Sussex Tree - SavATree

Tree Crew: Chris, Edwin, Gustavo, and Luis. This crew is an asset to SavATree. They were professional and personable. Also, they worked efficiently as a team, safely, and cleanly. It was awesome having them onsite and getting to know them. They took down four large river birches, trimmed a few other trees, and ground the stumps in quick fashion. I wish we had more trees to cut down because we would absolutely have this crew back onsite.

I had a big issue with delivery from another company of topsoil that wasn’t real topsoil it was dirt and after calling companies for 1.5 days found Savatree who worked to pick it up to dispose of it the next day as the supplier and contractor both refused to help us. Senior citizens left with a major pile of dirt, 2.5 yards. We live in a HOA neighborhood and it was dirt with sand and some smaller rocks in it. This was the only company that was willing and able to help us ASAP and it was a hard heavy job and the 2 men who came out were so professional and kind, unlike the 2 other companies that abandoned us with this mess. They worked nonstop lifting heavy shovels of packed dirt. Nobody wanted this job and I was relieved when my last call was the one who did it. Showed up right on schedule and went right to it. I also had them cut down 2 seagrass. This was an out of the normal situation and nobody wanted this job. All I can say is Savatree saved the day for us. More than happy and will definitely use them again!! Now we can sleep tonight. I would highly recommend using this company. Save yourself time and troubles by using them.

I had top soil delivered and installed along both sides of my new concrete driveway. The team was punctual, friendly and thorough. They did a great job spreading the soil evenly, applying grass seed, and leaving the place clean and tidy. I've also used this company for trimming a huge American Privet. Good folks to deal with.

Wanted to reach out to give a review of my experience with two gentlemen, who provided me tree service on Wednesday, July 9th. The two Micky's (Michael Lundon & Michael V.) came to do the job. They were professional, knowledgeable and thorough about what they were about to do, hardworking, and courteous. They are an asset to your company, and definitely deserve 5-Stars. We have used Sussex Tree multiple times over a decade or more. Always professional, efficient, and courteous. We had “The Mikey’s” crew today and they lived up to that record and even exceeded our expectations.

Today we had our yearly tree work done.We have many large older trees that require extensive care. Our crew of Aaron,Mikey, Chris, and Mr. Cruz arrived and got right to it.The work done over the years has always been exceptional and these guys lived up to it. It is expected to get the work done and the yard cleaned-up after the work is done but this crew worked efficiently and carefully. No music.No yelling.Total team work.Our trees look healthy and cared for. The very special part for me was the care taken to move two active nests carefully with success in amongst completing outstanding arborist skills.

Shout out to Aaron, Mikey, Chris, Cruz, and Edis for the outstanding job they do removing a dangerous tree from my property. They did it without damage to my shed or property and cleaned up as if they weren't ever there and did it a very professional manner. Someone came to inspect my tree and provided me with a quote the same day I called. A week and a half later, my problem tree was gone. Scott and his crew were professional and friendly. Definitely would call them again for tree work.

The crew led by Joshua King arrived this morning and worked like demons. It's clear they love their work and they certainly love trees. Josh was really knowledgeable about the species of trees, how they grow and how to cut them back. They took down a huge tree and it was like aerial ballet. My planting beds and my hostas were uninjured and they left my property spick and span. Most of all the entire crew of five guys were as professional, responsible and friendly as can be. I have used this firm in the past and will absolutely call them again. A++++

Impressive work at our property. A very small yard to work in. However the crew did all work and cleaned up. It was done in a five to six hours. It was done for satellite service. We are really impressed with the results of the opening of back . Great work. Thanks so much

Josh King and his crew were extremely professional and courteous to deal with. The job of climbing and clearing dead wood on tall old oaks and trimming holly trees was performed exactly as anticipated. At the end, they insured that everything was as we expected it and cleaned the mulch beds and lawn like they had never been there. We highly recommend Josh and his team for a job done right.

Daniel and crew did another wonderful job on my massive willow. All the crew was very polite interested in being helpful very neat and did an excellent job. This is why I continue to go back each time I need work done on this tree. Lovely receptionist answered questions as well as she could what she couldn't promised a call to insure we'd have the information we needed.

Mike is the only person who understands the requirements of the work. We had two paver patios installed and major landscaping which is still not complete after three months. A crew comes to work with no one in charge and/or understands all the requirements. There is lack of communication on what needs to be accomplished which is frustrating as a customer. The crew leaves with no communication that leaves us baffled. The latest fiasco was today with a new crew cursing and yelling at us. One of the managers came by today and was yelling as well and telling us "he was in charge". There is a punch list which we diligently email the company on a regular basis, How the crews can come here and not know what is required is very frustrating. Still not complete and not sure when they will return! On a final note we called the office after finding that the pollen discolored the pavers and wanted to know what to do!!! The receptionist blasted us on the phone "we are not responsible for that". We wanted to know what to do so we called the manufacturer and got the right answer and help!

This company used my property to park their vehicles and walk back-and-forth from my neighbor's yard. He was having some tree work done. Very inexperienced people working heavy machinery and safety measures were not being followed, not to mention sub par work. As these employees were walking through my yard they were looking at me like I was the problem. When I tried to call the company to discuss this, I got nothing. I would never recommend or use this company. There are many tree companies in our area that might not be as big as this company but are definitely better at paying attention to detail. This is the 1st time I have ever posted on anything, but from what I saw today, this is a company that operates with no rules, or believes the rules dont apply to them. I am certain that the people on here who have given multiple stars for this company are either paid by the company or employees of the company. Please protect yourself and make a decision to go with a more responsible company that is respectful to other people's property and takes pride in their work. This was really bad and disrespectful.

I don't know how they were. They never showed up.

This is a terrible company, not responding to phone calls or emails. They must operate on a shoestring. After we paid the deposit, took them 2 months to submit the proposal to the City. The City approved it in 10 days, it is for a free standing tree removal, not a complicated job. Now 2 months later we are not even on their schedule, and the roots are lifting the sidewalk! We had no idea what we were getting into and hope others find a more responsible company to do their landscaping and other jobs.

Prices are ok

Not sure how there work is, but the jack hole riding around in his fancy king ranch work truck doesnt mind cutting people off and driving wreckless!
