started!!

HUGE SCAM! You pay monthly and they never come out to do their job. The one time they did come out I saw 0 difference in the spiders around my house. Now that it’s getting colder I won’t even need the services yet I’m locked in a contract that I was honestly suckered into. Not to mention since you pay monthly they say they only come out every couple months, so why do I pay for a monthly service when I get absolutely no service! Company is trash. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I could pay a homeless man to do a better job than this place. I honestly think the next step will be to contact the better business bureau because what this place gets away with is unreal. Negative stars if you ask me. 🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️🗑️

If you know what’s good for you! Runnnnn away from these people!! Their agent lied to us- told us to do a one time trial instead it was a full on year contract! That we didn’t agree! Started charging my husbands card and the worst part-THEIR STUFF DOES NOT WORK! Now they blast my phone with calls. I’ve send emails to all the HOA to be aware of them. Told our HOA neighbors in monthly meetings to get their agents as far away from their homes as possible as soon as they knock ! Best part is we own 4 houses in 4 neighborhoods and have warmed our neighborhoods !

we had one treatment done by this company and I believe possibly they come out for a maintenance spray because they first treatment was not very effective. I tried canceling my service multiple times, and assumed it was cancelled when they stopped trying to come out for a treatment. a couple months later i started getting notices that i owed them a pretty large amount, I tried contacting them online and never had any luck. Today the increased my bill by $500.00 I definitely had much better luck with other companies, we were mostly looking for mosquito spray this summer but thought for the same price getting indoor treatment would be nice. Definitely wont make that mistake again.

Extremely disappointed in Hawx service. Zero impact on pests inside and outside of my house after 3 straight months of treatments in a row, which required me to call them because they don't treat each month. Now they are charging me $199 to cancel my contract, which at this point I'd rather pay then continue with the frustration. The 3rd and final tech that came out said he didn't want to come in the house because the bugs could become immune to the treatments. Then he sprayed outside and placed a rodent trap (I don't have a rodent problem). Again, zero impact. My experience with other pest control companies has been significantly better so I'll be going back to Lady Bug. NOTE: The Hawx customer portal provides no access to communicate with management or anyone directly. When you call the local number they place you on hold - then randomly hang up after 10 minutes holding. Finally got through to an account manager who spent 20 minutes trying to convince me to give them another (4th) chance. Unfortunate customer service.

I deleted my old review since I had a few treatments and the first time was good. After that its been a nightmare. If you work second shift DO NOT USE HAWXS. When they give you a contract to sign they do not tell you they give theirselves a 4 hour window to show up and the earliest window is from 8 to noon. That means most appointments they dont show up until after I leave for work, so I have to reschedual more appointments than they show up for. Their service guarantees 1 visit each month and if you see pests they come back for a warrenty visit. Usually their treatments last for about 8 to 10 days and I see ants again. Right now I have ants on the entire east side of my house and I had to reschedual a couple of times because they want to show after I leave for work. Tomorrow before I go to work Im going to the store and buying about $50 of ants treatment/spray/baits, since I can not live with bugs any more. I have an appointment for Hawxs to treat the east side of my house on Friday morning. I'll wait as long as I can, but if they dont show I will treat the inside of my house myself. One way or the other, my house will be treated for ants by the weekend, and my advice is simple. If you have to work second shift do not use hawxs, if you have to leave between 8 and noon, noon to 4 or 4 to 8 do not use hawxs, if you dont like ants coming back every 2 weeks do not use hawxs. I work second shift 11am to 930pm that stops most of their avalible time. The job before my current job was first shift 7am to 530pm that also stopped most of their avalible time. Again, when you sign the contract for a year this information was not mentioned. To use this company you either need a stay at home spouse, a at home job or being unemployed. Also I was told any further issues to call and ask for a supervisor and they would make a note in the correct area on my account and try to help me, but I spent the entire a few hours at work and a while at home trying to get hold of the supervisors and they are not avalible. My hopes are one of their teams sees this and actually send someone out before I leave for work on the appointment on Friday (before 10 am) because I can not stand living with ants crawling all over everything.

I would not use this service and I normally do not create reviews but this company does not have any type of customer service resolution process which will continue to damage their customer relationship. Here's the situation, on the day that they solicited at my door and I signed the "contract" they did not complete a treatment on my property because they said that it was too "wet", which was fine. They also never returned to service the property at any point for the next 3 months (the entire summer season when I actually needed pest control). I never received a call from them until they they wanted payment. At that point I didn't want service anymore. I called to discuss with an account manager and was "disconnected" during the "transfer process". I emailed to cancel service explaining what had happened and that I was not satisfied with an incomplete service. The response was that my account was canceled and I was charged the early cancel fee which amounts to $345. I would understand had I received any full treatments. I called again and asked to speak to an account manager. I was told that was not possible. She said she was billing and could help me. I explained that I would not be paying a cancelation fee for services not rendered. I stated that they had breached the contract by not providing service and that it is as if no service had ever been completed. She just kept saying, "You signed a contract so you will have to pay the early cancelation fee." I said, I did not receive service which is a breach of that contract and is no longer binding. Again, she said you will have to pay the early cancelation fee regardless. Again, I asked for an account manager, the CEO, the owner, anyone with the capacity to discuss this. She again, said that's not possible. Unfortunately, I have had to send this to my attorney today.

My entire experience with Hawx was disappointing and I wish I had never switched from my prior pest control service. I signed up believing I was saving money but the monthly charges ended up being more than what I was paying elsewhere. I called to cancel and was told I had signed an agreement for.a year so I couldn't. I had many more spiders in my house this last year than I have had in the prior 4 years living in the house and the only difference is that I had changed to Hawx for this year. I had them come out for an additional service and there was no change. When I called to cancel after my year was up they said that my service went through the end of the month and would I like a final service. I said sure (and it still did not decrease the spiders). I noticed I received another charge on my credit card so I called. They said oh you had to call us back after the service to cancel. That was NOT what was told me on the phone and then she said that's what was in the email we went you after the call. Well, I didn't read that email (why would I, we had just confirmed on the phone the service and the cancellation). So now I just paid for another month of service that I didn't want and still did not work. Really unhappy with the whole experience, although the technicians themselves were fine. There are so many other pest control services out there, I would avoid this one.

I have had Hawx service for over a year. It wouldn’t have been that long if I hadn’t have signed an agreement. My house is older. I tried to make allowances. But today sealed it. The technician was on his phone for a good part of his ‘five-star treatment’. I will attach a few pictures of some of the cobwebs with spiders he couldn’t be bothered to hit with the brush as he was having his conversation. I feel like a paid for service to get rid of ants and spiders and got more ants and spiders. Money is too tight to be wasting it on this.
