We had a fantastic experience with Patrick from xceptional Wildlife Removal! He came out promptly, and it turned out the noise we were worried about wasn’t something trapped inside the house at all—it was just a big woodpecker outside! Patrick quickly identified the issue, which saved us a lot of money and unnecessary hassle. He was super professional, checked the roof and the chimney cap for us, and gave clear recommendations on what we needed to fix, even though it wasn’t something his company directly handles. He also let us know we could call him back if the woodpecker became a recurring visitor. Plus, he was really friendly and funny, which made the whole experience even better. Fun note: we had actually tried using AI to figure out the noise from a video clip, and the AI thought it was a raccoon stuck inside. Patrick’s expertise beat the AI hands down! We’re really grateful for his help and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Patrick Cross is the master of Rodent control. I had a mess in my addict caused by squirrels and other rodents. Patrick and his team at Exceptional came to the house diagnosed and cleared my problem. Exceptional followed up with me and ensured that the problem is fixed. Other companies were trying to charge me for unnecessary work and Patrick and his team completed the work for less then half of anyone else. Xceptional pest control was great at helping me get rid of my moles in the yard. Shawn was the guy that came out. You couldn’t ask for a better guy and a better person to communicate with. If you got rodents in your attic. Go else where. Spent over 2 grand with this company and it didn't fix one thing. They try to charge additionally for rodent trapping instead of fixing how animals get inside your house.. On top of that they left 4 useless traps in my attic. Buyers beware before you waste your money.

If I could 0 stars I would. Had an appointment for a 3-5PM time slot. By 4:30PM there was still no call or update from anyone as to when they would be arriving. I had to call to find out that the tech was running behind. When I asked if there would be a discount for the inconvenience, I was told no and that in fact they would have to reschedule me for 4 days out. Very unprofessional company. Highly recommend you stay away.

A 26 year old young man showed up and stayed 2 hours with most of the time being multiple conversations on the phone with his boss. Finally he quoted $1700. to do a full house perimeter seal, while only going up to one spot on our roof and never entered the attic. We had 1 squirrel above our master bath in an enclosed space we wanted extracted. He was told to hold firm with the bid. We told him we wanted an alternate quote for less, but he said that wasn’t an option. He also said squirrels were nesting now, adding to our concern, but that turned out to be false. To add to the total lack of professionalism, he commented before he left that he did not like the college (sticker)on the back of my car. WOW!

All though this rating is for my initial interactions with the company. I wish I could give "Justin" five stars for his attempts to make things right after contacting the company on several occasions and not hearing back. I am disappointed in the company's handling of my situation but again Justin gets five stars!

Traps and spray do not work. Workers do not show up when they say they will.

The technician was fantastic! The administrative side of the experience, however, was a challenge. The office did not have record of receiving a check for the first half of the job and, consequently, did not contact me to schedule the initial work. I had to call them to get that scheduled and again to confirm the technician's arrival time. Once the first half of the work was done, I had to call the office again to have the second half of the job completed. In all, I contacted the administrative office four or five times. No squirrels in the attic though...so kudos to the technician!

The company is run out of their Virginia location. Attractive website and nice people, but a poorly run outfit. They must be too busy b/c they were would not respond to repeated emails and phone calls after their initial but incomplete service. I had critters in my attic and they did well to identify the entry point and put out traps. But at the same time they hard sold their monthly $70 pest control service by suggesting they won't help if the animals come back. As a homeowner with a problem right then, the hard sales tactic was very unpleasant. I would recommend a different company.
