Swat peat came to my home (highly recommended by a family member) for the first time. I was quite impressed with the service I received. First, let me say that the Tech (Nick) that came out was very professional, friendly, and answered all of the questions I had. He explained what he was going to do, and was very thorough. I had issues with ants, and a contract with another exterminating company for years. Without going into a lot of detail, Swat Pest took care of my home inside and out to help control my problem. Sprayed in areas I had not seen the other company do before, bait outside, and inspected my home, garage, inside and out. Although it was the first visit, I know what they did for a family member with the same issues. They had not seen any more ants in a couple of years. I hope like them, I won’t be bothered too often or not at all with ants or anything in the future. Thank you Swat pest. I plan to have them come out quarterly. The initial visit cost more, but the quarterly visit was comparable to what I was spending with the other company.

I live in the Foxfire Apts on Evansville Westside. I guess the apartment complex has a contract with them. They have been to my apartment a million times for gnat or fruit flies in my year here. I still have them a year later. I would not recommend this company to anyone because they have not worked for me getting rid of them My apartment is clean. No food or garbage laying around. The stuff just doesn't work.

would give zero stars if i could. they were supposed to come on 6/25 to inspect/spray my apartment because im having problems with wasps. 6/25 comes around and no one ever comes to my apartment to talk to me. i received no calls or emails at all. today, 7/1, i killed yet another wasp in my apartment. this is 6 of them now. so i called SWAT to ask why they didn’t show up last week and i was told they came by on 6/25 and 6/26. i said well if they did, no one came to my apartment. the lady on the phone then read off that “they spoke to the resident and she informed them that her apartment didn’t need to be sprayed because it had been recently done.” absolutely no one from SWAT pest talked to me on either of those days or the days after. they are either lying on their documentation or they spoke to one of the 3 other residents (not me, the one who they were supposed to talk to) and didn’t bother confirming it was the right apartment. that’s simply just negligent and not right either way. the lady (who was very helpful) then scheduled someone AGAIN to come see me at my apartment on 7/3. she said they would call me when they were on the way. hopefully they show up and actually speak to me, but i’m not confident about that.

Not happy at all, I explained my bugs problems with a swat pest office and send a person that was 20 minutes only , spray a little bit of quimic and he left, I am not happy at all paying $ 160 for a very bad service.

We had a technician here on Tuesday and I was very upset when I heard him having a heated argument on his phone outside by his truck. So glad I didn’t have my grandkids here as he was cussing and yelling at the person on the phone. After he came in,he was very personable and did his job well, but the heated argument could have been done after he left.

Company came onto my grandma’s property and sprayed our blackberry bushes without permission. Company was hired by my grandma’s neighbor and they should not have been on my grandmas property. I put a lot of work every year into the blackberry bushes and harvesting them. I also take pride in them being clean and safe to eat. This is no longer the case.

I had a treatment done to prevent the roaches from next door migrating here after they get their treatment. I'll update my review if it doesn't work. Update: It took them 5 weeks to spray the house next door. Let's just say the preventive treatment I had done did NOT work. They wanted to charge the full amount to come out again. I ended up buying some good store brand spray and it works great! Wouldn't recommend.

I just got off the phone with a representative. She promptly told me that no technicians have been to my house to treat my yard since April. I told her that I paid a technician last Friday(July 7 2023) to treat my yard. Oh, she said.. I see that we treated your yard last Friday.. I told her my Son mowed the yard yesterday and got bit up by chiggers(Tuesday July 11 2023). Oh she said, you have to wait 7 to 10 days for the treatment to work. WHAT 😳..? I am done with swat can't control pest.

I have some concerns. The boxes I had in the rooms heated were not moved. Drawers I had emptied with stuff out were not sprayed. Air conditioner was turned on at 2 pm when he left but all my aircontioner vents were completely closed. Luckily by time I arrived my air conditioner wasn’t frozen. Boxes and things in other rooms were not moved when he sprayed. I know exactly where they were sitting when I left. Not much spray was done I could barely smell anything when I came home. I did exceptional prep so I know how I left my home. I have concerns job not done properly.

Kathy, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Your prep was reported by the technician as wonderful. There have been multiple conversations between our management staff and you explaining what needed to be done for the prep of your specialty treatment. We provided a heat treatment inside the home for your Initial Service as well as a residual chemical application. We used the low odor chemical Suspend Polyzone as management explained to you, with that application done at high temperatures the chemical will dry quickly and be undetectable. We advised you to not close your vents to your AC and you still closed them unbeknownst to us. We did turn your unit off as we advised you we would do and not turn it back on when the treatment was completed as explained during the 2nd phone conversation to address your questions. Our goal is to leave your home as close to the condition as it was when we arrived and our technicians are trained to do this at every job. I am sorry that you feel the job was not done properly but we assure you it was. The proof will be in the elimination of the pest.

We called them in the beginning of July to take care of our mosquitos. We asked about spraying once to see how well it worked and they said that was fine. They came and sprayed and a few days later noticed they charged us for a full season of recurring treatments. Called back to have the rest refunded and they claimed “we don’t do one time service so we won’t refund you” so we thought okay whatever we’ll just go with it. It has made no difference in our yard since they sprayed the first time and we keep our yard well kept and it’s not very big. Called back and told them we want to cancel the remainder since we aren’t satisfied and they said it was our fault because we didn’t have them come out in March yet they never mentioned that when we originally called. So they treated our yard knowing that it wouldn’t work just to get our money. Terrible customer service and unfriendly. Even had the audacity to say “call us next year in March so it’ll work better”. Would not recommend.

I personally spoke to your wife and believe there was a miscommunication when it was relayed to you, but none the less your frustration is heard. I did explain that a program throughout the summer would be a great addition to any property and that the one service you received may not have taken the way we would want, based on factors such as rain and what not. I am sorry we did not meet the expectations that we set for ourselves and I would like to offer you a service at no cost if you would like for us to treat the property again. We had the unfortunate experience of getting bed bugs in November of 2016. We live in an apartment complex, and due to a contract we were set up to use Swat Pest to eliminate our bed bug problem. My issue is the lack of communication between Swat Pest home office and their technicians in the field. We were given a date that the first appointment(dog sweep) would occur the last week of November. Following that appointment we were told that we would have 3 follow up appointments 12/2, 12/9/ and another all clear dog sweep on 12/16. After this we didn't hear anything. We have a dog(who doesn't handle strangers or other dogs well) and a cat. Each week I would call Swat Pest on Wednesday/Thursday to try to figure out a window of time that they might be there so I could let them into my apartment, to secure the dog, and for piece of mind, I mean who wants strangers in their house? My biggest concern is that my dog can be aggressive to larger dogs, as he feels threatned by them, and I wanted to avoid a conflict. Every week a woman from Swat Pest took my name and phone number, promised to pass it along to the techs, with the idea that they give me a phone call when they were on their way to perform the treatments. Not once did I receive a phone call, forcing my apartment complex to let the techs into my apartment twice, and leaving me feeling frustrated and vulnerable. The 3rd time, I had to wait at the apartment for over 4 hours since they wouldn't give me a time, and we couldn't afford to miss the treatment, as my apartment complex was closed that day for their Christmas party, costing me over $60 in wages. When I called Swat Pest today to try to get to the bottom of this I spoke with Jim, who told me despite his associates taking my name and number, and promising to call me when they were on their way, never entered my updated my information on the file, and that it wasn't Swat Pests problem. I worked in customer service for over 5 years, and this is not how you treat a client. As someone who is footing the bill for almost $1,000, I feel incredibly frustrated. We had no say in choosing Swat Pest(contractually obligated to via Apartment Complex), and I will not be recommending them in the future.
