R.B. Pest Solutions

$50 appraisal fee to come out and give me a price for a 2-story, *preventive* bug spray around the home and putting down sticky traps. Technician comes out and gets right to work, and the final fee was $260 which was charged after the service was already done. We probably would have said yes to the service anyway because the technician was already out at our house, but it was a pretty big “sticker shock” feeling. This also seems to be a much higher price than other companies performing the same service we have had in years past, and they require that appraisal fee so you are roped in to the $200+ service already. I can’t recommend them because they didn’t do anything outright wrong, but really just felt a little like a bait-and-switch situation. We will probably shop around more for a better price in the future but wanted to try a more local company than we have in years past.

Always excellent service I use Rb Pest Solution more than once. They did exactly what they supposed to do always on time. Very professional technician was great. The last Technician Jamar was on time , I ask questions about my service and he answered very professional and I understood the entire process. No more ants !! The next day my problem was gone it’s been almost two weeks now and not a single one!!! Love it I definitely recommend!!!!!

I am very satisfied with the thorough inspection Jamar did outdoor and inside our house. He took photos and explained our situation clearly. Entry points for mice were identified, and traps were set up. One mouse was actually caught while Jamar was still at our house. Which he promptly disposed it outside. The office staff was very courteous and emailed invoice promptly which allowed me to pay electronically. Pricing was reasonable given the work that was done.

Sewer rats got into my basement which was very traumatic for me. I called R.B. solutions after getting the run around from Orkin for almost a week. The initial technician came the very next day. He spent a considerable amount of time analyzing the problem. Not fully satisfied with what he suspected he called a more experienced tech who came right over to inspect. They used a multi-step process that took about a week and for a fraction of the amount Orkin wanted to charge. I can't say enough about the kindness, professionalism, knowledge of this company. I will continue to use R.B. Pest Solutions for quarterly inspections and I highly recommend them to anyone in need.

I am never one to leave any negative reviews about any business, normally when I have a bad experience (which is rare) I just keep going and never forget the service and not patronize again, but the unprofessionalism I just experienced compelled me to write this review. To be fair, I've used this company for over 3 years and the service HAS BEEN GREAT...until today. For starters, I called Friday June 6th to schedule an appointment for Monday June 9th between 11a-2pm. Monday June 9th comes around and no one shows up. When I call after the window given (2pm) they rescheduled me for a visit on the same day, ok..no problem. The worker tells me an amount higher than the usual amount, I first agree to the charges and the worker proceeds to start treatment for my unit. Curious about why it is now $60 more, I called R&B Pest Soultions. Initially, the operator (same guy who didn't schedule my appointment in the first place) answers the call and gives some unexplainable answer as to why the charges are 60$ more, him obviously not knowing what he is doing, hands the phone to a woman. After checking their social media page it seems like I spoke to the owner or manager someone who had "the authority and most of all.... the audacity" She initially gets on the phone and explains to me that AFTER A YEAR that another assessment of the premises is necessary, but my last service with the company was back in November 2024, six months ago, A year and six months are two drastically different measurements of time, and that was the reason for the extra charges. She held firm to her stance and that's when the belittling began. Keep in mind, they didn't initially keep the original appointment had I not called, I wouldn't have had anyone show up! At this point, I am frustrated, you didn't show up, now you are charging me more?!? I asked while upset, what's the extra 60 dollars for are you pocketing my money? During the breakdown of why the extra charges were attached, I was met with many sarcastic comments from this woman such as "sir no one is trying to take your 60 dollars, this is a thriving business", "one thing you not gone do is disrespect me" as if I'm a kid and as if I'm not the customer who was inconvenienced. I was the one disrespected!!! She then stopped and proceeded to attempt to give me directions on how she wanted the call to go and to listen to her as if I was a child- I was simply calling to ask about the extra charges when this woman got upset because I wouldn't oblige her talking to me as if I'm a teenager, and told the worker to leave my property. I've supported this black woman's business for almost 3 years and to see how she addressed a LOYAL CUSTOMER and supporter (as I started patronizing after hearing her on the radio) is disheartening, per your request I WILL find another Pest Solutions Company. Continued success..

Kyjuan Buchanan was the professional technician that was sent to my CHA senior building. Wow. What a great job this young man did. I am 80 years old and could not move something for effective treatment and Kyjuan did it. Got to an area that was not treated for 14 years. I was so happy with everything that he did. Your company should reward someone like you.

We had a problem with mice. They came out and put down baits. It did the job. I recommend. Folks mice can multiply quickly. Traps caught nothing. Sticky bait caught one mouse. Get ahead of them. Trust me.

Their service was excellent. They were very kind and provided clear information since the begging.

They are a very professional and thoughtful but every company has its flaws… The technicians were great. They were very knowledgeable and gave me very solid advice. I will not deny the fact that my rodent problem was resolved. I have not seen any new signs since being serviced. However, there were instances that kept me from giving them a higher rating. I just don’t feel like the services rendered are worth the price. I paid about $500 for them to put down bait stations and sticky traps. The same items that are available on Amazon for far less. Not to mention only one mouse was caught on the sticky trap. They did find a possible entry point, but only filled the hole with steel wool. Same steel wool available at Home Depot. I had to go behind them at actually seal the entry points. What really took the cake for me was the mice that were eating the bait started dying in the house and it smelled absolutely terrible. Apparently, they do not remove any dead rodents that are not easily accessible. I was told that I pretty much have to wait for them to decompose and the smell would eventually go away. I had to leave my house for over a week because I couldn’t stand the smell. This just isn’t the type of service that I am used to. We used Orkin years ago and received full services, including locating the dead mice and removing them and sealing all entry points, as opposed to simply stuffing them with steel wool. I wanted to give them a shot because I support black owned businesses, but overall I’m a little disappointed. Again, I will not lie and say that my problem wasn’t resolved. I just wished the approach was a little better, especially for the price.

I want to express the good professional service I received. Mr. Curtis was kind, neat with solution and very informative about what the solution and safety precautions as what it use for. R B Pest Control help our facility tremendously. We have been dealing with Wildlife around the facility grounds for the last month. Terrance Wildlife Technician work with us daily, communicating letting us know the Do's and Don't. Safety precautions given to the staff and he was very caring with the Wildlife captured on the grounds. I give them 5 stars

What a fantastic experience this has been for me today, thanks to the expertise and professionalism displayed by Thomas. He was not only polite, informative but efficient, I have had several agents come to my home for extermination services but Thomas is the only one that have done the JOB required. Oh boy! Warren was absolutely wonderful! He was very kind and sensitive to my situation. He listened and sincerely wanted to help me with my bug problem. At the inspection, he called his colleague for some input. That discussion was a disaster! The man on the phone was making judgments without any evidence. I’ve been cleaning and spraying for three years. The situation was continuing to get worse. Thank goodness that I reached out to RB! With one treatment, my bugs are gone! THANKS!

I would definitely come back to the store if not for anything else but the advice the store owners give. Excellent knowledge of bug control. Lots of their items are professional grade, and they instuct you how to use the product. The peppermint bug spray is really nice smelling and I bought a jug of that to spray around to deter ants ect.. I am not sure how well things work so I will update the review later.

I don't like writing negative reviews but I would not recommend. I started using this company in the beginning of December and they did not resolve my issue for mice. The type of traps they used the mice were literally avoiding them. They did find some entry points but did not get to the root of the problem of why little mickey and his friends kept coming in. The 1st tech who came seemed to care but he did not do enough to figure out all the entry points and the follow up person didnt even throroughly look around my house to see if my issue had been resolved. To get rid of mice you need to have a company that offers an exclusion service and a gaurantee to help you until the problem is gone. This means a technician that is skilled enough to identify every aspect of your home for rodent entry. If they are not doing that, than it literally is "pest control". I would suggest this business consider offering a better sevice to help a customer get rid of this issue for good, because rodents can cause more costly damage if you are a homeowner (replacing insulation, tearing up the roof, etc.). I ended up spending more with Terminix but at least its a gauranteed service.

I used this business in 2020 and they got the job done. I’m having the same problem and decided to call on Wednesday February 8th to make an appt. I knew they were closed on weekends so I asked for a weekday appt. The young lady informed me that they were open on weekends and she could have someone out to my house today, Saturday February 11th between 12-2. She also saw that I used them before and informed me that the price was still the same including the $50 inspection fee. Well here it is today Saturday February 11th and no call or no show. My husband and I are really disappointed in the unprofessionalism of this business. We try our best to support minority businesses but sometimes the business makes it so hard to patronize them.
