Unfortunately, I called and was told Roy would be calling later that day with details and to schedule. When i didn’t hear from him, I called back to check. I was rudely told that he will call when he gets to it on his stack. I t

Our yard has never looked better! I wish I had taken before and after pictures to share but trust me when I tell you that we have seen dramatic improvements! Josh is great and takes the time to consult to see if you have any questions, he will even make sure to ask if you need to let pets out before he services your yard! Thank you for making our yard look like the thick, lush green carpet that we always hoped for!
Provider response
Laura thank you so much for taking the time to write your review! I’ll share it with the team and especially Josh! Have a wonderful day!!

EPLS has been servicing my lawn for the past three years and after trying several other companies, there is absolutely no comparison. Steven is a true professional whose knowledge of lawns, shrubs and trees is remarkable.
Provider response
Thank you Sasan for your review. I really appreciate you taking the time! I'll share your review with Steven on Monday - what a great way to start the week!
Ralch Luc
Worst company I've ever hired. They have no idea what they are doing or anything in the industry. You will regret hiring them!
Provider response
Hello, I would appreciate discussing your concerns. I don’t have a customer with your profile name. Roi.

Kathryn Hardage
Very pleased with the service I receive from EPLS, both from the owner and the tech's. I appreciate that they make recommendations for actions I can take to supplement the service they provide. Also appreciate they notify me evening before day of service. My lawn and I highly recommend EPLS.
Provider response
Kathryn thank you so much for taking the time to write your review. I'll definitely share it with Jason (your service tech) - it will put a smile on his face!
Mark Albright
My lawn is the BEST it has ever been. Previous big box companies have tried, but EPLS has achieved it. Before my yard was just surviving - after only a few treatments, my yard is THRIVING. Tailored chemicals to my specific yard "issues". Very few weeds - phew. Dollar weed gone after one treatment. The drive / sidewalks are blown off at the end of the treatment. I HIGHLY recommend these guys - great job and well worth every penny. Get a quote and see for yourself.
Provider response
Mark thank you so much for taking the time to write your review. We really appreciate it! I'll share this with Steven, your technician - it will put a smile on his face!

After purchasing a new home and investing in a new lawn, we were referred to EPLS for lawn care and pest services. I give this company 3 stars solely because I have had no issues with the pest services and pest technician, but I would give zero stars to lawn care and lawn technicians. We pay 100$ a month for MONTHLY lawn treatment. Apparently this does not mean approximately every 30days, this just means at anytime in the month. Meaning our lawn going WELL OVER a month without treatment. The lawn technician assigned to our home would come and spend not even 5 minutes on our lawn, and then be in his car in the front of our home for 30 minutes or more and eventually drive off. Additionally, damage was caused to the exterior of our home due this particular technician; however, the company did offer to pay for the damage. I had to cancel service today after strike 3. This same technician said he came to my house but the dog was outside and no one answered the door so he had to leave. This was a complete lie. I have 5 cameras all around my house, including a ring doorbell, and no one ever from EPLS was at my house. For 100$ a month for “monthly” lawn service, it’s absolutely insane. I’ve spoken to Roi the VP regarding these issues, and he seems to be a really nice guy and cares about his customers, it’s a shame that his technicians are not held to any standards.
Provider response
Good morning Shannon. Thank you for writing. I'm glad you enjoyed our Home Pest Prevention service and I'm sorry that our Lawn & Plant Health Care services didn't work out for you. I wish you the best with a different company.
Krista Kretman
EPLS cares for their customers homes as if they were their own. After moving to Orlando from MN and never encountering fire ants, when our daughter stepped in a nest and got hundreds of bites, EPLS came out the next day and sprayed our yard. We treat once a year and have remained fire ant free ever since! It’s been 5 years and we do t have e to worry about our kids stepping in a fire ant nest. Roi and his team are top notch. Jeff paying so much to the details of our home ensuing we are pest free, Christian for ensuring our yard is safe for our pet and kids…they are simply the best. You’ll never regret having EPLS taking caring of your home!!
Provider response
Thank you Krista. So glad that we can help with Fire Ants! 🔥 🐜
RD Mathis
I’m speaking today about the salesperson Mike Remy. He was worth 5 stars. Very professional and his follow up skills were outstanding. Thank you Mike
Provider response
Hi RD, Mike Remy doesn't work for EPLS, but I'm glad that you found someone to help you with your wasp management.

Response to Roi: EPLS leadership holds a Master’s degree from the University of Florida, yet repeatedly gave recommendations that directly contradict UF/IFAS turf management guidance. That contradiction set the tone for the entire service experience. We retained EPLS for nearly three years and paid over $4,000 in lawn service fees, excluding the additional thousands spent annually hiring outside contractors to replace sod after the same areas of our lawn failed every single year under their management. EPLS does not install sod, does not offer sod replacement, and states this is “not their responsibility,” yet continued billing while the lawn predictably declined. We are now left with a half-dead front lawn for the third consecutive year. This was not seasonal dormancy. Dormant turf loses color — it does not repeatedly collapse to bare soil in the same locations. Annual sod replacement is not coincidence; it is a documented pattern of failure. When asked to explain the pattern, EPLS rotated through explanations — watering, traffic, dogs, shade, weeds, and weather — often contradicting themselves. We maintain continuous video surveillance of the front lawn, which removes speculation. The affected areas were not trafficked by people, not damaged by dogs, and properly irrigated under a professionally monitored system. The only consistent presence in those exact areas was EPLS’s technician during routine service visits. Despite claiming professional expertise, EPLS encouraged watering during a cold snap, then blamed us for reducing irrigation to avoid freezing saturated roots. This advice directly contradicts UF/IFAS recommendations, which clearly advise against irrigation before or during freezes and recommend winter watering only under favorable temperatures. EPLS later acknowledged they would not water their own lawn under those conditions — directly contradicting the guidance they attempted to fault us for. EPLS also stated the lawn is now “mostly crabgrass.” That observation is accurate and revealing. Crabgrass does not overtake healthy, properly managed St. Augustine. It colonizes bare, weakened soil after turf has already failed. Presenting this as a cause rather than a consequence reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of turfgrass biology. The individual presented as the primary professional managing our lawn was Josh. According to EPLS’s own materials, Josh holds no degree or formal training in turfgrass science, agronomy, or soil management and has been with EPLS since 2019, with prior experience limited to general pest management. Despite this, he was positioned as the authority diagnosing chronic turf failure. His explanations shifted month to month and lacked technical clarity, which became increasingly evident as the same problems repeated without correction. Our neighborhood, Sweetwater Oaks, is entirely mature oak canopy — effectively Wekiwa State Park with houses — yet many neighboring properties maintain healthy St. Augustine lawns, even in heavier shade. Our lawn failed including areas with minimal shade, rendering the explanations provided unnecessary. Management ultimately acknowledged the repeated turf loss was “not okay,” declined responsibility, and became dismissive when presented with documentation. At that point, the service crossed from ineffective to professionally embarrassing and unacceptable. After three years, significant expense, and zero corrective outcome, this reflects persistent misdiagnosis, disregard for UF/IFAS standards, lack of qualified turf expertise, and poor oversight. I would not recommend EPLS to anyone seeking competent lawn care.
Provider response
My name is Roi Levin. I'm the Vice President at EPLS. Our Technician, Josh, has been servicing Ashley's Residence for about three years. Over the years, both Josh and myself met with Ashley and her husband on separate occasions to review their lawn and address their concerns. Until recently, the lawn has done relatively well, with occasional issues with insect pests and manageable weeds, which our services treated for as part of ongoing services. For the past six months or so, the front lawn has declined significantly due to intermittent lack of water and proliferation of grassy weeds, and the back lawn has consistently been damaged by the Customers' dogs. This has been noted on service notes, which were emailed to the Customer, and was conveyed in person during visits to the property. As communicated with the Customer many times, verbally and in writing via service reports, EPLS cannot manage grassy weeds in their lawn as there are no effective selective herbicides for management of these weeds without killing of desirable turfgrass. We advised them to renovate grassy weeds-infested areas. While Ashley claims that "no one walks in the affected areas" and that their irrigation "is professionally maintained and seasonally adjusted", the facts are that their front lawn did dry out extensively and traffic is a concern, which lead to decline and infestation by untreatable weeds. Grassy weeds took over the majority of the front lawn. These weeds now died following several recent cold snaps, as they are annual weeds that die in the winter. As professionals in the industry for over 30 years, we apply professional products to encourage healthy lawns and landscapes. We cannot control mother nature, change biology, or treat issues that are beyond the scope of our services. Issues that are affecting the Customer's property, including intermittent lack of water, traffic stress, and infestations by grassy weeds, are beyond the scope of our services. In fact, our Service Agreement specifically states that "treatment of grassy weeds is excluded from services. Customer is responsible for mitigation of grassy weeds...", and "proper watering...practices are the responsibility of the Customer." We wish the Ashley the very best with her future landscape care.

NO STARS FOR EPLS ! "Had to push one star to be able to post, one star is two too many " ! When i started using EPLS over a year ago i was promised a reasonably beautiful green weed and bug free St Augustine lawn . The first few months my lawn started looking a little better, but sadly started going down hill month by month to what i am left with today, ( see phots ) It is in my opinion if you are possibly planning to use EPLS consider looking around. EPLS is a small family owned company and are very nice people , but well pictures don't lie. It saddens me to have to write this review but it needs to be said. it is going to cost me hundreds if not thousands of dollars and a lott of time to bring my lawn back to an acceptable level . If EPLS really cared and had a conscience they would refund the hundreds of dollar that I waisted on there service, or lack of. Sorry you all , but EPLS really dropped the ball on me. I am not normally one to write such a negative review and not a complainer but here we are !!! VERY UNHAPPY X-CUSTOMER, Scott Hunt $$$$$$$ WAISTED ! You have my address if feel the need to refund my money !! ***** In response to your reply to my accurate previous post, my lawn is getting the proper amount of water that has been checked by an irrigation specialist, and obviously the rest of the lawn shows that . The problem is you have not been able to handle the weeds and pest (bugs) that have entered my lawn and taken over. So as to your suggestion that some how the problem is my fault is a completely WEAK statement , irresponsible and a poor direction to go on your part. Also besides the obvious huge dead bug infested areas there are many more weeds in the lawn than when i started service with ELPS ! Again please be aware people are not stupid, my pictures show the problem, total neglect not on my part but obviously yours ELPS !!! The right thing to do is to refund me all the money i have unfortunately wasted by using ELPS. p.s. I'm certainly sure i will have a much better lawn with the new lawn service that i have chosen to replace EPLS. Sadly, Scott Hunt

Thank you Scott for your review. You’ve been our customer since February 2024 - thank you for your business. During that time, you haven’t contacted us about any issues until August 11, 2025, when you called about brown areas in the lawn. We came out the same day and identified the issue to be lack of water. We advised you to water these areas more and ensure irrigation is effective in covering the areas. Four days later, you contacted to cancel your service. Now, over a month later, you're posting a negative review about how your lawn looks. Our services included fertilization, weed management, pest treatments, and disease management. Watering your lawn is your responsibility. Unfortunately, a few areas of your lawn declined due to you not watering enough. Proper watering and encouraging recovery with a little fertilizer would have fixed the issue. Best of luck with your next company, who will undoubtedly receive a negative review when issues occur beyond their control as well.

We switched to EPLS after not seeing any progress with our lawn from another provider. Within two weeks our lawn was dark green and finally growing! The other company spent over a year on our lawn and it was yellow and we barely had to cut it because it didn't grow. Our technician, Shannon, is fantastic. He always knocks on the door to give us an update and recommendations on what we can do over the next month. Their pricing is fantastic, too. We are paying less than we used to and are getting better service for that lower price. I highly recommend EPLS for your lawncare!
Provider response
Thank you Amanda for your review! I agree that Shannon is great! And so is the rest of the crew! Please reach out anytime!

I am so pleased with the service I received today! I called and immediately got a response! Mr. Roí Levin asked me to send pictures so he could assess my lawn immediately to see how we would proceed forward. His response was immediate. His plan of action was immediate. I have not gotten better service anywhere, ever! Completely floored at how professional, knowledgeable and responsive he is! Thank you so much for all your help!!!

We have used EPLS for over 10+ years! We love them for anything that has to do with pest, shrub and grass control. They are honest, clean, fair, prompt and family at this point. You will never find another company as perfect in the Orlando area!! I don’t know what we would do without Jason and Roi!! J&S

TJ Blake came to give estimate for lawn service. He was very kind and professional. He answered my questions and helped me understand things I was not sure about. I felt very pleased in my selection of lawn care service EPLS. The next day TJ Blake was back to do the first treatment. Again he answered my questions and walked around the yard pointing out examples of sod worm damage and various weeds that do appear in my lawn. I do give a FIVE star to Mr Blake and the services provided by EPLS and look forward to building a business relationship that I can know and trust.
Provider response
Jackie thank you for leaving your review. You and I just spoke on the phone at the office. TJ is great and we are so fortunate to have him as a member or our team. I, too, am looking forward to a great business relationship! Please reach out anytime!

*** UPDATE *** Roi paid me a visit, I appreciate his desire to promptly address my concerns and meet me at my convenience. This talks greatly about his commitment to EPLS and his customers. As perceptions are reality until facts talk, Roi and I put our frustrations to rest, and continue our relationship with a renewed understanding and expectations to both. Nothing that a phone call can’t handle it from now on. Thank you Roi! I have been using EPLS for many years, this is my second property that I continue to use them and unfortunately I see the evolution from a great service company to a corporate platform. Used to be customized plans, not anymore. Now they tell you when to their convenience, single minded approach, textbook recommendations and visit reports that seem to be pre-written paragraphs unrelated to history and conversations. Find more arguments of why they can’t help than even what they do great. Figure because they care about to manage their cost and profit than lawns now. Have to take it upon my self to keep a nice lawn, and manage “untreatable” weeds, while paying to get a report pointing to not only the obvious, but what has been discussed already with them.
Provider response
UPDATE: Thank you Lito for meeting with me. As we discussed, I (and everyone at EPLS) take our commitment to service AND customer service very seriously. I appreciate your business!

Thank you for your thoughts, Lito. This is Roi - I'm one of the two owners here at EPLS. I don't have any accounts correlating to your name. Maybe they are under someone else's name? I'd like to call you to discuss your concerns, but I don't know who you are. I find your concerns regarding our company's structure perplexing. It appears that you appreciate a small business that provides superior service, which is what you currently have with our company. You note your disdain of the corporate platform, which EPLS is certainly not. You post a negative review, which is very damaging to the small business, rather than simply picking up the phone or emailing your concern. Seems counter intuitive to me. Our company consist of 17 team members, working out of one office. Heather, our office manager, answers the phone and keeps our business flowing. Sometimes you may get me on the phone. Our team works hard every day to provide great service to our customers. Does this sound like a corporate platform? With inflation causing price increases for everything from truck maintenance to fertilizers and even uniforms, we should have increased prices to keep profit margins from falling. But we didn't - because we know that everyone is feeling the effects of inflation and felt we can ride out the year without rocking the boat. Does this sound like corporate greed? When I joined the company 20 years ago, we printed service tickets on a dot matrix printer. Cell phones were not a thing, so if we needed to contact the office, we had to use a pay phone or a pager. Talk about inefficiency! As the years progressed, so did technology. We went from hand-writing reports, which demanded repeating common information over and over again, or providing fact sheets with information about services provided, to being able to eliminate paper altogether and type up reports on the phone from our customers' homes and email them instantaneously. As part of this process, I custom-wrote descriptions to common issues that we see in homes and landscapes every day. This way, when we are out in the field, we can simply click a button, and the information gets included as part of your report. Seems logical to me! Saves time, saves effort, and simply makes sense. I'm sorry that you don't appreciate the consistency of our methods - most of our customers certainly do! As for you specific concern with grassy weeds - unfortunately, there is no way to remove grassy weeds from St. Augustine Grass (with the exception of 'Pro Vista', which you do not have) without killing your grass. This is an industry-wide problem. A product for this purpose that can be used legally on residential lawns does not exist at this time. I ask that you remove your negative review and contact me to discuss your concerns. Thank you, and I appreciate your business!

Matt at EPLS is awesome! I contracted with at least 4 to 5 different lawn service companies over the past 5 years with no success of eradicating the weeds taking over my lawn, along with dead patches. So, I asked a neighbor whose lawn always looked beautiful who he uses, and he said EPLS. So, I signed up with Matt at EPLS about 6 months ago, and I can't believe my eyes. After 5 years of looking at weeds and dead spots and thinking I need to replace it all, I'm instead looking out my kitchen window and loving my beautiful green lush zoysia lawn. So happy. Thanks Matt!

Thank you so much for you amazing review! I shared it with Matt and the rest of the team! Have an amazing day 😁

I have been a EPLS customer for almost 4+ years after installing a new St Augustine lawn. EPLS was suggested by the installer. Christopher has been my technician since the start. He is fantastic...explaining what the applications are and recommendations on keeping the lawn at its best. Chris certainly knows his trade! I would not want anyone but Chris. I hope management is aware of his value to his company! Chris keep on keepin on!
Provider response
Hi Gary. Thank you so much for taking the time to post your review. I really appreciate reviews that provide specific details. Well, I appreciate all reviews, but especially detailed ones! I will definitely share your review with Christian. I have no plans for removing Christian from your area. However, in the future, if we need to optimize Christian's service territory and you end up with one of our other team members, I'm sure that you will appreciate their enthusiasm to their profession just as Christian does. We are so fortunate to have such an amazing team here at EPLS!

Sebastiaan Blickman
EPLS is the best lawn care service. They are incredibly gracious and generous with their services. Christian lets us know before he comes to the property, answers any questions we may have, sends photos of their work, and then provides advice/tips for the next visit. He even came out 1 extra time for help with the new sod.
Provider response
Sebastiaan thank you so much for posing your review! I’ll definitely share it with Christian when we get back to work on Tuesday. I hope you and your family have a good weekend!
Jose Ruiz

EPLS provides outstanding pest and lawn services! I've been consistently impressed with their professionalism, knowledge, and dedication to keeping my property healthy and beautiful. A special shout-out to Matt (AKA Mr. Mango)! Matt is an absolute pleasure to work with. His expertise is evident, and he always takes the time to explain treatments and answer any questions I have. He's incredibly friendly, personable, and truly cares about his customers. It's clear that Matt is a valuable asset to EPLS, and his positive attitude and commitment to excellent service make all the difference.

Ryan thank you so much! I will definitely share your review with Matt! And you’re right - he’s all about mango propagation, but also figs and other fruit! We are so fortunate to have him as part of our team!
