Matt the best most consistent lawn guy ever

I've been working with Matt and Lawn Doctor for over 12 years. I first saw them working in my neighbor's yard then when we moved and I saw the beautiful zoysia lawn on my new house, I knew I had to have help or I would no longer have a beautiful zoysia lawn. 12 plus years later, my lawn is always beautiful and people often comment on it. It is an investment, but well worth it!! MATT is very responsive and has answered my questions and handled special situations for me, I have recommended them to several friends and will continue to do so!.. Thanks for helping me have a lawn I can enjoy!

Matt is terrific! He knows his profession and explains everything clearly during every visit. Their pest control is great dealing with mosquitos which are really challenging in our wooded yard. Matt has also takes excellent care of our grass. He even recommended what to do with our “annual” lantanas so that they return every year. They do everything from fertilizing to aeration to weed control. We highly recommend Lawn Doctor!

We switched to Lawn DR about 18 months ago and are very pleased. Not only do we pay half of what we did with our former company, but the lawn looks great & we get amazing service with the same tech, Matt, every visit!

Matt is very thorough and always shares good commentary about what he is doing while visiting our yard.

They do not provide the treatment to the entire lawn. We have weeds. When you call and tell them you have the time spent on camera,they don't care.

We had them come out for a first service which was alright, didn’t kill many weeds. The price was good, but I knew something was off when they told me to call them if I ever needed anything. They never prescheduled my next appointment, so I called and neither their number on the website or on the receipt answered. It would either hang up or send me to Voicemail. I’ve now called 6 times over the last two weeks and can’t get anyone on the phone. I would “cancel” my service but I can’t get anyone on the phone to tell them I am done!

This Lawn Doctor ruined all our brand new Easter yard decorations by spraying liquid aeration and another chemical all over them. We had them on display for a little over a week. When Lawn Doctor showed up to treat the yard, instead of seeing the yard was half covered with inflatables and signs, instead of using common sense and rescheduling, they sprayed anyway. This not only ruined our brand new yard display (I cannot wash the stains off), we also didn't get the lawn coverage on the treatment we paid for. Got a really lame apology/excuse from Jeremy the owner, and no offer to reimburse the ruined items. $200 worth of brand new decorations ruined. If we had known they were coming, we would have rescheduled. Very unhappy.

I gave Lawn Doctor an 18 months trial paying after each service. A red flag started early in the trial when my newly landscaped backyard was not treated at all but Matt said he did service it. I have multiple cameras that capture action in overlapping areas and none captured the service Matt said he did. He claimed that security cameras often don't capture action but he came to see my backyard and admitted he didn't service my yard; he asked me to call him directly in the future instead of the office. Second red flag was after a heavy downpour that resulted in nearby flooding less than 24 hours after my yard was treated. Jeremy insisted that the application would not wash away and no retreatment is needed or given. Third and final red flag was when I was home and Jeremy said that Matt said he had treated my front yard but I watched and no granular fertilizer or weed treatment was done, although he was in his vehicle for over 30 minutes before he left. If you have Malik service your yard, you won't have issues.

I used Lawn Doctor for almost 3 years, and my yard has more weeds now; than when this service started, during this time it never got that rich green color this year the weeds are out of control, I would think after 3 years of service my 1+ acer lot would look beautiful like the pictures that they advertise; and it never did. I followed all instructions they provided and watered regularly with my inground sprinkler system (8 zones) When I canceled, they just said goodbye and didn't try to make it right- I guess it was too much for them to handle in our upscale neighborhood

Disappointed in service. Once we let them know, got a bunch of excuses to why they did not make good on promises.

Still have weeds and grass is not thick.

Why Lawn Doctor keeps asking me to write them a review on Google I have no idea, but here it goes. I had my lawn treated a total of two times. After the first time, it looked pretty good. But I noticed after the second time they came, it rained almost immediately. And shortly afterward the lawn looked not so good. I asked them to come back and they graciously did. But once again, the guy treated the lawn on the same day it rained HARD (maybe 2-3 hours beforehand). Furthermore, there was no sign left in the yard, so when my wife came home with our new puppy, she had no idea the lawn had been sprayed. I had received no notification they were coming that day. They work out of the same town so if an immediate rain cancels the effect of the treatment, I would expect them to do it again. Not surprisingly, the lawn looked like hell. Violets were always my problem and continued to be. I never received much counseling from them or any of the lawn companies I have tried in the past. Nothing different with this one. I wrote to complain and asked that they cancel. I did this twice because I didn't hear back after the first time and found that odd because these guys were always so nice on the phone and surely expected a "we are sorry to see you go" type email. Nope. Nothing the second time either. Took the money and ran. But they got the review they wanted.
