We were not informed of the date of the official treatment Cristian did not see me prior to the treatment Since he was new to the property, I am unsure he covered the whole property Pls tell the both lawn treatment and repellent teams to consult the owner prior to the treatment Thank you

Tuff lawn is reasonable on prices and they will work with you on prices if you are not happy with the prices and the best is there's no contract

Didn't dig up bare spots that were compacted before throwing seed on it. Missed putting extra seed on some bare areas. Seeding overall was not power seeding, only rotary spread.
Covered about half the lawn with fertilixer.spent ten minutes. Many weeds around the yard, don" think he cared. Do I pay half the price for the servicce?

Their truck showed up at my house this morning with absolutely no communication - completely unauthorized. Two guys get out and start walking around my yard - they don't even ring the bell and intro themselves. Then they start unloading equipment onto my front lawn. This is first thing in the morning around 8:15 - I had to go out the front door and ask them to remove the equipment and leave. Called their office and was told a list they obtained from another vendor was uploaded to their system by mistake. Just terrible - actually trespassing! Totally unethical. Will never do business with them.

Bait & switch - after spraying for ticks at my home for several years this business "remeasured" my property and increased the area 116% with the same increase in my bill. No notification was sent at the start of the spraying season warning me of the increase. After disputing the bill I agreed with owner on a settlement and service cancelation. Owner still sent my bill to collections. Agreed amount was paid in full. They are argumentative, rude and underhand with their billing. You can do a lot better when looking for lawn care or tick control.
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE from “Richie Henderson” and his nasty father. These guys are dishonest and unethical. They overquoted my lawn saying it was 54,500 sq. ft when BOTH True Green andTeed & Brown quoted me 38,000sq ft. And when I called to complain I got “Richie Henderson’s” father online who was even ruder and nastier to me. And I had JUST had a survey done by RKW surveying and overlayed a satellite image on it to prove I only have 38,000 sq. ft. Stick with Teed & Brown or Tuff Lawn. I can’t imagine having to deal with these truly unpleasant and UNETHICAL people all year.

We’ve checked our records and have no idea who you are or the property address. Please give us a call in the office, email us, or send us message through our website with your information and we will look into this and address it with you. We don’t post any services for payments until the work has been completed. It would be almost impossible for us to charge you for a service not performed. We would have to manually post a service not completed and that would have to be with my approval. Provide us with more information so that we may figure out who you are, and what the issue is. Similar negative experience as others that have already posted. Re: Tuff Lawn's response...You should keep as detailed notes and pictures of your lawn results. When I asked John (the owner) if he thought the lawn looked better, he said "how would I know??!? My one star rating will remain. And yes, as I pointed out, LOTS of companies offer lawn services.

Mr. Gorman,<br><br>Your review does not match the effort that we put in to resolve some of the issues with your lawn.<br><br>John met with you on 9/22 to take a look at the lawn as you felt there was no improvement in the lawn at all. You became hostile and nasty when John pointed out the dog spots in the lawn and the fertilizer burn from you doing your own extra application of fertilizer.<br><br>Your expectations were unrealistic considering that you didn’t begin services with us until late fall, 2017. In the spring, 2018, you did your own seeding and then on 05/11/2018 08:18 AM - sent pics with note "Hi. This is growing among my new seed in back yard. Help please.” The seed that you used appeared to be a low quality seed, full of weeds. You cannot expect a company to guarantee work that they didn’t do but that you did yourself.<br><br>Your messages were even threatening, 06/08/2018 08:13 AM - Talked to Mr. who said there are a dozen companies that he can call and if we cannot get his service scheduled he will call another provider. Told him I would call back this afternoon after I check with scheduler.<br><br>You continued to have issues with the lawn related to weeds (most likely due to your own seeding) and complained about bare spots (which were a result of us killing the weeds in the lawn.)<br><br>06/09/2018 01:01 PM – John returned your call and gave his direct email if you needed to contact him directly.<br><br>We did not hear back from you again until 08/06/2018 01:16 PM – John spoke with you and you were going to send over photos of the weeds in areas that you seeded. You also complained about the bare spots in areas (we were killing the weeds.)<br><br>08/08/2018 03:40 PM – John again left a message that we sent out our service manager to check the lawn and to call him back.<br><br>You seemed to have the most problems when we sent an email for past due payments on 9/7/18.<br><br>You called again on 09/13/2018 02:29 PM. John spoke with you the next day and agreed to meet with you the next week to check the lawn with you.<br><br>John followed up again with you on 09/21/2018 08:15 AM – calling your voicemail which was full and also sent a text to reach you and to set up a time to meet.<br><br>John met with you on 9/22 to take a look at the lawn as you felt there was no improvement in the lawn at all. You became hostile and nasty when John pointed out the dog spots in the lawn and the fertilizer burn from you doing your own extra application of fertilizer. You told John to leave the property.<br><br>09/24/2018 09:04 AM – We received your cancellation of service email that was sent after you met with John. “This is to confirm cancellation of service effective immediately 9/22/18."<br><br>You continue to have an outstanding balance that has not been paid to date for work that has been completed.<br><br>We keep detailed notes of our calls with customers as we pride ourselves on customer service. Unfortunately, there are some people whose expectations we will never be able to meet as you have shown in your review of us.
I have used Tuff Lawn for several years. The lawn care has been very good. No complaints there. However, after reporting damage to my irrigation system due to aeration performed by the company, the response from the owner was accusatory and downright nasty. Don't expect a friendly resolution to a dispute, and do not expect to be treated like a valued customer.

Gary, there are always two sides to every story. We sent out a lawn sprinkler company that has been in the business for many years, is highly recommended, and reputable to assess the damage that you claimed we caused. The nastiness that you claim you received was experienced by the owner of the sprinkler company from you. You had 15 damaged heads from wear and tear, not from any damage that we caused. We have been in business for approximately 30 years. We take responsibility for any damage that we cause due to our negligence. This was not the case. You did pay your bill. We appreciate that. Good luck to you in the future. Sometimes it is best to part ways, amicably.
Owner was extremely unprofessional when a service was disputed. This could have been resolved in a diplomatic manner. Would never use again.

We responded directly to this customer on 4/8/17. We never received a cancellation, verbal or in writing. We performed the spring lawn service on 4/7/17. Our automated call system left a message on 4/5/17 alerting the customer to service on 4/7/17. Mr. was home and outside when our technician pulled up and to service. Mr. went inside and never told our technician that he didn't want the service or canceled the account. Mr knew that we were servicing the property. We go to great lengths to accommodate and work with our customers. Why didn't he just stop our technician from servicing?
