Founded in 2006 by Inland NW Resident Jacob Borg, Pointe Pest Control has grown from a single office in Spokane, Washington, to multiple locations throughout Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Montana. Today Pointe employs an impressive group of experienced and knowledgeable professionals committed to problem solving and serving our customers' needs. Pointe Pest Control is proud to give back to the communities it serves through a number of avenues, including an annual Scholarship Program awarded to graduating Seniors in Washington, Idaho,Oregon, and Montana. In addition, Pointe conducts an annual Charitable Bed Bug Treatment program called 'Take a Bite of the Holidays' that includes a complete bed bug treatment for a family in need.

I have used pointe pest for a few years now and at the beginning they were thorough in the service they provided. In the past year or so they haven't communicated or done a complete job every time they service my property. I called the owner and was able to talk to him and ask him for a reimbursement or to take some off of the bill his exact words were we charged 117 plus tax the most we could do is 100 plus tax to me that's super disrespectful I own businesses out here and I would never do that to a client that was questioning our service. I feel like there was extra involved in the decision this is a company based out of Idaho and more often than not their technicians when they would see me I could feel that they were intimidated and wouldn't make eye contact so I don't know what that's about, I feel like that flows from the leadership. And the way that the owner was super dismissive almost being condescending on the phone gave me confirmation.I'm leaving a review like this because the service has never been done Correctly for about a year and a half now. Not to mention the things that they were spraying for they weren't effective at deterring bugs my family has been bitten multiple times by spiders and things that they were supposed to be spraying for. I would never recommend this company to any of my clients let alone any of my family. I'm going to be trying another company called Patriot pest control see how their services are. If you're looking for a company that is accountable and owns up to the mistakes that they make this company's not it I would encourage you to do some more research and find another.

Zero stars for pest control, zero stars all around. This is not a pest control company, they are a snake oil sales company and will try to convince you your walls are full of bugs so that you sign a contract that they dont expect or want you to fulfill once you see the worthlesse excuse that is provided as "service" in the form of 2 minutes worth of tossing pellets on the ground that are supposed to deter bugs by... who knows? Stay away, not a service provider. My home is much better taken care of with a bottle of home defense spray from home depot and so is yours. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!

The last two visits the tech left a note that they had been by to service my property. That’s it. No feed back as to what OR if my problem still exists. I have no proof that there was any service performed.

Don't waste your money. I signed a year contract, paid alot of money up front, was billed every three months and all I got was crappy service and more spiders! I never had this bad of a problem before. They are always in a hurry, they don't lay down a good barrier and sometimes they would show up and sometimes they wouldn't. I regret going through this company

Aaron our field manager has been great, I wish I could say the same for the call center. No one ever answers the phone and if you request a call back your lucky if it comes under 48 hours. This used to be a good company to work with, but no longer. We will going with a more responsive company for pest control needs in the future. Shame.

Pointe Pest Control came into my private patio space that is frequently used by people and animals and sprayed haphazardly all over this space and beloved plants, to include an old, thriving grapevine, contaminating not only the grapes that we and the wildlife eat, but larger planters below filled with perennial herbs and other edible plants. There were no pests here, and this was all caught on a security camera. There were about 60 plants and soil affected. I did not authorize Brian access to this space nor did he or the office consult with me about where any pest problems were, he brazenly came into a private area while I was not home and sprayed without consideration. All he had to do was call me like he had before when I had two wasp nests, which he took care of earlier this summer. The plants are ruined and the company is insisting I pay the for the service. Trust is severed and I will never use them again. This is highly unprofessional and unethical, and has put me and my animals In harm’s way. I specifically told the company I only hired them to rid of the wasp nests two months ago and didn’t want ongoing services, as I have no need for it. They sent me one text reminder which was lost in the midst of multiple text and email promotional ads. I wasn’t expecting them because I didn’t need their services any longer. Their communication is misleading and not transparent, and they’ve taken no accountability for their actions.

The technician showed up, set outside for a few minutes then drove off. My wife immediately phoned Pointe and was on hold for a couple of minutes when the technician returned. She then met him at our front door at 2:31. They spoke of what procedure would be accomplished to include the driveway and sidewalk. She then went to our office. At 2:37, he was in the truck driving away. Can you explain to me how my large home and yard can be professionally and quality performed in less than 6 minutes? Are services actually being rendered? Why did he show up and leave and then return a few minutes later. Basically, I’m paying approximately 25 dollars a minute to have my home pest controlled and what if I hadn’t been here. You state most services can be rendered without clients being home. Now I wonder if this technician or any would actually perform the service with no one home. I’ll be talking this over with my wife to decide if we’ll continue this service, look at a different company or simply do pest control ourselves. To say I’m thoroughly disappointed is an understatement. You want to tip him 10 dollars go ahead and deduct it from my bill. I feel totally taken advantage of and am not pleased. Shady, business practices. They they like to come and treat when you’re not home and not do the inside or the garage. Say that you have a full balance due, even though you’ve tried to cancel and then give you the runaround and peer pressure, keeping it. Services didn’t even work. There was still spiders and problems on the property.

We found that each service appointment had a new 'technician'. The lack of continuity with their staff required us to reintroduce the new person to our needs each time. I attempted to cancel multiple times, but the company refuses to 'make permanent changes' to my account unless they get to talk to me first, which includes attempting to convince me of 'other options for service'. I just want this company to stop contacting me. Their pest control service was not effective ... and now they are the pest.

We were supposed to get our heat treatment done at 8am on Wed 22, they said they would get here between 8-8:30 but never showed up. After getting ahold of someone they said they canceled and we’re going to reschedule because of the snow (like they’ve never seen it before). It snowed about 2 inches and we didn’t get any sort of call or heads up that they canceled. The thing is there was a lot of preparing that had to take place for this heat treatment. Everything had to be unplugged from every outlet, no indoor plants could be exposed or they would all die from the heat, any sort of lotion, perfume, makeup all had to be removed as well as firearms and any ammunition. So after removing all of those items from my premises (which took about 3 hours) for us to get a no call no show is pretty frustrating. After talking to the supervisor about all of this all he had to say in return was “poor service because of weather issues”. This situation my family is in is already stressful enough, and for all of this to unfold while trying to get it taken care of let alone spending $1,300 is absurd to me. They didn’t offer any sort of discount afterwards either. I would not recommend this company to anybody i know, they have been unprofessional from the get go.
