I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars—this company deserves a 20/10. I was convinced we had bed bugs, and Exel sent Vaughter Garner to inspect our home. He took his time, was incredibly thorough, and, to my surprise, found absolutely no evidence of bed bugs. Even more impressive, he was completely honest. In today’s world, it’s rare to find someone who comes out for an inspection and doesn’t try to sell you an unnecessary treatment. What truly stood out was his kindness and empathy. My son was very anxious, and Vaughter took the time to reassure him, explain everything, and put his mind at ease. That level of professionalism and compassion is something you don’t forget. I kept his name because I will recommend Vaughter Garner and Exel to anyone who needs pest control services. Thank you for your honesty, integrity, and outstanding customer service. You turned what could have been a very stressful experience into a reassuring one. 200% recommended!

Fast initial response, and sales rep seemed to be kowledgeable, friendly, and polite. Everything went downhill from there: difficult to get in touch with through local office, scope of company abilities is limited, needed to hire 2nd company who could provide greater services, Excel workers did things to interfere with 2nd company's work/workers, Excel comunicated false reports about my property/the property's condition from the local office (when I was out of town - different reprts rceived from corporate reports), workers weren't familiar with their own traps, created greater problems inside my home by doing thing that pulled more rodents from outside areas, sent different reps for updates who said, "I don't know. I wasn't here...." Then, rep would walk away. When contact with one of Excel's owners finally happened, he tried to not take responsibility for any part of Excel conduct/lack of conduct/empoyee behavior, lack of contract commitments. After long conversation, the Excel owner agreed to fuly refund al money paid. Full refund was never given, only $45 of more than about $900.Our HOA association had hired Excel first, and have since hired a different company. Really question who is writing positive reviews for Excel. (When looking for pest control company#2, I ask others for referrals. First thing other people said was not to hire Excel.)

David was my third and last try at getting the bees invading the side of my place and the ones coming into the spaces of my home. After a month of failed attempts, I finally found EXCEL and David cared enough to try harder and he found the source. So grateful. Don’t waste time with other companies! Go straight to EXCEL and ask for David!!

Been with excel for a few years, I live on the lake and never had any issues. very kind and good customer service, I have no bug issues at all and if an occasional roach pops up, it’s dead. Great service. Thank you Vaughter for your excellent service and for going above and beyond.

We hired this company because of their good reviews, but after our experience, I’m honestly starting to wonder how many of them are real. Our tenting was scheduled for July 20. Jason first told us he’d be there at 9 a.m. That time came and went with no one showing up. Then he said between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Still nothing. We texted him at 2 p.m., and he said it would be by the end of the day. Around 5 p.m., we reached out again, and his response was, “If my guys have to work until 9, then they will,” followed by, “What are you so worried about?” Come to find out, the real issue was that the work order had never even been placed, and Jason was trying to figure out why. Instead of simply being honest and communicating that to us from the beginning, he kept pushing the arrival time back all day. A simple phone call explaining what was going on would have gone a long way. I understand that delays happen, but proper communication should too. With four owners, there was no excuse for no one to keep us updated. Instead, we were left wondering what was going on and had to keep reaching out ourselves. Keep in mind, when you schedule a tenting service, you have to prepare your entire home, pack up your belongings, and leave. So imagine doing all of that, making arrangements, and then finding out the company you trusted is unreliable and failed to properly communicate. When you call customer service, you’ll likely end up talking to someone named Sarah, who sounds like she’s reading from a script instead of actually listening or trying to help. It made the whole experience even more frustrating. Yes, Jason eventually offered us a refund and free services. A refund should absolutely be given considering what happened, but I wouldn’t let this company tent my home for free after this experience. I’ll be posting screenshots of our conversations so people can see exactly what happened. Save yourself the headache and stay away from this company. There are plenty of pest control companies out there that value their customers and know how to communicate. I would never use or recommend this company to anyone.

Excel Pest Services has a great team of technicians, especially Vaughter, he’s not just thorough he’s educational. He would show us the damage that the pest were causing, and thoroughly explain the when and why it could have occurred. I would highly recommend Excel to homeowners for pest control services.

Vaughter was the person from Excel that came out and gave us the quote on our pest issues. He was the best at educating us on all we need to do in the future to make sure we never have the problems again. He went to school for this and there was not one question he couldn’t answer. I felt so comfortable with him with all his knowledge I knew that we would not use anyone else but Excel for our needs. We live in Florida and was unaware that this landlord did not have pest control at all. That to me was unusual because I’ve been here 30 years and every HOA usually takes care of that. I would recommend Excel to anyone that needs pest control. I have already written the review in “Next Door” because people on that site are always looking for professionals.
