My appointment was for 2:30. I got home at 1:40 to meet the technician. There was no paperwork left, so I don’t know if he has been here.

They keep rescheduling because a tech is out sick,been waiting for them for 2 months. Horrible service.

We were customers for almost 4 years with SWAT, the former owners of our house had a contract that we continued. They were reliable and had a technician come out and inspect our bait stations 2 (maybe 3?) times per year and also once in awhile inspected parts of our house inside. However, the technician who usually came out to inspect the stations was not thorough and it was pretty obvious that with each visit, some bait stations were not looked at as the pine straw around them was untouched. But, in 4 years we never had any active termite infestations that we knew of, so they must have done the job. The real reason for the negative review is for how they handled the approach of upgrading our bait stations and how they've handled things since we are no longer their customers. We spoke with our SWAT rep multiples times (maybe 3 or 4) in the process of deciding whether we wanted to upgrade. My husband and i are diligent scientists who know how to read and use data, and the SWAT rep who tried to sell us the upgraded bait stations provided some information that was not entirely accurate with details comparing the bait stations with the termidor liquid (half life of chemicals, water solubility after application, approach, etc.), based on publicly available information from reliable scientific sources. We asked SWAT for a termidor quote and they said they would provide to my email address, and never did. When asked, they said they needed more information based on square footage, which they should already have considering we were current customers, and also they didn't say they needed that initially. Regardless, they never seemed to want this information in order to complete our termidor quote. They instead called to remind me about the upgrading bait stations. And, working with the SWAT rep was frankly unpleasant as this guy was somewhat condescending to me, always reminding me of his 20-something years in the termite business and how he's such as expert. In the end when I told him we were going with another company, he asked me why. I asked if he wanted me to be honest, and I said it was because of him. He told me on the phone good luck since our house had major issues with termites. (That made me feel really good considering they've been in charge of termite control for AT LEAST THE PRIOR FOUR YEARS). So in the end due to multiple factors and just not feeling very good about dealing with our SWAT rep, we decided to go with another company. I then spoke with someone in the SWAT office, who very kindly arranged for them to remove their stations. SWAT promptly came and removed their old bait stations several months ago and our service fees ended July 23. Now, multiple times since they removed the bait stations, I am still getting calls and voicemails and paper mail reminding me to upgrade my bait stations. I don't even have bait stations with them anymore! Yesterday (mid Aug 2023) the same SWAT rep called me and left a voicemail about upgrading my bait stations. Clearly their bookkeeping and attention to detail is lacking, and they seem to be motivated to sell bait stations and not liquid termite treatments - maybe this is profitability related. All things considered, we can get better service elsewhere for a similar price.

in september 2021, we paid for a year of coverage for our termite canisters. joseph came out to fill them, but we weren’t home so he left. no one ever came back out nor contacted us. chase showed up today to pick up the canisters from our yard and we mentioned that we never had them filled even once. we found the charge on our credit card from september 18, 2021. they charged us $340 to fill our termite canisters and for a year of coverage. we were contacted by a member of their support who informed us that we were only covered for that year and even though they were never filled, they will not refund us $340. they literally stole $340 worth of services from us. that did not go toward labor, as they werent filled, it didn’t go toward supplies as they weren’t filled, and it didn’t actually go to coverage because they weren’t filled! absolutely ridiculous. $340 is a lot of money for this to fall under a reputable business’ radar. do better.

Our previous homeowners had Swat for termite so we continued with them. I had already started pest control with another company when I finally spoke with them, so I switched my pest control to them and have not had a good experience. The technicians are great, however, we are getting more pests than we had before with our previous service so i'm not sure how well the products are working. I called immediately when I saw roaches and the soonest they could get a technician out was 5 days later. . .by then I may have an infestation. Not what i paid for!! Other companies will get out within 48 hours. Get another company for pest control.

Not happy with SWAT. Waited 3 months for them to come back and do repair work after termite damage. I called the office 3 times and never had a return call. Then they finally came to fix it and said they'd be back the next day to finish. Never came. I left my door unlocked all day. Called the office to inquire when they would be back..had to leave a message and never got a return call. Finally did reach someone and turns out they will be back in a WEEK to finish. My family room is all in shambles. Not happy with SWAT.

Terrible service. Rude. A rip off. Avoid at all costs.

Find another company. Swat services cannot seem to stick to the simple agreement we had when we initiated service with them that they would call the day prior to inspections so that we can lock our dogs up so the technician can inspect the bait stations in the back yard. Year after year, we receive a notice from them that the back yard stations weren't inspected because the dogs were in the yard. They are also poor at returning phone calls. Spend your money elsewhere or be disappointed.
