I've been using Northwest for over 15 years and am happy with their service.

Contacted their wildlife team to take a look at a burrow we had in the front yard. Wildlife team member came out and said its a rat hole. He proceeded to check inside the home and said he found no droppings or feces but was adamant that it was rats. He recommended we remove entire insulation in the attic even though there were no feces or evidence of rats in the home and he said that the rats hide and live in the insulation and if we don't replace insulation we are at risk of getting ill. He further said that 40 percent of the air we breathe comes from the attic - which is a completely false statistic. He also said we should do an Inclusion on the home. (which was not necessary since it was just done 4 months ago by our roofing company) We contacted 2 other wild life companies, an insulation expert, and a roofing company and they all said that there was no evidence of rats. They all re examined the hole on the exterior and came to the conclusion that it was just a chipmunk hole that led nowhere. Long story short, this company is great for pest control but their Wildlife division tries to upsell you on services that are not needed, they are not knowledgeable at all, and not trustworthy. For wildlife removal contact other trustworthy knowledgeable companies who know their information.

I used this pest control company after seeing small flying insects around my kitchen lights every evening. The technician arrived with proper equipment and first checked drainage lines, sink areas, and garbage disposal zones. He explained that moisture buildup was attracting drain flies. Instead of heavy spraying, he focused on cleaning treatment inside drainage points and applied a safe biological solution. The process was less invasive than I expected. There was no strong smell or disruption. Within a few days, the flying insects reduced noticeably and the kitchen feels much more hygienic at night now.

I called this pest control company for a rodent issue in my storage room. The technician arrived on time and first inspected possible entry points around the house. They identified small gaps near pipes and advised sealing them to prevent future entry. They placed traps in key areas and explained how the process would work over the next few days. I liked that they focused on both treatment and prevention. Within a short time, rodent activity reduced, and I haven’t noticed any further issues so far.

They are fine for general pest control and I loved Russ, our neighborhood's main pest guy. But their wildlife removal inspections/process is horrid and led to my canceling services with them. We had an obvious squirrel problem in our attic and called NW first as our pest control service. The first inspector came out and said he saw nothing and no evidence of squirrels despite video of the sound we had and clear evidence that it was occurring during hours that were in line with gray squirrels. I called two other companies and both came out and did a far more thorough inspection, including actually getting on the roof to find entry and exit points so that we could ensure that if we were going to pay the hefty sum, that it would be done appropriately. I wanted to give NW a fair chance to win the business though so I called them back out with another inspector. This guy was even more useless and was like the world's worst used car salesman. He immediately walked up my driveway and said "I ain't getting on that roof" and then did a 5 minute cursory inspection of the house and attic. He then said yeah I'm not sure how the first guy missed it and proceeded to tell a story about how there were pheromones everywhere and that he would recommend I pay him $15K to do trapping, sealing/exclusion and insulation replacement. I have no idea how he even knew what he was going to seal based on his 5 minute inspection, but I knew then that this was not a reputable company that has its customers best interests at heart. No other company I called took it to this extreme even though I was only a customer of NW. I finally decided on Smart Solutions, a local and family owned company that quoted a much more favorable price after doing a 2-hour inspection (for free) and examining every corner of our high roof to ensure all 18 possible entry points were sealed. They won my business as a pest control customer as well. Avoid NW and support local/small business instead as they will take better care of you and not try to scam/defraud unassuming customers.
