My home was serviced by Dixie this week. I had a nice introductory phone call with Cliff over the weekend. He was responsive and helpful, and said the technician would bring a moisture meter with him, which is what ultimately sold me on their services. The technician did not bring a moisture meter and was very surprised that was promised, so I don't understand why Cliff mentioned it. The technician also did not take the time to understand our problem and did not spray in our biggest problem area. He rather seemed to follow a standard checklist, and we do not feel great with the services received. I have been trying to get in touch with Dixie to no avail, which is odd given how responsive they were during the sales stage.
Joe and Justin is so kind and helpful.
Wonderful company, we are extremely happy with their work. They completely resolved our bug issue and their techs are been very thorough and very nice! I would recommend Dixie to anyone and everyone! They got the job done where other companies could not.

I have been using Dixie exterminators for a very long time. Jamison Robertson is my tech. First of all I would like to say Dixie exterminators really does an excellent job Keeping my house pest free. My exterminator, Jamison Robertson is Very professional and polite. He explains everything completely and always has a smile on his face. I would highly recommend Dixie exterminators doing your service and please ask for Jamison, he's the best.

We’ve been working with Greg from Dixie Exterminators for the past four months, and the difference has been incredible. I have used Dixie Exterminators for years and I have always been happy with the service. Here we are, the week of Thanksgiving, and my bathroom gets swarmed with ants. When I reached out to Greg, my service tech, he told me he was filling in for someone and was working two routes but he would make sure to fit me in. He came and treated early the next morning. The next day, when my guests were due to arrive, not a single ant! Thank you for the prompt and efficient service Greg!

After asking friends for recomendations, I decided on Dixie. They have been prompt, courteous and more that efficient. Their tech are top notch, friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend Dixie Exterminators! A professional, family-run company over generations, Dixie recently expertly removed a huge wasp/hornet nest near our house. Dixie also accurately predicted how the ant problem inside my car, that is housed in the garage, would be resolved after their general pest- control treatment on the perimeter of our home, and they were correct. On top of this excellent resolution of post and wildlife problems, they offer excellent proactive costumer service: you can always quickly talk to, or communicate with, a real person. (Just today, my longstanding HVAC company has switched to having AI answer the phone with 6 questions to answer before someone will maybe call me back... ) This is NOT Dixie Exterminators way of doing business! All of Dixie's staff is local and willing to talk over the phone, by texting, or in person to solve the customer's pest and wildlife concerns promptly and professionally.

Just spoke to Joe on the phone about these scary looking Joro spiders making there new home our house. I am out of town, and my son came by to check on the house for me and was freaked out. He sent me photos, and the house is covered. Joe is a very honest man. He recommended a DYI fix, to power wash the exterior house top to bottom. Joe said the chemicals allowed in Georgia will not kill these not poisonous outdoor spiders. They all die off in late November with the cold, but will be back next year. I have learned these tropical Joro spiders are somewhat new here, first appearing in 2016. Spreading and multiplying quickly. When I get back I will hire Joe to get rid of my growing basketball size wasps nest and buy a power washer. Good people at Dixie, give them a call.

These brightly colored orb-weavers, originally from East Asia, were first spotted in Georgia around 2014 and have been spreading throughout the Southeast ever since. Fortunately, they’re not dangerous to people or pets, and they tend to die off in the colder months. Still, we completely understand how unsettling it can be to find your home surrounded by them.<br><br>Joe’s recommendation to pressure wash the exterior of your home is a great way to physically remove webs, egg sacs, and adult spiders from siding, soffits, and eaves. It’s one of the most effective non-chemical strategies available for this particular pest.<br><br>To clarify one point: while it’s true that common pesticides are less effective on spiders due to their biology (they don’t groom themselves in the same way insects do), there are professional-grade products that can help when applied correctly, especially when targeting areas where spiders are most active. These treatments are most effective when paired with physical measures like web removal, trimming back vegetation, and reducing outdoor lighting that attracts their prey.<br><br>We’d be happy to assist when you return—both with the wasp nest and any additional needs.
