Inspection report is well done, but when I asked if there was anything of concern the inspector said no. Turns out the two air conditioning units are 20+ years old, upstairs tub doesn't drain properly and patio GFI outlet is dead. These seem like standard things to check or mention.

I’m writing this review to share the unfortunate experience I had. I was referred to JT inspections in 2021 by the realtor I was using at the time when I was purchasing my townhome. During my home inspection, it was documented on my 4 point that the home had copper plumbing. A few months ago, I started the process of selling my home and was informed that the home did not have copper plumbing, but in fact had polybutylene, which made my home nearly impossible to sell. I reached out to JT inspections for some sort of guidance or clarification to the matter and spoke to a woman who had no empathy to what I was going and pretty much disregarded the situation. She informed me that I would get a call back, and no one ever did. As a homebuyer, you trust that your home inspector believe will provide you with accurate and reliable information in order to make an informed decision, which JT inspection did not do!! I’m extremely disappointed on how my situation was handled and would not recommend using this company at all. This error has caused me over $11,000+ in repairs that could’ve been avoidable!!! I recommend in the future using a more skilled and professional company even if it means paying an higher cost!!!!

I had a wonderful experience with JT Property Inspections today. They provided a quality detailed report on my home that was easy to read. They were very professional with great pricing. If you have a property in need of inspection you too should call JT property inspections, they are the best.

I just had an inspection done today on my home that's under contract, only two years after hiring JT Inspections did an inspection when I purchased this home in 2015 and the different was night & day. The inspector I saw today said I should've gotten all my money back from JT. Not only was our homeowners insurance policy cancelled four days after closing for dangerous FPE electrical panels that cost us $5K in 2015, but today the inspection revealed exterior outlets that were not GFI's. Who calls themselves an inspection expert and misses GFI's on the front and back of a home with a pool!? There were several other "old" issues to report, but I'm too angry to continue on. Don't hire them. Even my insurance agent had to hire another inspection company to complete a detailed wind mitigation report after we had all new hurricane glass installed because JT's was poorly & unsatisfactorily done. Steer clear or you're be taking Tylenol for migraines once you own your new home and spending lots of cash you weren't expecting...

Great inspection company. I have used them several times. Quality reports, inspectors show up on time, reports are ready quickly and they have great prices. Would highly recommend them.

JT property Inspection did the inspection on my new home, Carlton Morgan did the inspection. He came up with 2 minor problems costing $600. Upon moving into the house we had to fix bad wiring that was not permitted. No water pressure in the house, the stair case is not to code. No doors would even shut, all doors had to be modified to close. Dryer did not work the first day, washer smoked out entire house the second day, AC on the fifth day exploded during a storm due to bad wiring. When we contacted JT Inspections they said they are not liable for anything. If they can not point out items that are severely defected, and will not take any responsibility, why use them. I recommend Waypoint they guarantee all aspects of their inspection.

We had JT Inspections do our home inspection and later found issues with our electrical box that they did not inform us about. Thank God I was home the day our electric panel started exploding or our house would have burned down. Once the fire department arrived and removed the cover panel they, and an electrician, found half of the lines in the electric box were illegal and not up to code and that when the cover of the panel was put back on one of the lines were pinched between the cover and the wall. FPL also found that a line had been illegally attached to their meter. None of these items were addressed on the inspection report we received. Also since the home inspector from JT was the last person to remove the cover he was the one that pinched the line between the cover and the wall. If he had not done that the breaker would have just popped instead of the entire box exploding. Even the building inspector that came out after we had the electric panel replaced said he has never seen anything like this in his 30+year career. We contacted JT Inspections to discuss this situation and to request that they cover the cost since they failed to do what we paid them for but they avoided our phone calls for 3weeks. When my husband did get ahold of them Morgan told him he should have taken the hint from them not returning our calls that they weren't going to do anything. She was extremely rude! I would never recommend this company to anyone. We could have lost our home and our pets due to their lack of ability to inform us that there was a major electrical issue.
