Matt came by my little cottage near Pinecraft to check on our termites. He really gave me some good advice. He is the type of guy you trust immediately. No pressure, free estimate. He gave me my options honestly. In the end I decided that I will just tear down the house and build a new one but I appreciate him taking the time to give me his expert advice. If I ever need pest control he will be the first person I will call.

I did extensive research on different pest control companies, and most seemed eager to recommend treatment plans whether you truly needed them or not. Matt was the rare exception. He came to my home, provided expert guidance, and rather than trying to sell me something, honestly advised that I could handle the issue myself. I recently moved here from Maryland and was greeted with a few dead roach friends upon arrival. I put down some bait traps, and they seemed to go away for several weeks. Then, one morning, I had a giant American roach (Palmetto) in my orange bowl. I sprayed with home defense and still had more. Hall's to the rescue! It took about 8 weeks to get rid of the adults and babies, but I am finally at the end. These pests are true, hardy "Florida boys" protecting their queen. It turns out I had both American and Brown Banded that arrived with a small leak in a wall. Matt and the tech Alonso were very patient with me and used a variety of methods to eliminate the adults and babies. Because I was using a professional, the population was contained in one area and we were able to eliminate them. I will now be using Hall's as a preventative measure and will recommend them to anyone who wants to win the pest battle.

Matt doesn't use nonsense scare tactics. He simply informs you and gets the job done. Appreciated.

Very great experience with halls termite and pest. I noticed a swarm of termites flying In my lanai one night so I decided to call a couple of termite companies. After getting a few quotes, I found Matt with halls termite and pest through next door. Matt was the only one who did a full inspection in my attic to make sure there was no damage done prior to installing a bait systems The price was fair and he went above and beyond. He was also very knowledgeable. I will also be using them for my pest control. Highly recommend.

A neighbor referred me to Matt for the bat infestation I had in my attic. Matt came to my house and was very professional and knowledgeable with how to quickly remedy the problem. Matt sealed up the exterior and put up nets and a week later came back to my house. Matt also inspected the attic to make sure there wasn’t any dead bats up there and to see if the attic needed cleaning. Matt did clean the attic and was very respectful to make sure there wasn’t a mess left behind. I would definitely use Matt Halls service again if needed and would also recommend Matt to anyone who has pest issues.

I recently bought a house that was said to have rats at one time, but the last inspection said that they were gone. Terminex was the company that “got rid” of the rats. Shortly after moving in it was clear that they were not gone. I contacted Terminex and extended the existing contract thinking I would be saving money, as the prior owners had spend $3000 getting rid of the rats. At first, Terminex came out several times always saying whatever they did would solve the issue. The rats never went away. Soon after that, Terminex would say they were coming and they would never come. Time and time again, I was promised someone would deal with the rats but they never did. I finally called Matt Hall. Matt called me back almost immediately. His promptness and professionalism was outstanding. After his first visit and treatment of my home, we had caught 2 rats writhing 10 hours. After that, I have had zero issues. The service that I received from Matt was like night and day when comparing him to Terminex. He was prompt, professional, diligent, and just a great guy to talk to. Thanks to him, I am now rat free and can finally start to enjoy my new home. Thank you again, Matt!

I moved here two years ago and was in desperate need of pest control. The home I purchased had been under construction for some time and some undesirables would occasionally find their way inside. I had tried several other companies since moving to the area, the others were okay but Hall's really knocked it out of the park. I watched Matt Hall in action the first time I used him several months ago and was really blown away by his professionalism and knowledge. Matt does all the work himself, even removing the spider webs from the lanai which no other pest control company did. I have also called them on an emergency basis and they responded immediately. I walked into my bedroom one day and the floor was covered with ants. Foolishly, instead of calling them, I used an ant bait which turned out to be the worst thing I could have done. Matt told me the bait I used would now attract more of them into the house and boy was he right! He was very proactive in controlling the ant situation in the correct way and I never had an issue again. He warned me that ridding a house of ants can be time consuming so try and be patient and that he would probably have to do more than one treatment. Fortunately for me, whatever he did to treat the situation did the trick the first time. The ants were gone and have never returned. All calls are answered or returned promptly which is another thing that sets them apart from the other companies I tried in the area. I recommend them highly and use them on a quarterly basis now.
