Pestguard just completed the Thermal Acoustical Pest (TAP) control insulation in our condo, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results! Gary, our condo association’s pest control expert, recommended the TAP system as a preventative solution and provided detailed information on how it offers both pest control and year-round thermal protection. The Pestguard Termite crew—Joe, Josh, Alanda, and Adel—did an outstanding job during the installation. Joe and Josh arrived early for a thorough pre-inspection and site preparation. Joe carefully inspected the attic while Josh removed the damaged insulation. Joe also suggested repurposing usable insulation that had fallen from the rafters to help increase the R-value and improve efficiency, which I appreciated. Meanwhile, Alanda and Adel prepared the equipment for blowing in the TAP loose-fill cellulose insulation. Alanda worked in the attic with help from Josh to ensure even coverage, and when the job was done, the entire team cleaned up meticulously, leaving the space spotless. I highly recommend Pestguard for their exceptional service and professionalism. Gary’s detailed explanation of the TAP treatment gave me full confidence in the process, and the crew’s thorough work exceeded expectations. I’m looking forward to improved energy efficiency and the added peace of mind that comes with effective pest control.

As a company that hires individuals representing your company, we feel you should know about the behavior of one of your employees. During a recent stay at one of the many rental properties on Siesta Key, our unit was being inspected for termites. After learning where we were from, one employee became political and the conversation became uncomfortable. We tried to ignore the comments and continued talking with the other employee. More comments were made by the one employee until we had to say something and the other employee appeared to be trying to leave. I have informed the property manager of this behavior and would think it's advisable that some professional training in customer relations should be added to employment.

I usually use Pestguard for everything. Don’t know what’s going on there anymore. I called repeatedly to get an appointment. Then, my address was taken down incorrectly. So, I missed days of work and was dragged for 3 weeks. Will not be renewing my contracts anymore.

Pestguard is an untrustworthy company. The only reason I have stayed with them for 20+ years is because I had Termite treatment contract with them for fumigating my house. They broke that contract 10 years ago and decided to take my shed, which was on the original contract, off the contract. I still stayed with them because to get new termite insurance with another company was too expensive for me. I also had their quarterly bug Spraying service, and I watched as the technician sat in his car, did not get out of his car, did not do his job and then drove away and then they billed me for that visit. I have cameras on my house. They did this twice. Never again. And then they fired me for being a difficult customer. I think there is something illegal about that. Do not use them. They have lots of bad reviews on Yelp.

I hired Pestguard to do Termite Tenting in August. I needed a technician to come back to inspect the damages they cause on my roof as it has been leaking everywhere on my lanai since they removed the tent. I used to be able to sit out there and relax. Now, every time it rains, my table, chairs, and rug get soaked. I have spoken to Rick Smith, Mark Helm, and Shawn at the office, and they each promised they would be out to fix it. Well, now it has been a year, and my roof is still NOT fixed, and now none of them will even be professional enough to return my calls! It's bad enough that Pest Guard damaged my property, but it's disgraceful when they make promises to fix it and do not keep their word. #BewareNoCustomerService

I see that Pestguard gets extremely high ratings from reviewers. Congrats to those who had a good experience. But that was not the case for me and my husband. We were tented and I feel sure the termites are dead which was after all the point. On the outside we had landscape lighting fixtures and sprinkler heads that were destroyed but I guess that is to be expected considering the massive effort of tenting a house. Here is my heartburn. Our Pestguard salesman told us on several occasions that nothing had to be addressed inside except for foodstuffs or opened food containers. So we did as directed and left it in the hands of the experts to tent. During the tenting process a very large painting crashed down causing damage to the painting, credenza, and totally obliterating a large ceramic centerpiece. I was notified by phone by the salesman after the tent was removed that the painting fell. He nor anyone else from the company other than the actual extermination crew came to the house to inspect the damage. I was simply told the painting had been hung improperly. THE PAINTING HAS BEEN HAPPILY HUNG IN THE VERY SPOT FOR TEN YEARS! The man who told me this was the manager of the extermination crew. He confirmed he was never at the house. He also assured me he knew of what he spoke because he had hung HUNDREDS of paintings including Pollocks, Rezniks, and many others worth MILLIONS! His tone was that of patient parent speaking to a clueless toddler. Condescending. So after spending over $8,000 for the tenting we are now faced with restoration costs which could run up to $3,000. We are expected to swallow this dismissal that the painting was hung improperly - TEN YEARS AGO! So again glad so many of you had a good experience. Ours was dismal. But our termites are pushing up daisies.

BEWARE!! I have been a Pestguard customer now for over two years. Up until recently I was pleased, however I recently contracted them to treat for subterranean termites. When drilling the concrete across our porch, then drilled through the electric line going to our lamp post. After several phone calls, they finally sent out the "Service Manager" Ron to have a look. He confirmed and said he would turn the issue over to "his" electrician and that they would be in touch with me "tomorrow". Several days have now gone by, I have started calling daily and all I get from the office staff is the Ron will give me a call - he does not call back. Today I called again, the women if the office gave me a number for what Ron told her was the electrician... she did not know the company or the name of this person. I called the number and it goes right to voice mail. Pestguard is quick to collect your money. Between aerial termite tenting + subterranean termite treatment + quarterly general treatments, I have spent well over $2200 in the past two years with Pestguard. WHEN YOU NEED THEM TO FOLLOW UP ON AN ISSUE AS IN MY SITUATION, GOOD LUCK !!!

Signed a contract in November of 2018. Exclusion, fumigation, and pest control. Fumigation was postponed until January, no problems there. Exclusion was "performed" in January. The tech barely sealed our home and we complained. Could with little force push the wire away from the house allowing entry. After constant attempts to get the technician to fix their error, we are given a new one to fix the issues. It took until the beginning of July for them to finish the exclusion of our home. It is November and we have received a renewal notice for a job that was only completed 4 months ago as well as the fact there are rodents in the attic again. I highly suggest not using this company.

Terrible experience from day one. They do not follow through with the contract specifications and Customer service is terrible! I would never recommend these people to anyone!!!
