Dustin and the American Rodent crew were great! Our local Little League had a rat issue that had been going on for years. Dustin came out and with his vast knowledge of rodents, quickly found the issues and came up with a plan. The building was excluded and the trapping began. Happy to say we are rat free! Highly recommend American Rodent!!! They are incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. They do high quality work and don’t cut corners. We had a very tricky roof to deal with and they came out without complaint multiple times to ensure everything was taken care of. We have had no issues with rats since they finished the job! We had an armadillo problem and I called Justin. He came out promptly and set up his trap. Within two days the armadillo was in the trap! The only problem was my ring. Camera revealed a second armadillo. Justin came back out and reset the trap and on the third night we caught the second one, mission accomplished! Justin was Great and communicated every step of the way. His pricing was very reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend Justin and American Rodent. They will get the job done!

How do you give 5 stars to a rodent control company that didn't catch my digging armadillo. Customer Service! I had called another company who never showed up for the appointment. When I called back they said the service rep never got the message all the while not sounding very professional. I cancelled an offer to reschedule and called Dustin at American Rodent. Should have been my first call! Dustin dealt with me himself and was very professional from the get go. He came at the appointed time and explained everything and what was involved from my end which was just checking daily to see if the doors on the trap were down. After many days of being around, my armadillo decided to go elsewhere and we didn't catch him. When I spoke to Dustin, I felt his genuine concern for having charged me while not successful at catching him. Rather than just say goodbye, he offered to provide some additional support by dropping the trap off again for a few more days when I noticed the armadillo back in the yard. That's the kind of customer service that builds a business. I would highly recommend American Rodent & Dustin.

Dustin and Bruce were great to work with, they went above and beyond to help with our issues. We had critters running around but managed to block them off without damage. Hoping traps stay empty so there’s really no harm! Highly recommend! Always great to support a veteran owned co. too.

We called Dustin with American Rodent Sarasota to come inspect our home for a rodent issue that was not being solved by another company we hired. Dustin came out same day and figured out the problem right away, after some sealing around our ac box and a couple other areas we are now rodent free! Dustin rodent control methods are the best.

I’ve lived here for 15 years, and my husband his entire life. Never had to ask this question before… but needed an armadillo removed from under our ac pad. We asked Dustin and Bruce to remove some armadillos that were causing damage to our landscaping and that of neighbors. Using both a metal trap placed directly over a burrow, then a wooden trap placed in a usual feeding area, they captured two. Bruce and Dustin were professional in every way - quick response, competent, and very reasonable rates. And they do not harm the animals in any way. We can't recommend them enough.

A large armadillo took residence under our home. Dustin returned my message the same day, set a wooden trap he had designed and humanely caught it, in 1 day. They filled in the borrow and removed the armadillo. Reasonably priced and well worth the money!

I like that this company doesn't use chemical for the extermination process. A plus especially being an pet owner, but On the initial visit for the quote, Dustin took measurements of my home, and then gave me a quote. While explaining the contract He also mentioned that the crawl space would be cleared out before being boarded up and traps being set. This never happened, and after I inquired about it he pretended like I heard wrong. I had to reach out to the company in order to get someone to start the project. Understandably this was during holiday season, but as a customer who paid half, and did not receive a follow up for when everything would get started ,was unprofessional. .. Bruce came out the following week and completed the project in 2 days, and i was happy with his work. **Important note**unfortunately I did not wait before throwing bait underneath my home before calling a pest company since funds were low. As a result, rodents died underneath my house, but was still hopeful there were more** After Bruce finished the project, he came back the same week(Week right before Christmas), and checked the traps after I mentioned i heard something the night before. I was told that the traps would be checked every other day, but no one came by to check traps since before Christmas 2022. . I explain this All to Dustin , and was given attitude and basically called a liar after he kept rebuttaling the actual events of what I was relaying to him, even saying he came by and checked the traps 1 time, which was untrue since I am a disabled veteran who is home all of the time . He had an attitude with me over the phone, and also never sent a receipt of the finished payment when he took it at the end of December, and never apologized . UNPROFESSIONAL and Poor Customer Service I also feel I paid more than what I should have. Will not be using this company again

I can't recommend American Rodent Sarasota enough! My renters contacted me letting me know that there was a rodent issue and only a few short hours after speaking with Dustin, he was at the house to give me an estimate. He quoted me 1/3rd of what the renter's received from a big pest control compny and Bruce was out the following day to lay the traps and seal everything up. They came out every other day and within a week, there was no sign of any more rodents! You will not be disappointed hiring American Rodent Sarasota for your rodent removal needs!

He went to the house the next day to see the issue, came up with a plan and within a few days he had traps set. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. Cleaned up very nicely around the house. He came back several times to handle the issues. VERY professional, honest, efficient and a man of his word. I would recommend this company for sure .
